Me back with the update.
Part III
R is driving and there is apparent anger on his face. K is a little confused and amused on his antic.
K: Can you stop the car, I need to pick up some flowers chaiji had asked me to get in my way back for the pooja.
R: What do you think I am your servent or what.
K: Listen stop it why did you come here anyway following me.
R: I came to pick''..suddenly he went quite didn't know what to say. He did not have the answer himself.
K: Stop the damn car and go I will come home on my own.
R stops the car and K gets off and walks away in a huff without even looking back.
K is paying to the flower vendor and she turns around after taking her packet and immediately bumps into R. Who was standing right behind her.
K: What's wrong with you I think that heat of India has effected your brains why don't you leave me alone.
She starts to leave R suddenly grabs her hand and literally starts dragging her towards the car. K does not react and follows.
They reach home and R starts to say something but K does not give him a chance to speak She goes straight to chaiji to give her the flowers.
Raj enters behind her.
C: Hey Raj how come you shave come to me straight while you like to change first and then come to meet me.
R: Chaiji I just felt like asking about your health hence I came here.
C: Never mind it is good that you have come here. And a very good thing is that you went to pick up Kranti. It is a duty of a good husband to take care f his wife.
R: Yes chaiji.
Looks at Kranti who is looking at him all the while from the corner of her eyes and smirking.
K: Ok chaiji I will go and get ready so that we don't get late for the wedding. Starts to walk out.
R: Chaiji I will also go and get ready.
He also follows Kranti and chaiji give a smile of a content mother.
Kranti comes to the room and she takes her clothes and goes to the washroom all the while Raj looking intently at her and wanting to start a conversation.
Kranti comes out of the washroom finds Raj standing right there.
K: I thought you came up to get ready.
R: Yeah I am.
The whole family gets together in the hall while Raj is missing ( Busy in his make up)
Kullu: Now where is this Rajbir.
BBR: We told dever ji to be ready in time wonder what has held him.
C: Kranti why don't you go and check on him.
Kranti goes up goes to the washroom door and knocks.
R: Who is it?
K: Everyone is waiting for you downstairs.
R: I am going to take some time.
K: ok
She tells the family members that Raj is still not ready.
Kullu: This guy has become a total English man he takes more time than his wife to get ready.
C: Kranti you come with him later we are getting late. (turning to family) Lets go.
K: Chaiji'..
C: what putter.
K: Nothing you carry on we will join you in some time.
Kranti is waiting in the hall while Raj is coming down. He sees Kranti sitting on the couch looking dapper in a peacock blue suit and a green dupatta in the same tone. He stood still for a while.
R: Where is everyone?
K: They have all left.
R: Why?
K: What would they do their son takes more time to get ready than both the daughter in-laws put together.
R: Let's go or else we will get late.
They reach the venue where K is introduced to all the friends and relatives by Chaiji. She greets everyone with a pairi pauna. Some women commented as to how pretty the new daughter in law is and she is so cultured as well.
A smile crosses Raj's face and he has a happy and proud look on his face listening to his wife's praise.
After a while Raj comes to chaiji.
R: chaiji where is Kranti I want to introduce her to a few of my friends.
C: She was here a while ago must be the other side somewhere.
Raj goes looking for her and he finds her talking to the some one, he is surprised and goes after her. When he reaches there he doesn't find Kranti anywhere. He goes looking for Chaiji and the others in the family and finds Kranti there. He gets confused again, but chooses not to say anything.
They come home everyone retires to their rooms. Kranti is sitting in front of the mirror and taking off her jewellery.
Raj is intently looking at her-
R: Whom were you talking to at the wedding Kranti?
K: No one
R: (Getting angry at her blatant lie) I saw you were talking to some one with my own eyes.
K: Then go and get your eyes treated Raj.
R: Kranti watch it.
K: You watch it Raj. Yes I was talking to some one but it is none of your business, rather anything related to my life is not your business. I didn't say anything in the afternoon so that no scene is created at the market but that does not give you the liberty to cross your line.
R: Kranti I am your husband and I have all rights to know about my wife.
K: (Giving a sarcastic smile.) Oh really husband. Raj we are not husband and wife we are enemies and defeating each other is our motive don't forget that.
R: Enough Kranti you are crossing your limit now.
K: What limit you are talking about you have no rights to tell me anything Raj. So you watch it. And remember that you are not my husband but just an enemy.
Raj Then comes charging towards her holds her hands and pins her against the wall. He is gazing at her face with his dark eyes full of anger. Kranti is struggling to get herself free form his clutches.
R: (Through is clench teeth) I am warning you don't rub me the wrong way.
Kranti is still struggling and then there is a sound *crack* One of the bangles Kranti is wearing breaks piercing her hand; she gives out a faint cry.
Raj suddenly realizing that he has hurt her leaves her and gets aside
R: Sorry!
