Day-4
Mayank gets ready by 7 AM, though he has a very disturbed sleep he wakes up with excitement to pick Nupur first thing in the morning. He did not remember getting excited like this even for his girl friend's. Mayank reaches Nupur's house by 8 AM, he donot know how to call her, he is shocked to core that he is behaving so weird and out of his character. Nupur's one phone call really made the different which both Mayank and Nupur are not ready to accept. Nupur gets ready by 8 AM itself and waits for Mayank with excitement, she checked herself nth time in mirror. Though Nupur's father offers to drop her in his car but she rejects waiting for Mayank. At last at 8.30AM Mayank calls Nupur, she lifts the call as if she is waiting for it and curses for her impatience. Mayank feels happy thinking Nupur is also excited like him to meet. Mayank clears his throat says "I am waiting outside" Nupur "I am coming" Nupur comes out wearing a white chudidaar. She always wears pants and shirts mostly and looking her in white chudidaar Mayank couldnot remove his eyes, she is looking like a fresh flower in white dress and open hair. Mayank sat on his bike staring at her with open mouth; Nupur felt shy and blushes to pink seeing Mayank's look on his face. She adjusted her duppata and hair trying not to blush.
At last Nupur clears her throat and says "chalaa"
Mayank "ha oh hain lets go"
he starts the bike and Nupur sits beside him. They reach their class and start their practice. It went well as if Mayank and Nupur became very much comfortable with each other. They felt excited and nervous when their bodies come into contact but the feel is different, they swinging in each other's arms as if they belong to each other. Their master is impressed with the progress of their dance practice.
After the class both reaches their regular place. Mayank orders for chat Nupur says "you daily eat chat like me" Mayank "not daily but yes I want to eat all the days when I am in India"
Nupur "why are you planning to leave India"
Mayank "yes, I am going to do my MBA"
Nupur feels little disappointed donot know why.
Mayank continues "I need to take over dad's business so I want to read business first before entering the world. I donot want people say that as I am Sharma so I became the CEO but I want to get that seat because I deserve it"
Nupur can see the pride in his look, she feels proud for him. Nupur accept it or not but she knows Mayank never misused his Sharma name for his academics.
Mayank says "and you, what do you want to do?"
Nupur says casually "I want to become teacher and teach nursery kids" eating her chat, she rises her head when she hears loud laughter of Mayank. Mayank stops eating and starts laughing catching his stomach.
Nupur gets angry and stands infront of Mayank with her one hand on her hips glaring at him "what's so funny in that? Why are you laughing? Oh ok, I know as everyone preaches me, you also want to say that I am wasting my engineering degree in teaching kids right. Why should it always like this that we have to do the job based on our qualification? What is wrong if I want to teach kids? I love kids and I always dreamed to start a play school and teach nursery kids."
Mayank slowly stops laughing and says "I am not laughing on you for selecting to be a teacher but I am thinking how it will look while you teach them"
Nupur gives him a confused look, Mayank continues with a smile "will you teach them like hitler, bechara bacha darr ka baag jayenge. Just imagine you as teacher in Hitler avtar stand with a stick, god I cannot stop my laugh imagining the scene"
Nupur keeps a baby face says "I wonot beat them with a stick, I will be very calm around them and will look after them with care"
Mayank "Nupur Bhushan aur calm and caring. Ok let me imagine"
Mayank closes his eyes as if he is imagining. Nupur stands infront of him still glaring at him. Mayank seriously starts imaging Nupur, he sees a girl standing at a school bus talking with two kids who are crying for their mother. Nupur is making different faces to make the kids smile. She kissing them on their teary cheeks, telling them the stories and atlast the kids smiled at her. Nupur's face glowed as if she achieved big prize money seeing the kids smiling at the end. Mayank smiles still closing his eyes, but wait this is not his imagination but a true incident happened around 4 years back. Mayank is recalling the same scene; this is how Mayank first time saw Nupur on the way to his college. Mayank was impressed by the tenderness of Nupur at that time but after reaching college the way Nupur and Mayank came face to face again made Mayank forget the scene and develop a competitive fight between them. After a long time again Mayank remembered the scene which touched his heart in one way. Without thinking Mayank opens his eyes looking into Nupur's eyes says "you will make a very good teacher and a very good mother"
Nupur is shocked to core hearing the sincerity in his voice and a chill run down her spine the way he said 'good mother' Mayank did not tried to correct him or stammered after saying that. Nupur slowly says "thanks".
After that both went to garage and bought Nupur's scooty. Nupur waves her hand and starts going towards her house. Mayank goes on his way. Nupur reaches her house still thinking what Mayank said, a lot of people made fun of her career choice but no one said her that she will make a good teacher and good mother, 'good mother' the word struck in her mind. She felt happy and excited, she felt as if all her blood rushed to her face and made her blush like hell. She took her cell still thinking whether to call or not to Mayank. On other side Mayank is just thinking about Nupur and waiting for her call siting on his study table looking at his cell. At last Nupur decides to call Mayank. As soon as Nupur calls Mayank picks the call for the first ring surprising Nupur.
Mayank "hain Nupur"
Nupur "oh-pohanchage"
Mayank smiles to himself says huskily "yes"
Nupur falls on her bed hiding her face in pillow waits for Mayank to say further as no words are forming on her lips. The silence is the topic going between them. Both want to talk a lot but they are not finding the words. After few minutes Mayank breaks the silence talking something about the dance bring Nupur back to the world but both just started talking generally and they talked for nearly hours without noticing. Nupur is still talking when Mayank suddenly says "Happy Birthday Nupur"
Nupur stops talking and is shocked, she thought she heard Mayank wishing her, she immediately checks the time it is 12 AM and it is her birthday, oh god she forgot completely. Nupur could not stop her smile "how do you know it's my birthday"
Mayank sighs and says "today is the day we have the biggest fight in our lifes, remembered at inorbit mall, you were giving a treat and I came with my friends. Baatoin baatome jagda hogaya tha, I donot know that it is your birthday but I spoiled everything for you on that day"
Nupur remembers "ya, I remembered I was mad at you at that time"
Mayank sweetly says "sorry, when I came to know that I spoiled your birthday I felt guilty and thought of saying sorry but you know-"
Nupur smiles and says "ego haaa" then bites her tongue as Mayank becomes silent for a second, before Nupur can say sorry Mayank says almost surprising Nupur "ya you are right ego, but today I want to confess I really felt bad on that day after knowing that I spoiled you birthday"
Nupur feels happy and says "chalo tum be kya yaad rakoge Nupur Bhushan will treat you on her birthday"
Mayank "wow, I am so excited"
Nupur smiles "ok after rehearsal we will go somewhere you like"
Mayank "sure we will celebrate and I will make it for the birthday I spoiled".
Nupur ignoring her friends who are calling her to wish and talks with Mayank, Nupur switch offs her room lights so that no one knows that she is still awake. At last in the early hours both cut their call to sleep, but sleep is not in their way. The new found emotion is not allowing Nupur or Mayank to sleep. Both are waiting eagerly for the next day to meet.
