Chapter 9
Everything was going according to the plan. Dayavanti mehta had believed that mithali as avni and was following her. Mithali acted well. Neil was happy with the plan but he was till worries about Ali as whenever he witness him and avni together Ali's expression changes. Neil did not want to confront him as he did not want to spoil anything for now. They had found Deeksha as the weak link of the people and decided that they will confront her. Everything was set up. Ali and mithali fooled Deeksha into believing that she had won a lottery ticket only avni and Neil was to come.
Avni and Neil were leaving from the home when bebe stopped them telling she wanted to eat avni's hand food again. Neil tried to appose it but avni agreed leaving Neil confused.
Avni was cooking in the kitchen when Neil peeped in to help her and ask her the reason for accepting bebe's demand .avni saw Neil entering the kitchen.
Avni : what are you doing here Neil ? If bebe that's all.
Neil : I came to help you but avni why did you not refuse bebe? We have to cancel the plan you know.
Avni : it's OK Neil. Bebe had shown me how is grandmother's love can I not do this much for her.
Neil smiled hearing it. There was a innocent girl hidden behind the pain of avni.
Neil : so what are you cooking?
Avni : poha mine and mom's favorite. Even Ali makes it.
Neil's happiness washed away hearing Ali's name. Avni noticed it.
Neil : I will help you.
Avni : no thanks this time I want to cook by myself now go out.
Neil was pushed out of the kitchen by avni.
Avni went back to cook. He called mithali and informed her about cancelling the plan today for which she agreed.
Avni had made the poha very tasty. Bebe was impressed even shweta found it tasty but did not comment anything. Everyone praised avni's poha except shweta. Avni was upset about it she badly wanted win shweta aunty heart but she never allows her. Neil noticed it. As everyone was taking another bite of poha.
Neil : mom you don't like the poha?
Shweta : it was not bad Neil but not so good to be praised.
Neil : oh so you did not like the poha so mom but I loved it mom as you don't like it I will take the other poha in behalf of you okay.
Neil was going to take another poha from shweta's plate when she stopped him.
Shweta : Neil it's OK beta I will eat it ananya will feel bad and eat the other poha.
Bebe : why are you making reasons shweta accept it your daughter in law cooks the best.
Shweta became mute. Avni was rewarded jewelry for the food she prepared. Avni was going to confess that she did prepare the food previously to bebe.
Avni : bebe actually that pehli rasoi food was
Before avni could confess Neil came and said
Neil : bebe that pehli rasoi food was prepared by him. Avni had hurt in her hand sorry.
Bebe smiled hearing it.
Bebe : do you think I did not know it. I know ur hand taste Tillu. That's why I gave ananya double money for making you cook food .
Bebe went away .avni was surprised by the revelation she thought the food was of the hotel. Did Neil really cook it if yes then how did shweta aunty get bill?
Neil : OK before you eat my head by the question. Actually I had prepared the food but I had kept the hotel bill in it so that you don't find out the truth. U was such stubborn not to accept help from him that you would silently listen to mom's taunts but not take help from me.
Avni : OK. The food was tasty.
Neil smiled hearing it.
Neil : urs was double tasty. Will you teach him to make it. I love cooking.
Avni : I will but you should teach me to cook food. I want everyone to have my hands breakfast deal.
Avni forwarded her hand .Neil was stakes the Hand.
Neil : deal done. OK so today plan got cancelled I will just see and come what is happening there take care.
Neil went away. Avni went to the room and started getting bored.
It was only two days that she and Neil was back from neela maa house and it was bliss here. They had worked on their plan. Neil had filled neela maahouse with happiness. He used to cook for neela maa and her. Madhavi taai was given holiday till he was there. Neil had taken her and neela maa to ice cream dates. She had never seen her maa so happy as she has seen her nor she has been so happy. Life just a bliss with Neil and when they were leaving the house neela maa was sad but Neil assured her that they will come to visit her once in week and also stay with her.
Avni came out of her thoughts and thought roam the house when she saw Ashish mehta room. And was going near it when heard shweta aunty welcoming Ali. Avni turned and went to see Ali worried and Neil totally blank. Shweta left when avni entered . Avni turned towards Ali.
Avni : what was the matter Ali? Tell naa.
Ali : avni actually mithali is kidnapped by dayavanti mehta.
Ali narrated the whole incident that how mithali wanted to cancel the plan and he continued it thinking it is the best time.
Ali : I never thought this will happen avni. I'm really sorry.
Avni was angry.
Avni : Ali do you understand where mithali is? She is in clutches of a woman who is not less than devil. Her hands did not shake killing a child. If something happens to mithali. I can never forgive myself.
Avni started to cry. Neil came and wiped her tears.
Avni : Neil please save mithali.
Neil : I will avni. She is my best friend. But please don't go out of the house. Till now dayavanti mehta could have understood everything please be careful.
Avni : I promise you Neil I will not leave the house.
Neil went away leaving Ali and avni alone.
Ali was telling sorry to avni but it was falling to her deaf ears .
Avni : Ali leave me alone for sometime. I know u wanted to do that thing for me and I know u are guilty. Ali I'm sorry because of my revenge you got so blinded that you did not realize it would cost you ur life also. If dayavanti had done something to you also. If at all she realized that u were also there. I could have lost you also. After mom I am not in a position to loose some one not you nor Neil. U are best friend Ali and have been with me in my bad times do you think I would be able to bear loss of you now.
Avni hugged Ali. That's it Ali realized that maybe avni will never love him more than a friend but he holds equal importance in her life as Neil. She loves him equally but as a friend and he was so jealous of Neil taking his place. No one can take his place in avni's life Neil had just made a new place in her heart that's it. Ali was counselling her and avni broke the hug.
Avni : Ali I need some time alone.
Ali : fine. Take care of your self and don't leave the house as Neil said. I can't loose my friend second time.
Ali left the place.
Avni went in and started roaming the house again to distract herself unaware that she is soon going to stumble upon a secret which will change everything again.

Last episodes was naamkaran were a bliss to watch. Neil is a usual awesome and I am proud of avneil. Avni for not compromising her self respect and Neil for not being the mcp. Ali is going to turn negative it is the most sad news. Most of the people you have started watching naamkaran after leap and for avneil. But I have watched naamkaran from the start and I totally adore the friendship of Ali and avni. The CVS are going to spoil the friendship so bad. This chapter is some what dedicated the friendship of Ali and avni. Ali was a friend indeed at least at childhood he had almost saved avni so much .

Avni was roaming around when she went in front of Ashish mehta room and she opened it and found only memories of her. Her eyes got moist and tears just flowed from it. She saw the room decorated with her greeting cards which she used to make for her father and found some of her mother's pic also there. She did not understand what to do either to cry that her father kept her memories with him or curse herself for thinking of her father. Suddenly avni leg got hurt and when she looked towards the leg she found a box which she picked up and opened to find a letter and the handwriting was of her father's though she did not want to read it but her heart wanted to see once what her father wrote.
She read it
Avni :
Dear avni
I know beta you could be reading this letter very late. I'm sorry my rockstar I could not protect you instead became the reason of your mother's death. Please forgive ur dad.
Your father
Ashish mehta.
Avni started crying loudly. She also found a chip with the letter and controlled her tears and went to the room to check on the chip.
As the chip played in the laptop. Avni's nightmare came truth. Her father was no more. Till now avni thought dayavanti mehta at least loved her son but that lady was really a psycho she can only see her religion and society. Rage and anger filled avni dayavanti mehta had made her father also die. Avni took the gun which was lying in Neil's drawer and ran to cross the door of the house just then a memory played back with her
Neil :promise me avni that you will not step out of the house today.
Avni : I promise you Neil.

How could she break a promise given. Neil had trusted her. Till now except Neil and neela maa everyone had broken all promises given to her. Will she do the same?.
Avni was starting at the door blankly with dilemma in her heart. A hand patted her back and she looked to see Neil standing here. Neil holds avni's hand and takes her to room. Avni follows without telling anything.
Neil locks the door of his room. He looks at avni angrily. He takes the gun from her hand and throws it.
Neil : what is this avni? Where you going?how could you break ur promise of not leaving the house today? What were you doing with the gun?
Avni was till blank.
Neil shakes her and avni looks at him and hugs him tightly without telling anything to him and cries. Neil was shocked.
Neil brings her out of the hug softly and cups her face.
Neil : what happened avni ?
Avni was not able to tell anything she pointed out to the laptop and said "Neil dayavanti mehta papa ". Neil saw the laptop and took avni with him and went near it and replayed the video. Avni clutched Neil's jacket and sat down. Neil was horrified seeing it and avni again experienced hell. She was not leaving Neil and was hugging him. Neil understood the reason for avni going out and dilemma she was in. Neil smoothly caressing avni's hair removed freed her from the hug and caressed her crying face.
Neil : avni please don't cry.
Avni : Neil how could she Neil? She made me a orphan Neil.
Neil : no avni u are not a orphan me neela maa, Ali and nanno are there for you. Right. Even Aman will come to you after seeing the face of dayavanti mehta.
Neil : now sleep we will talk tomorrow.
Neil made avni sleep avni on the bed and put blanket on her and was leaving to sleep on sofa when avni holds Neil's hand . Neil looks at her.
Avni spoke softly " please don't go Neil. Be with me .I'm afraid. ".
Neil smiled at her and slept next to her holding her hands.
Avni slept having relief.

Chapter 11
Neil woke up morning and turned towards avni and smiled seeing her sleeping she looked like a angel. He took his clothes silently and went to bath he did not want to disturb avni for now she needed rest and some time to come out of the shock which she got after last night. It was shock for him as well but it did not affect him as it affected her. Neil went to bath .
Avni woke up but could not find him and that's the time she heard the water shower sound and understood Neil was in the washroom. Shweta entered and saw avni till in the bed and she scolded her and asked her to get ready .
Avni : but aunty Neil is in the washroom I will come after sometime.
Shweta : don't need to make excuses. Freshen up in the guest room .
Saying that shweta went to avni's cupboard and took out a dress for her and asked her to follow her. Avni wanted to inform Neil but followed shweta silently.
Neil came out of the washroom and saw avni missing in the room. Stress over came him . He had all kinds of thoughts running around his mind.
What if avni woke up and anger overcame her and she went to meet dayavanti mehta? When dayavanti mehta's hand did not shake while killing her son will it stop from harming avni ? He had protected avni and hid her identify so safely from dayavanti if it comes out now?.
Neil took his car keys and hurriedly was going out of the room and when bumped into someone and fell upon the person and when he saw it was avni a relief came to his soul and a smile on his face. Avni's eyes were closed and when she opened it meet with Neil's and they two were too close. Bebe's voice of calling them disturbed them and they broke their eye contact. Neil got up and made avni stand.
Neil : what was the hurry of coming u did not even see me. U can't stay away from me right. It's OK it's really hard to resist Neil khanna.
Neil smirked. Avni's eyes widened seeing it. She whispered slowly " back to his flirty things dangerous husband ". Neil heard it. Avni was going to go inside the room but Neil blocked her way.
Neil : what is the hurry my dangerous wife?.
Avni : leave the way Neil.
Avni tried to push Neil but could not.
Avni got tried. She looked at him with pleading look and he turned his face somewhere else.
Avni : what do you need Neil?.
Neil : a promise that you will not do anything before telling me. This time better not break it .don't even try. U know how worried was I when I did not find you in the room I thought you went to do something which you could do yesterday. As yesterday my promise stopped you for sometime. But today u was not bound by it anymore.
Avni : I knew you will be worried. I wanted to inform but shweta aunty was in hurry. U were using the washroom and I needed to go down because bebe wanted had some work so I went to guest room to freshen up. I was not going to break my promise yesterday and will never break it especially given to you. Trust me Neil without informing you I will not do anything big.
Neil left avni way to the room. Avni took her mobile went to the hall as bebe wanted to see some selfies of her. Before going she gave Neil a smile and went. Neil smiled back.
Neil was getting ready to work. When his phone rang he picked up in a hurry without seeing the contact number.
Neil : hello.
The next thing Neil heard made him made him numb and he took his car keys and left the room.
Neil saw avni and bebe smiling in the hall. He was going out of the house without anyone noticing but avni stopped him.
Avni : Neil have ur food and go.
Even bebe insists him but Neil refuses and goes telling he has really important work.
Neil drove his car and went away before avni comes out to speak to him.
Avni found Neil gloomy as he refused to eat the food and went out. "what had happened to him he was happy sometime back " . She came out of the house to speak with him but before that he had drove his car and went.
Avni went inside the house sadly.

Avni was instructing the workers who were shifting things in the house from the old house as said by shweta. When a photoframe fell down from the box which had only Neil's belongings. The servant went to pick it but avni stopped him and said him to continue his works as she picked the photo frame up and when she saw it, her heart beats stopped for a second. Avni had shock written in her face. The photo had Neil smiling and taking selfie with a girl so closely.



Avni saw love in Neil's eyes for that girl. She took the photo frame and ran inside her room with broken heart and controlling her tears. Avni had seen the photo many times and only questions ran in her mind. It was lunch time when DD had come to home to take some files from Neil's room and when he saw avni looking towards some photo blankly he went near to see the photo and he also had shock written over his face. He never knew about the girl with whom Neil was posing so happily. Avni looked at DD blankly and asked "who is this girl DD? .was this Neil's ex girlfriend and where is Neil? ".DD did not know what to answer to avni.
DD : bhabhi trust me I don't know this girl and I'm seeing her for the first time. Neil sir did not come to office today. He takes leave every year on this day even I don't know the reason. But I think I know where he goes? Once I have meet sir near this address on this date last year he was coming out with white clothes and was very sad. I think he may be there.
Avni really looked shocked she wanted to know what is this mystery?
Avni : can you give me the address?
DD : sure bhabhi I will message you. But please don't mistrust sir bhabhi he will never cheat you and this photo is a misunderstanding.
DD went away taking the files. Avni took her purse and saw DD had messaged some address . With heavy heart she left the house informing prakash uncle.

Avni reached the given address and found so many people outside the house wearing white clothes. She went towards them.
Avni : what is going here and why are you people wearing white clothes?
Person : madam sharad of juhi madam is conducted here every year it has become four years since she passed away and every year her mother conducts it.
Juhi the name felt so familiar to her.
Wasn't it the same name which Neil screamed at her the time when she was in danger in neela maa's house and he had called her that name but she had forgotten it.
She came out of her thoughts when she heard a voice asking her " who are you? ". Avni turned back to see a lady of her mother's age looking at her with questions in her eyes.
Avni : aunty actually I came here searching my husband Neil khanna but I came here mistakenly sorry.
That lady's eyes widened hearing it with surprise.
Lady : what is your husband's name?
Avni : Neil khanna.
That lady lips curved into a warm smile and avni got a warm hug from her. Avni saw affection for her in that unknown lady's face.
Lady : my name is Leela. Beta. Why are you standing outside come inside.
Avni wanted to refuse the request but could not she did not want to hurt that lady.
Avni entered the house and saw a picture of beautiful girl in every photo the same girl with whom Neil had taken that selfie. Avni : she is beautiful.
Avni said to leela pointing towards the picture.
Leela : she was beautiful. She is no more. Juhi passed away four years back.
Avni felt unknown pain because the girl in the photo looked so innocent and thinking her as dead is little pain.
Avni : I'm sorry aunty.
Leela smiled at her and said " it's OK beta no need to sympathize with me ".
Leela asked to avni to sit and asked her to have something. Avni refused politely.
Leela : you resemble my daughter by the qualities u have. Now I know the reason Neil is not so depressed .
Avni : Neil?.
Leela : Neil was juhi's boyfriend . After juhi's accident he was one who was more affected. The fun loving Neil was replaced by slightly matured one. It did not change Neil completely but he went to depression and when he came back out of it he left part of him back. In this four years this was the first time I had to remind Neil to attend juhi's sharad for first time. Most of the time he used to come the previous day and do the arrangements. U know today when I saw Neil he had happiness in his eyes and I could not find out the reason but know I know u are the reason for his happiness beta. By the way what is ur name beta?.
Avni : avni.
Leela smiled and said "such a beautiful name like you. Wait for sometime I will call Neil and come. Do have something beta ".
Leela gave avni food to eat. Avni did not refuse and started eating it as she was hungry.
Leela went backside of the house to call Neil as she knew he would be there. She saw neil siting down and leaning to the car.
Leela went towards Neil to see him sad. Leela patted his shoulders and Neil looked towards her sadly.
Leela was concerned and asked "what happened Neil? "
Neil : u always used to tell me story naa maa today I will tell you a story. There was once a prince and he fell in love with a princess and promised to love her forever but destiny separated them and the princess died. The prince vowed never to love anyone again. Time flew he met another princess and married her through consequences but slowly he started to have feelings for her and he Forgot the other princess whom he loved one time but today when he was reminded of the other princess he understood he had cheated the both princess. One by not keeping his promises and other one by giving hope. U know today I realized I am keeping avni in dark by telling nothing about juhi. I don't deserve anything.
Neil was going inside the house when Leela holds his hand and stops him and signals him to stand there only.
Leela : you finished ur part of the story let me tell my part of the story please.
Neil stood here. Leela continued to speak " once there was fun loving boy and he used to spread happiness in everyone's life. He feel in love with a girl . He and girl where living happily but the destiny had other plans the girl died leaving the boy in depression. The boy slowly came out of the depression , he continued to give light to everyone's life but his own life was in dark. Then entered his angel who brought light in his world and took away his darkness. The boy feel in love with her ".
Neil : are you not sad that avni took juhi's place in my heart.
Leela : who said avni had taken juhi's place in your heart ?. She had created her place in your heart which even juhi can't replace. Neil u are not cheating on anyone beta juhi would want you happy every time where ever she is trust him. Yes juhi was ur first love but maybe ur true love is avni that's why destiny made you meet her. I know u till did not realize that. About telling ur wife about juhi she knows the half. She was worried of you and came searching you here. Avni is inside. Go see her.
Neil went inside and found avni eating. Avni finished eating and got up to move out when she found Neil standing here . They both looked at each other for sometime .
Neil : avni what are you doing here?
Avni : Neil actually I was worried about you. You did not reach ur office and the photo. DD said you may be here. Trust me Neil I could never come if I knew what was happening. Leela aunty gave me food I could not refuse it. I am leaving.
Neil saw the photo which avni showed him and understood everything .
Neil : where are you going? I will call and inform bebe. We will stay here tonight.
Avni wanted to refuse but when Leela requested her she could not tell a no and she agreed.

Chapter 12
Avni and Neil had dinner in Leela's house. Avni went to sleep.
Leela and Neil was siting in the living room chatting.
Leela : aacha Neil u will be living with avni tomorrow. Take avni out and show her around.
Neil looked at the watch and said "maa it is too late don't you think ?"
Leela : Neil u have come here after many days. This is the same place u have spent ur best days u should cherish it with avni. I know this place will remind you of juhi but beta you can't be struck in one place you should create new memories. I think you and avni should know about you more . Back home u people get rarely time .cherish the time which you get now.
Neil smiled and said "fine maa good night "
Leela : good night beta.

Avni was arranging the bed for her and Neil to sleep. When Neil entered and saw her in normal clothes the ones which she used to wear before the marriage .
Avni found Neil staring at her.
" Neil actually Leela maa gave me this dress. It's juhi's "
Neil came near to avni and whispered "did I ask you? U look good in this dress. Actually avni I thought to show you around the place will you come with me "
"but Neil it's too late don't you think "said a worried avni
Neil : I know but I really want to show you this place. It has some of my beautiful memories here. I apparently realized you don't know me so much I want you to know me avni.
" fine Neil come let's go "said avni happily.
How can she take a back step when he was taking a step towards their relationship even she wanted to know him more.

Avni and Neil sneaked out of the house. Neil was showing avni around when he saw a bike his bike he used to take juhi for a bike ride
A hint of sadness was seen in his eyes.
Avni noticed it.
"what happened Neil? Is that ur bike "said avni
" yes I used to take juhi for bike rides often in that " said Neil happily remembering the days .
"oh it would have been great right a romantic bike ride " said avni
Neil looked at avni. Did he just hurt her with his words?. He made a point to never mention about juhi.
" so how did you and juhi meet? "asked avni.
" avni leave that now " Neil said trying to distract avni.
Avni looked at Neil's eye intensely and Said " u are not mentioning about juhi because you think I will get hurt. No Neil that will never happen. I want to know you Neil and juhi was a part of ur life. When I want to know I can't just ignore ur most important part of ur life. About juhi how can I have a problem with a person who made neil khanna what he is today. I respect her Neil " .
Neil khanna was speechless in front of someone first time in his life .
Neil and avni sat in the garden.
" u know avni I was never like this . I was prankster I met juhi in college. She was not so modern but very talkative. It was her innocence which attracted me. Me and juhi became enemies first. She hated my pranks and then with great difficulty we became friends. I don't know avni when I started to love her it just happened. When I realized it I was dancing madly. I was going to propose her and called to meet her "
Neil's eyes turned moist remembering nightmare of his life. Avni placed her hand on his hand. Neil looked at her she signalled him to continue.
" I brought red roses and a ring. I tried to rehearsal the proposal but nothing came from my mouth "
Neil smiled remembering the moments even avni smiled imaging Neil doing something like that.
" I went to the place one hour before and waited for her. I saw her coming towards me smiling. Then a car came and crushed her. My world froze avni. It took me a minute to realize what happened?. I ran towards her it was too late. I tried to wake her up I screamed but she did not listen. She left me. I blamed myself for her condition. It took me quite a time to come out of it "
"what about the car driver Neil? "asked a curious avni.
" Leela maa had filed a complain but since I was in depression I did not know about it but when I came out of it. I came to know about it I tried to track down the person I was late he had left the country. That's the time I realized the reality of the police force. Because of a corrupted police juhi's murderer went away easily. U know juhi always used to tell about it but I never cared but when I saw Leela maa's tears for not getting justice for juhi then I understood the thing. I was equally guilty avni only if instead of sitting simply and crying I could have tried to get justice to juhi today at least her killer could not have been roaming freely somewhere . That time I decided to join the police force to stop this injustice. Maybe I could not get one mother justice but I did not want another mother to go through it . U call me selfless avni but I had my own selfishness to join this police thing "
Avni took a breath and looked at neil.
" if this is selfishness Neil I want everyone to be like this. World would be a better place. U know Neil juhi would be happy wherever she is because her love made you have a better person. A person whom everyone admire today . Love is not which makes you crazy or blind it's which makes you a good person. "
Avni laid down in the garden. Neil also did the same. They were facing towards the sky.
Avni pointed at the brightest star and said " Neil you know maa used to tell when people died they would become stars. I think the brightest star is juhi "
"why do you think so ?" Neil asked
" the person whom Neil will love will always shine I am sure "said avni.
Neil looked at avni who was busy staring at the stars.
" Neil shooting star see here " avni shouted in excitement.
Before Neil could tell anything . Avni closed her eyes and folded her hands and started making a wish. Neil smiled looking at her.
He wanted avni to know about him but the opposite happened . He ended up knowing the stronger avni who respected him and his first love, who had the strength to hear about his nightmares and hold him. He also saw a innocent avni who believed in shooting stars. He stared at her.
Avni opened her eyes and saw Neil staring at her .
" Neil " she screamed.
" what happened? " said Neil.
" why did not you wish something? "
Said a angry avni .
" I have everything Now I don't have anything to wish for. Thank you avni for listening to me. I feel so relaxed after sharing with you about juhi " said Neil.
" I will kill you next time you tell thank you. I should tell thousand times that to you for counselling me when I came to know about papa's death. U were there for me Neil when I faced my nightmare. How can I not be ? So stop using thank you " said a angry avni.
" fine I will not " said Neil .
" Neil will you take me on a bike ride someday? " asked avni .
Neil did not reply. Avni waited for his answer and slept off.
" off course avni I would love to " Neil said after thinking lot about it looking at the sky. When avni did not reply he turned to see her and found her asleep. He carried her in his arms to the bedroom and laid her on the bed and slept beside her. Today was one of the best days of this life. Maybe this day took away his juhi but it gave him avni also. Neil khanna was reliving his past with his present
Neil also went off sleep without realizing that in sleep he and avni are holding hands.

Avni woke up and found Neil till asleep and she was moving towards washroom when she realized that Neil's hand was holding hers. She tried to take it off without distributing him but it became opposite Neil tightened the hold and pulled her towards her unknowingly. The next moment she found herself upon Neil close in his arms. Neil opened his eyes to find avni top of him that too so close. Why the hell he is always dragged in this kind of situations? For god sake he is a human being and can get tempted also and her closeness is not helping. Before he could react Leela maa's voice made avni move away and run to washroom blushing really and he was left in this embracing situation with Leela maa 's teasing glances. Neil gulped . he was not going to be spared.
Leela smiled and said sarcastically " Neil I came to tell that If you are getting late u can use the down bath room to freshen up but I was wrong you don't need right u both can adjust in one only. Sorry beta for disturbing you. Wrong timing. My advice did magic I guess "
Neil's face became red.
" no maa I was coming down only. "
Neil took his clothes to change and ran away leaving Leela to laugh.

Neil and avni freshened up and were having breakfast with Leela. It was time for them to leave. Avni felt emotional it was just one day and she got attached to this place and made memories to cherish.
Leela hugged her and said " beta think this as ur house only you can come anytime never hesitate ".
Avni and Neil took her blessing and went away.
Neil and avni were waiting .
Avni : Neil how much time will the cab take to reach here?
Neil : who said we are waiting for the cab?
Avni : don't tell me we are waiting for ur police van.
Neil laughed and said " my dear wife how can you be so creative? . Wait a minute u will get the answers "
Suddenly a person came riding a bike which avni saw night with Neil. The person stopped in front of them and gave the bike keys to Neil.
Neil turned to a Surprised avni and said " will you go on a bike ride with me avni? ".
Avni screamed happily " yes off course ".
Avni sat in the bike as Neil rode the bike happily.

Avni and Neil were traveling when avni realized that Neil was not going towards the house. What has happened?
" Neil where are you taking me? This is not the way to the house " said a worried avni.
" u are going to police station for work first something has happened. Answer naa Neil " said avni.
" ssh avni be quiet. Nothing is wrong. Wait for sometime " said Neil.

Neil stopped at a place and avni found the place similar. Then she realized it was her school where her childhood passed some of her sweet memories is in it. But why was she here? She looked with a questioning look at neil.
Neil : yesterday you came to know about me more. Today I want to know about you more. I was thinking which place will have ur beautiful memories that's when I called neela maa and she said this is the place where the innocent avni existed. Will you not show me around ur school avni?
Avni smiled hearing it. She took neil every where where she spent her time .
Avni took neil to her classroom and said " look Neil this is my seat. Me and Ali sat together ".
She continued to take him to different places. Finally they reached the ground.
Avni : you know Neil I loved to run. I always used to come first in running.
Neil listened to her carefully.
" I never lost a race but also I got my biggest defeat here " said avni.
Neil looked at her shocked and asked "what happened avni please share with me? " said a curious Neil. Avni : nothing just was like once I also believed my family was normal and it was my sports day I wanted my father also to come and meet my friends as no one believed that filmmaker Ashish mehta was my father. He promised me he will come Neil and I had a bet with my classmate that I will win the race and my father will also come if not I will get her my candy house. "
Neil : what happened avni?
Avni : what could have happened. I won the race but as usual Mr Ashish mehta being expert in breaking promises did not come . I did not feel sad that I lost the candy house or the bet but I was proved liar and humiliation I faced did break my heart first time.
Neil felt to kill Ashish mehta irrespective of the age if he was alive.
Avni noticed Neil's angry expression and said " don't be angry neil my heart broke that day first but it became pieces when Ashish mehta did not turn out in the marriage hall for my mother. U know Neil when I went to ask him. He said he did not recognize me . I started hating all the men in the world neil. But then I saw you u made me realize me that maybe all man are not same. I wish my mom would have loved someone like you Neil or ur father not Ashish mehta "
Neil cupped avni's face and said " trust me avni. History will never repeat ".
Avni nodded and said " I know because this time there is Neil khanna who is not a coward. I trust you ".

"Excuse me " a voice broke the conversation between avneil. Both turned and looked to see a fair looking girl with a man who looked like her husband .
" are you from this school "asked the girl.
" yes she is avni. She studied in this school " said Neil. Neil spilled this words knowing that this may take off the mask of ananya from avni but what would maximum happen ? Dayavanti mehta would try to harm her? He would not let a scratch upon avni till he is here . dayavanti or anyone is not going to hurt her. Why should she hid her name when she is not wrong in anything. People hide because they did wrong but avni was wronged.
The young lady smiled and hugged avni. Avni was surprised.
" avni I am Kia don't you remember. Where is Ali? "
Avni hugged Kia. Who would not like to meet her best friend after so many years.
Avni : he is in his cafe. He finally got his dream .
Kia : who is this handsome man?
Kia pointed out to Neil. Avni : my husband Neil khanna.
Kia : u got married. I am so happy for you avni. By the way he is my husband arjun.
Avni shakes hand with arjun so thus Kia with Neil.
Avni : I never thought I would see you Kia after u went to other country.
Kia : even I never thought. But see destiny. Arjun came for a important work in India and I got reunion invitation from the school. Avni a running race what say? One time I want to try my luck please. Anyway see the school people have organized for the reunion students.
Avni was hesitant but Kia and Neil convinced her.
Avni and Kia took their positions. The running race begin. Avni started to run and was surprised to hear someone cheering for her and turned a second to see Neil cheering for her. She ran as fast as she can. Avni won the race and Kia stood second but was smiling. Avni received a medal and Neil was more than happy.
Kia congratulated avni and "u won the race so I have to return to something ".
Kia turned so did avneil. Then they saw Arjun carrying the candy house.
Kia looked at neil and said " u know Neil I never used to like avni starting . I had once had a bet with her and she lost not because she was not the best because of her blind trust upon someone else. She had given me this candy house. I wanted to return it to her when I was leaving the country but could not as it was her last memory . But today I'm returning it to its rightful owner. She deserves it right. Avni accept it ".
Kia handover the candy house to avni. Avni accepted it. While taking the candy house she remembered the day when she gave it to Kia because her father did not arrive but today she got it because of her husband. Avni was reliving her past with a smile. If once the most important men in her life had made her lose this thing but today
Another one made her gain it.
Kia and avni took selfies. Kia went away not before taking Ali's cafe address from avni .
Avni and Neil was going together holding hands when avni noticed the date and realized it was the same date twenty years before her heart broke because of a man and today her broken heart started healing because of another one. Irony of life or destiny?
