As Neil turned around, he saw Avni standing there with a frown, he thought that she heard his conversation.. He didn't want to tell her about this and make her worried..
He asked with a smile: Hey, Are you OK?? Kuchh kaam tha??
Avni: Q?? Kuchh kaam hoga tabhi tumhare paas aati hoon kya?
Neil: Nai aisa nai h, but tum humesha khud ko kisi na kisi problem mein fansa leti ho..
Avni: Main aisa isliye krti hoon qki mujhe pata h tum humesha mujhe bachane aaoge.. ( Avni whispered this to herself)
Neil: Kuchh kaha tumne?? (He asked raising his eyebrows)
Avni: Nahi toh.. Actually mujhe tumse kuchh baat krni thi..
Neil: Haan bolo..
Avni: Tumhe toh pata h maine Journalism mein apni graduation ki h.. Dayawanti Mehta se badla lene k plan mein maine ek news channel mein job k liye apply kiya tha.. Mujhe wahan se interview call aaya h.. So, I just wanted to ask you, what should I do??
Neil: Wow!! Avni.. It's a great news.. (He hugged her in excitement)
There is no need to take my permission.. And you should follow your dream and career..
Avni: Lekin Bebe??
Neil: Don't worry about Bebe.. She is cool.. Wo kabhi mana nai krengi and waise bhi hum conservative mindset wale family nai h jo bahu ko job na krne de.. ( Neil said this with proud smile)
Avni too felt happy and thanked God for giving her such an amazing family..
Neil: I m so proud of you Wifey.. Jaa Avni jee le apni zindagi or kr de apne Pati ka naam roushan..
Avni: Hahaha.. Tumhara naam Neil hi sahi h.. Roushan krne ki koi jaroorat nai h..
Neil: Are yaar, kabhi toh mere dialogues ki taareef kr diya kro..
Avni: I will try next time..
Neil made puppy face and Avni out of excitement pulled his cheeks..
Neil smiled childishly at this..
Avni was just about to turn and go, But Neil was fast enough and pulled her towards himself by her elbow.
She crashed on his chest and her hands were in front near his heart..
Neil: You are looking amazing Wifey.. Mann krta h tumhe dekhta hi rahoon..
Avni blushed at Neil's comment.
She was about to say something when they heard someone clearing their throat..
That was none other than Ali..
Neil left Avni's hand abruptly and a flash of anger was seen on his face. Avni stumbled backward but again SuperCop Tillu grabbed her by waist and steadied her. He kept his hands on her waist and turned to face Ali.. ( He just wanted to irritate Ali)
Neil: Ali!! Main tujhse hi milne aane wala tha.. I m really sorry dude.. Maine tum dono ka saath nai diya uss time but yaar believe me main bas apni family ko ye proof krna chah rha tha ki hum jaisa dekhte h humesha waisa hi nai hota.. Sorry dude for my rude behaviour..
Ali was just staring at Neil's hand which were on Avni's waist.. He was fuming from inside. He clenched his teeth.. And then replied.
Ali: Chal atleast tujhe ye toh pata chala ki galti teri family ki thi.
Avni: Ali! (She said in warning tone)
Ali: It's OK Neil. I should go.. Maine tum dono k "Husband -Wife" moment ko disturb kr diya..
Avni: Ali aisi baat nai h.. Wo hum bas kuchh baat kr rhe the..
Neil was hurt to hear this from Avni. He removed his hands from Avni's waist and moved a little away..
Avni instantly felt cold where Neil's hands were. She wished to feel his hands there again. (A/N- Beta Avni tujhe bhi Pyaar ho gya h Tillu se.. Ek baar confess toh kr fir dekhiyo wo tere se kabhi haath hi nai hataega.. Hahaha)
Neil: I think I should go.. Tum dono baat kro..
Neil was about to go when Avni held his hand..
Avni: Neil ruk jao na..
Neil smiled at Avni.. Or Ali jal k raakh ho gya...
Ali: Main chalta hoon.. Mujhe cafe mein bahot sara kaam h..
Avni: Ok.. We will meet there..
Ali ki toh khal gyi.😆. Avni not even once stopped him.. He felt like Avni is going far away from him.. He thought to confess his love for her the next time they will meet..
Neil: Avni! Ali tumse milne aaya tha.. Usse baat toh kr leti..
Avni: Don't worry, main usse mil k use sab samjha doongi..
Neil: Okay wifey jaisi aapki ikchha.. Now I have to go.. Mujhe important kaam h..
Avni: Neil jaldi aana.. And be safe.. Mujhe negative vibes aa rhe h..
Neil: Be positive..Tea Positive.. Tum jao Chai peeyo or Bebe se baat kro.. Mujhe kuchh nai hoga, afterall I m Supercop.. And jab itni care krne wali wifey ho toh mujhe kya ho sakta h..
Avni was overwhelmed to hear that Neil has accepted her as wifey and her eyes filled with tears..
Neil: Pushpa, I hate tears..
He wiped her tears which was about to fall.. Then cupped his face and kissed her on forehead..
Avni (thought): Neil, tum itne achhe q ho? Aajtak main sochti rahi ki har mard mere papa jaise hote h.. But you have proven me wrong at every point. Tumne humesha mera saath diya. Mere liye apne family se lad gye.. I love you for that..
As Avni realised what she thought in her last line she froze..
Neil felt her stiffed form..
Neil: Avni, are you OK?
Avni: Haan haan main thik hoon..Tum jao nai toh late ho jaoge.. (Avni said composing herself)
Neil: Bye wifey.. Keep thinking about me..
Avni kept smiling at Neil..
This scene was witnessed by Bebe and Shweta..
Bebe: Dekha Madonna.. Apna Tillu Avni k saath kitna khush h.. Or tu uski ye khushi chheenna chahti h..
Hum sabko pata h ki Juhi k jaane k baad Tillu ki kya haalat hui thi.. Wo humesha kaam mein apne aap ko busy rakhta tha.. Par jab se Avni aayi h wo humare saath jyada se jyada time spent krta h. Wo fir se pyaar krne lga h..Tujhe pata h, ek maa kabhi bhi apne bachhe ko uske pyaar se alag nai krti. Main chahe jitna bhi tujhe taane de doon par tujhe kabhi Prakash se alag nai karungi qki mujhe pata h mera puttar tujhse kitna pyaar krta h.. Ek maa k liye uske bachhon ki khushi se badi koi khushi nai hoti.. Main bas umeed kr sakti hoon ki tu Avni k liye apna nazariya badal le..
Shweta was speechless.. For the first time Bebe and she were talking like Saas-bahu without commenting about her past.. She felt a little close to Bebe and melted a little for Avni.
