I played the piano today coz I'm stressed and tired of studying. I have a midterm today.

Songs I played - 3 out of 5 songs I'm learning for Grade 5 now 😊 :

Intrada in C+ (Graupner), Sonatina in G+ (Clementi), Study in A flat + (Lemoine)

in Harmonium.. u first fill the air in a box-type.. then u press a key.. which allow air to escape.. and metal reeds vibrates when air flow over them. 😊

Thanks for explaining the technical aspects of it, Vishesh. 😊 I'm not a Harmonium player and have only seen others playing it.

1. Does ur piano gives mechanical troubles to u, what type ?

Sometimes the keys dont sound right or make an odd sound if pressed in a certain way. Mine is still fairly new, so no real troubles.

2. Did u tried to repair it.

Never ...I'll probably do more damage to it! 😆

3. i read in some novels, ppl call piano tuner, do u also call piano tuner, what exactly does he do ?

Yes, that reminds me, I need to get my piano tuned! 😳

A tuner basically tightens the strings and plays all 88 notes constantly for an hour to make sure the sound is perfect. It can be a pain if you're in the same room with them

A piano needs to be tuned like your car - at least once in a year. Its important or the sound quality gets ruined.

4. i heard abt one piano, where u can feed some type of sheet music or some special sheets..and it plays automatically.. hmmm, hehehe.. saw in "tom n jerry" 😆 .. does that exist ? or is possible ?

Hehe...I remember that Tom and Jerry piece, I think they were playing one of Beethoven's symphonies in a thunderstorm that time 😆

Yes, I've actually seen such a piano with Rolling sheet music, but I haven't seen the keys work automatically. 😆

I think the sheet music moves by a certain tempo and you have to keep the tempo of music. You dont need to bother about turning pages for a long score with such an apparatus.
