Before I type this post I admit that IM Virani is an egoistic , materialistic man . . But I find his parents extremely egoistic and way out of line too ! . The day Devki defeated him in the bidding ...........the old man ........IMV's father called her up .............a girl he didn't even know , and wished her best of luck in breaking his son's guroor , ego ............ . Baa tried to bring Sabina to disrupt a wedding ...........how RIDICULOUS was that ? Is it a JOKE ? What love Love they r harping about ..............he hardly knew her except for few meetings . So ok he got a crush on her , so many people get it and outgrow it ! Why r they acting as if its the end of the world ? . Is IMV so wrong in not wanting a girl who is elder to his son , from another religion , already linked to 3 directors ..............and preferring an academically clever girl with an unblemished character and good family background for his bahu ? ANY parent wud think that way only ! . What isthis big LOVE Vaibhav Virani keeps talking of ............he did not even go out on a date with Sabina for Gods sake ! Suddenly what Love spurted or what .............attraction all feel , but how over hyped is this ? . Baa ..........taunting IMV that bahu will teach u and I will support her ............with a sour face ..........she wasn't even interested in Devki's rituals , just interested in TEACHING her son a lesson even BEFORE her grandson's sansaar began in the real sense ! Two minutes ago she wasn't even interested what will happen to Devki if the marraige broke ................now suddenly she is going to USE Devki to teach her son a lesson ? .

Siddarth ..........another loser ! He treats his innocent wife with disinterest due to his own cowardice and was all set to break his brother's marraige as he believed in DIL and LOVE ! Charulata was right when she told him sometimes other things matter far more than sudden crushes ! How about paying more attention to his own wife rather than thinking of Sabina ?

IMV is the bad guy ............but hey , he loves his parents ! He didnt want Baa to go , and he treats his Dad with respect although his Dad differs with him on many issues .

If these guys dont like IMV this much ......get up and go to MAANGROl or whatever that village is .............why stay there and lecture him day in and out of how sinful it isto be so rich and how its healthy to have mediocre dreamns ?

So IMV likes being rich and powerful ............thats his dream , if u can't respect it , get up and go ! But why stay and instigate all his enemies including his bahu against him ?

I find IMV's family PATHETIC . The only person I like is Charulata who is more balanced than the rest . And Devki of course .

I really lyked ur analysis...nd u r right. If IMV is shown as arrogant nd egoistic, then his parents' behaviour too is not beyond reproach.

Only point dat goes against IMV is dat he wanted Devki as his bahu not coz she is smart, sanskari nd has all d virtues of being an ideal bahu (which btw I find highly over-rated!) but coz he wants 2 settle very old score wid her Nana nd is more interested in making her lyf hell.

Also 2 say dat Vaibhav's luv 4 Sabina was a crush wuld b grossly incorrect. Infact d serial makers didn't drag their luv story too much by showing all those manufactured luv sequences (that other serails r sooo fond of showing) nd indirectly making d audience fall in luv wid dat pair! But dat doesn't mean dat their luv was a crush. D only thing I find not acceptable is dat both Vaibhav nd Sabina easily gave up their luv...I don't lyk unnecessary matyrs!😉

Yes I agree, many things have been shown OTT - ex : Vaibhav's crush on Sabina is being called true love for janam janam.. Its hard to believe its love with such less interaction between them, especially that sabeena fell deeply in love with vaibhav. Sabeena brought out the kind human in him and he may have been deeply attracted to her behaviour and possibly started to fall for her, but why did sabeena fall so deeply in love? She saw vaibhav as a ghamandi guroor wala businessman and then saw a soft side for a little while coz he asked his driver to take kids for a ride, not like he himself did. He said he will invest money for the future in his own group, as far as businessmen are concerned usually the perception is that they make big promises and years later forget, how was it that she believed him?? she didnt know him so well and before he explained she was sure he was out to get the basti wallas. No papers were shown only some writing on a whiteboard...

second - Devki as the ideal lady, who can cook lunch with her own hands for 10-12 people in a short while without sweating, or damaging her make up. Why not show that she took help and supervised?? Apart from rising group she has not been seen working at all... No she's just decked in heavy saree and ornaments. If Vaibhav is going to work as soon as the wedding ended, why not her? isnt she shown to be as ambitious as IMV, jo usko takkar dene ki takat rakhti hai?? to wo bawarchi kyun ban gayi??

To all here, please dont get me wrong, I like Vaibhav-Sabeena Jodi and also Vaibhav- Devki Jodi. personally I like Sabeena's acting a lot she does her part well and looks beautiful with a delicate charm. when in gourdhana cermony vaibhav imagines sabeena, she looks so beautiful.

I would like Devki's character to be a bit more realistic. but that doesnt mean I am against Vaiki... They have a lot of potential to fall in real love and go through ups and downs ( most caused by IMV).

And the self-righteous group of Ba, Dadaji, manhar, etc etc, yeah they are ridiculous a bit. If sonal wants to be a teacher they supported her but if rupal is ambitious and wants to learn from IMV they look down and manhar even tries to disown her.. why so much discrimination between 2 daughters???

Siddharth's acting is good but character needs to be a bit more strong. True he was an artist and creative guy etc but any business does have creative heads etc so why not choose that side and still be a part of business and fulfill ur dreams.. Painting can be kept as a hobby,business men do have hobbies.. I dont think IMV would object to his son being artist as hobby and taking care of creative departments in business.. And making his wife suffer.. Maybe his marriage was arranged and part of some big deal but rajvi seems to actually be simple and loves him

why not see that side and love his wife?? He is a Masochistic character and I think they should change that.

Some points I would have loved to see

1. A bit more elaborate ( but not to the point of dragging) and realistic falling in love between VS. They would make a terrific couple, but the story line is weak. They should have given them a stronger base for their love

2.Realistic Devki

3. Less Self righteous but at times hypocritical group (ba bapuji, manhar family).

4. Old Nirali -- the new one looks good but she is too bubbly to the point that in front of devki she looks like a kiddo, not the same age.

5. Better acting from Vaibhav - frankly he looks clueless at times like he is somewhere else...

6. More Sabeena - Wish she gets a nice person now that vaibhav is takes ( I dont believe in breaking marriages - just like sabeena 😊

Otherwise its a good serial, nice change from old saas bahu sagas

a very good post👏 i dont find imv evil , he is selfish yes and so am i and many other ppl, that does not mean i support his each and every move yes , but he believes he is doing it for his family's benefit, he definately cares 4 his family,

i feel cares 4 devki too otherwise he would never have made her the bahu of his house,

i say this because devki is the daughter of the woman he loved very much

baa and baabuji r too mahaan, , but in these dyas its tough to survive with these values, u have to be smart and cunning, come on its a real world

i like charulata's character very much , she is one of the best character , she supports her husband , takes care of his parents too and is a support system to her chilDREN

and reg vaibhav sabina , i agree completely , i cannot connect with them at all, it was so fast , it never looked real first of all,

i always prefer real romance , not over the top or feeka feeka ones , isiliye i never liked jag anandi in balika vadhu although they r very popular, i preferred jag gauri cos it looks real.

where as devki vaibhav relationship looked completely real , their interacvtions , slowly and gradually their friendship is growing , its so easy to connect with them, i am really looking forward to their story

and devki, she is the best character from this show ,a multi tasker

a perfect woman i must say takes care of his family, still focused on her career , practical yet good, ambitous yet down to earth

Thats not what i meant dear . My point is he HARDLY knew her to be THIS much in love . The way Vaibhav met Sabina ...........guys like him meet hundreds of such women on different projects and issues for even longer periods . To be in 'LOVE" this much ..........the way he is going on about it , is absolutely unreal .

The way they were laying guilt trips on her for going back to her elder Kaka was too much . If Sonal has right to choose her career , so does Rupal .Sonal left the palace of IMV to pursue a mediocre dream .........fine , thats HER choice ! So many people respected it . Similiarly , Rupal left that rental house given in CHARITY by Bhawanji Bha and chose to live in her Uncle's house instead ..........she preffered her own blood over charity by strangers .............anything wrong there ? I dont see it .

The real fact is Sid just likes to cry over FATE . He believes in unrealistic things like falling in love for janam janam in just a span of few meetings and probably bells tinkling in the background . Which great Sundari he was gonna find and land anyways is a question Charulata shud ask him sternly one day . The girl Rajvi is good natured , lovely , and adjusts in all aspects although he treats her coldly . How about growing up , keeping aside teenagerish ideas of LOVE and working on his marraige instead ? Someone shud FIRE Siddarth .

Completely disagree with your post.

1)Vaibhav fell in love with sabina because she wasnt like a regular person he would have met for his projects.He fell in love with her because she was different.She changed him as a person.If you would have scene all their scenes you would have noticed the difference between vaibhav before he met sabina and after he met sabina.She touched the part of his heart that he didnt know existed made him realize what true happiness is .That's why he fell madly in love with her.Unlike his father she didint treat him like an investment.And time has got nothing to do with love.Sometimes you can spent a lifetime with a person and not fall in love because it isnt destined to be like i hope it happens with devki and if you are destined to love someone you will fall in love instantly like it happened with sabina.

2)As far as IMV is concerned if he would have done all this thinking that its best for his son i would have understood but he did all this thinking about his revenge and his benefit.That's the difference and that's what makes him a terrible father.Parents take a lot of decisions that their kids dont like but unlike IMV its for their children's benefit and not their's.And no parent in the world will make their child go through the pain IMV is making vaibhav go through.
