That "new song" story is really a 😊 .
by any chance, did u try to compose any tune, just for urself. or deliberately a new tune.
Yes, a couple of times (the fact that they were pathetic is different 😆)
I also like doing variations on known songs. When I first started out piano studies, we were asked to do variations on "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" - I actually got an A+ on both of my variations! 😆
what is the difference betn "Grand" n "upright" piano ?
and what is the Range of prices.. minimum one ?
Here are some pictures:
Above: A Yamaha GRAND PIANO
Above: an UPRIGHT PIANO
The main differences are:
1) Size/Area occupied - Grand pianos need PLENTY of room
2) The Sound - Grand Pianos are louder in volume because you can actually lift the top cover of the piano and make a louder sound.
Uprights also have small top covers. The HEIGHT of an upright piano tells you about the quality of sound. The bigger the height, the better the sound.
3) Price 😛 (all prices are quoted in Canadian dollars)
NEW Grands cost an average of $10,000-$20,000
NEW Uprights cost an average of $5000-$7000
I'm not sure how much USED Grands cost as I was never shopping around for a grand piano. Probably around $7000 and above.
USED Uprights start at $100-200 (really bad quality, out of tune ones which you will need to get fixed).
One which is tuned well enough ranges from $1000-$2000 (almost as much as an Electric Piano - Yamaha Clavinova)
Have u heard of "hyper-piano" ? 😛 it's a beautiful concept.
No, never heard of it. 😕 Is it one of the Tom and Jerry Pianos which starts getting hyper with a caffeine overdose? 😛
