Neil and Avni sat on the sofa eating their takeaway
Avni sighed, food oh how she had missed meals

Neil glanced at Avni, happy to have her with him
"You know"
Avni looked at him

"This house isnt made for one, it was lonely without you, bare and quiet"
Avni cleared her throat "But i've only been here for a few hours"

"I know, but thats how quickly your presence can lighten even the darkest of places"
Avni was blown away by how nice he was being, his words rare for someone like her to hear

All at once, his food was on the table and he was leaning over her
"I dont want to just know you Avni" his eyes held sincerity and longing as he looked down at her

"Then what do you want" she whispered
"I want to learn, what makes you tick, what makes you smile, laugh, cry, what hurts and what doesn't, how your body works"

"How my body works" she stuttered
Neil wrapped his hand behind her back, pushing her back up so her chest hit his

"I want to know what you like, what your body wants, I want to pleasure you in every way Avni"
Avni had to close her eyes, the way he looked at her was to intense and it did things to her, unfamiliar things


Neil pulled her back with him so she was now lying on top of him
His finger traced a bruise as she flinched
"I hate what he did to you, if I had it my way I would hunt him down and kill him for even looking at you "

His forehead was against hers, she felt breathless
"How could he never see what he had in you"

"Im nothing special"
"You are, you are, dont ever tell me anything different" Neil's voice rised an octave or two

Avni tried to pull back but stopped when Neil shook his head
"How long has it been since youve been treated the way you deserve"

Avni looked away, avoiding the question
Looking back at him, her heart flooded with emotions, how good he had been to her, how he had saved her

Without realisation she kissed his lips, softly
Pulling back, she was alarmed

Standing up she stepped back
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry"

Neil stood up but she covered her face with her arms, falling to the floor
"Please dont im sorry "

A small part of Avni was aware that she had never acted this way, never feared a beating but being treated so good made her forget how to act
She had crossed the line

Neil bent down, pulling her up
She slowly put her arms down
Pressing his lips to hers, her eyes opened

"Dont fear me, dont apologise to me, and never stop yourself Avni, im all yours"
Avni pulled back "I dont know how to um"

Neil smiled "Then let me teach you"

Avni was fully aware she was a married woman, but since her husband had never once treated her the way Neil did, she let herself forget that she was Avni , Vidyut's wife.

Right now, she was just Avni.

Avni shouted, sitting up in bed
Her hand rested on her chest, trying to calm her racing heart

She had only just fallen asleep, to be filled with nightmares of Vidyut
Looking around at the dark room, she felt very unsafe

Could she go to Neil?
No, that wouldn't be right
But, then again he did say she could do as she liked

Her mind was torn, but her heart called out for one thing and one thing only, Neil

Getting up she walked to his room, knocking she pushed the door open

"Neil, are you awake"
When she heard no reply she walked over to his bed

Tripping over something she fell onto his chest
"Isnt this a nice way to wake up"

Avni blushed, standing up
Neil turned the bedside light on

"Um, I had a nightmare and was wondering if I could talk with you, for a while "
Neil tapped the side of the bed next to him

Avni got in, Neil pulled the covers over him
Avni looked away when she saw Neil's bare chest

Neil noticed, smirking he edged closer
"Do you want to talk about it"
She shook her head

"Avni, look at me"
Slowly, she turned to face him
She hissed in pain at turning to fast, she had pulled at an injury

Neil's hand went to her back, drawing small circles, Avni struggled to keep her eyes open


"Okay, im sleepy, ill go back to bed"
"Or"

Avni looked at him "Or what"
Neil led down
"You stay"

Avni chose to stay, lying down, she faced away from him, this was how Vidyut made her sleep

"No, no, no, no, no, atleast allow me to look at something beautiful before I sleep"
Pulling her to him, she led looking up at him, switching the light of she stayed in his arms

His toned arms held her close, keeping her safe from everything bad in her life
Thinking he was asleep, she reached up and stroked his jaw with her fingers

She had been blessed with someone so good
Kissing his bare chest, she snuggled into him, taking in his natural scent and allowing it to calm her

I hope she slowly gains herself back and her courage back with support of Neil and get some medical help for physical and psychological wounds .. and start to live a independent and happy life .. looking forward for further updates 😊

Avni woke up in the early afternoon, looking up she saw Neil was still asleep

Her face flushed red at their intimate situation
Pulling herself back she got out of bed

Going to make breakfast she yawned , Neil walked over
"What smells so good"

Avni turned around handing him a plate
"Good morning " Avni smiled
Neil bent down pressing a kiss to her cheek "Thank you"

"Oh uh I um"
Neil smirked "Nervous Avni"
She shook her head


Neil bit into his food "As im taking time off work, my friend is coming here to collect some stuff, his name is DD"

Avni's face paled
"But if you dont want to meet him, you don't have to"
"Is he, is he nice like you or"

"Not as nice as me but hes nice" Neil joked
"So hes bad"
Neil stood up "No, nice, I was just joking"

Avni nodded "Okay, I will meet him"
Neil stood up as he heard a knock on the door

"Guess that's him"
Avni grabbed his hand "My bruises"
"You tell him what you want to tell him"
Avni nodded

Neil went to get the door
"Neil, my man, whats been keeping you away"

Neil walked in with DD pointing to Avni
"This is why, Avni meet DD, DD meet Avni"

DD reached out his hand to shake Avni's
He frowned at her bruises as she stepped closer
"Ill get the files"

"Avni, may I ask a question"
Avni nodded
"Neil is my best friend, but I can't help but notice the bruises on your face, i'm aware you can never know what someone does behind closed doors, so if hes hurting you, give me a sign and I can get you out of here"

Avni smiled at DD's kind words, Neil was surrounded by good people
"Neil saved me from the person who did this, thank you for being so good but Neil would never hurt me"

The realisation made Avni feel a lot more happier
DD nodded as Neil returned with the files
"Do you want a drink before you leave"

DD shook his head "Someone's gotta do work" slapping his back they hugged

"It was nice meeting you Avni, I hope to see you again"
Avni waved at him as he walked out


"So, how was he"
"Very nice, just like you"
Neil smiled, kissing her hand
