The answer to this statement is very very simple then .😃 I am NOT human then . Infact , I just checked if I had two tiny horns hidden in my hair and a small tail sprouting out from behind . 😆😆😆
What is offensive ... giving an opinion on a story that is perhaps NOT the popular view or jumping to a conclusion on the basis of that opinion that the person who gives that opinion is inhuman and advocates gross materialism ? A person who u don't know the first thing about ...U form opinions about him or her based on the subjective opinions of a TV show ?
If the former is offensive the latter is being judgmental . Some would go as far as to describe it as self righteously judgemental .
But I wouldn't say that to u .😊
Now coming back to the show . The term 'MEDIOCRE" that rankled with u .
Simple again . U understood me wrongly . When I used the term 'mediocre' I meant it as 'ordinary' "day to day' 'simple' .
I wud describe myself as a mediocre person living A mediocre life . I am no Dhirubhai Ambani , or Naval Tata or Bill gates or Sharon Stone . I am not being self deprecating here , but I am fully aware of what I am . An ordinary person . But those individuals that I mentioned ...they went above the ordinary . They did something extra. So in my eyes they are NOT mediocre or ordinary .
So u see , I don't think being mediocre is being faaltu or bad AT ALL .
What I object to , is glorifying the mediocre and pulling someone who has accomplished anything above the average CONSTANTLY down .
In praising Sonal's great and noble dream , they constantly judged Rupal's dream as sinful and materialstic . I strongly oppose THAT . To dream simple was Sonal's choice . Simple Living and High thinking was her dream . Ok . I applaud her . I even applaud her family for supporting her dream and walking out of IMV's home .
But they did NOT try to understand Rupal's dream and even Charu judged her when she came back . They felt she left them for she missed the good life . It was not that . She wanted to be an entrepreneur and she felt her uncle cud be her best Guru . We see even Devki with similiar thoughts . She regards him as a Guru . I dont see ANYTHING wrong with that .
What is noble , what is non sinful r all subjective opinions . Teaching is undoubtedly a noble profession . One of the noblest . But if someone wants to become a businessman , he is not doing something less noble AT ALL .
What I have grown fed up of is the stupid moralistic stand TV serials take in showing ANYTHING wealthy as bad and everything poor as GOOD .
Motilal Master's acomplishments r tomtommed a lot in this serial . Motilal Master did this , he was so Sachcha , He was a veritable Gandhi . Ok , Good . But then I see his son remembering how his father did not have the money to give him a simple ride in the giant wheel in the village fair and how he watched the giant wheel going up and down for two hours , holding his little brother's hand .
If Motilal Master was unaware of what his son emotionally went through , I wud suggest he and Baa take a good look at themselves before praising the poverty ridden life they led as something glorious . If the memories of that poverty affected a child so deeply , they too have a hand indirectly and unknowingly in what IMV became today . Maybe Manhar's psyche was different ...but Ishwar wasn't .
Gandhi was great but Harilal Gandhi had his POV too . He never wanted to become some activist or political leader . All he wanted was to go abroad and study law . That was HIS dream . Gandhi refused permission coz by then his thoughts had totally changed and he was in the freedom movement . But ironically Gandhi HAD gone abroad and studied law . HE had got that opprtunity . The fact that he gave it all up later was his choice . But that same opportunity was DENIED to Harilal . He wanted to be a mediocre , ordinary guy . He didnt want ANYTHING to do with the noble stuff ...that path was too difficult to walk on and he did not have the strength of his iconic Father . He told this bluntly to Gandhi .
I don't find Harilal Gandhi , who later became an alcoholic , so wrong . He did not denounce all that was noble ...he merely insisted that he was extremely SADAHARAN and preferred it that way .
I do NOT find IMV's rejection of Vaibhav Sabina LOVE as inhuman . Not coz Sabina is an actress and now I regard ACTING as a bad profession . No way . But practically speaking ...

A girl from a demanding profession that demands a hell of private time from u
A girl elder to son and already with link ups ...
May not sound so appealing to many parents is my point . A muslim family may look askance at the hindu girl their son intends to wed and a hindu family may feel the same way . A traditional family may raise eyebrows if the girl their son intends to wed is a model . Not that all models r bad or something . They simply have their own fears , own worries , own wishes .
The rejection of Vaibhav's opinion was not coz IMV didnt love him enough . It was coz he thought Vaibhav was a young fool . It was the rejection of YOUTH and the blunder making tendency YOUTH has .
The rejection of Sabina was for purely practical reasons ...Caste , age , profession , the gossip mags . Not to mention that she , rightly or wrongly , back sassed him very challengingly . Throwing HER earning capacity etc in his face . That kind of thing infuriates men like IMV .😆 They r such egoistic giants that it is a sure PUT OFF for them .😆 Devki always respects him ...she doesn't always listen to him but she does not tread on the respect thing ...ever . Smart gal . Poor Sabina only succeeded in infuriating him more .
What i seriously feel is she shud have calmly heard him out , said I WILL LET U KNOW BY THINKING , and gone and told Vaibhav EVERYTHING . Honestly , IMV cudnt have done a thing about it . Once Sabina became Vaibhav's wife , he wud NOT have published the dossier he had on her as even the VIRANI IZZAT wud have been at stake then .
But Sabina panicked . Down went her principles and so called LOVE . She FLED .
Siddarth ...ummm ...Sorry . He has DECIDED to be a loser , thats his choice . If Sonal cud walk out , so cud he . He can still pursue it as a hobby or introduce creative ideas in his business . I have a hunch Devki will show him the way .
And NO WAY is his treatment of Rajvi justified . The profession is forced , the wife is forced is his stand . Grow up ! Do something about it ! The wife is innocent ! And as luck turns out she isquite good ! Which beauty queen did he think he was gonna find ? He too is no James Bond ! A child is at stake ! Look around the world and see some REAL problems around u and u will realisehow infinitely better off ur than them ! Love ur child , work on ur marraige with ur eager to please wife and do something about ur Art too , time isnt lost yet . Do something instead of whining DADDY DIDN"T LET ME ! all the time .
These r my thoughts ! I stand by them . If people find them inhuman , so be it !😃
