Part 5

Hospital

The next day – nupur had stayed back with gunjan inside the ward , dozing with exhaustion on the single chair in the room. Bauji had finally been persuaded by adhiraj to go home with dia and uday. Suhaani after much debating, went with them. Benji unwilling to be alone had accompanied adhiraj to his home.

Samrat had sat outside in the corridors, with mayank next to him.

The morning found all of them waiting in the corridor for the doctor. The doctor came out of gunjans room and told them that she seemed to be the same which was surprising considering that all her tests were normal. They couldn't make out why she was not responding .

No one knew what to do. Finally adhiraj said he would go to the police station with suhaani and benji.

"gunjan bhushan kis ward mein hai?" a voice was heard.

(The whole fight scene with that yash devraj replay..the gang still doesn't know who he is. He leaves saying he will take care of them all shaking his finger at nupur..)

" tum itna chilla kyun rahi ho hospital hain ye." Bauji scolded nupur.

(adhiraj goes to the police station and the gang gets to know that Yash is devrajs brother. But the polititian sweettalks and after arguing amongst themselves , the guys decide to tell him what happened. Mayank calls up and tells him about adhiraj being an eyewitness.)

(The girls- Nupur is with her dad, dia and suhaani alternating between the ward and the corridors..)

(It is evening by the time all this happens and the gang again assemble infront of the doctors chamber. He says the same thing. And they decide to remind gunjan of all the things she likes.)

(the whole part where they are doing all those sweet stuff/ nupur singing kya hua yeh/ nupur and samrat trying to re-enact bhaavesh/ samrat realising that gunjan expected a proposal and proposing to her as well)

(Its night when gunjan regains consciousness. And all of them rush inside the ward. Where she says " di." First. And put out her hand towards nupur. The doctor/nurse shoos everyone out.)

( Hospital-- The next morning- nupur still sleeping next to gunjan on a chair with bauji dozing on another. The doctor comes in and after examining tells them about gunjans not being able to walk. the sisters conversation . bauji hardly figures in these)

(The polititian is busy proclaiming that he would catch the culprit etc., adhiraj s statement is again refused. samrat meets Kulkarni- remember the constable - who tells him in secret that nothing is happening as the bike belonged to some big shots family and there are orders to keep it under wraps for now. All of them go to the college to get help from their collegemates and princi but princi refuses. )

( Hospital--doctor says they can take her home. The gang decide to have a welcome party for her. )

this is more of a ...repetition of what happened in the serial with a few changes- the gang still doesnt know the relationship between yash and devraj. also the gang i cant imagine being so insensitive as was shown in the serial, to celebrate gunjans homecomming when adhiraj was in jail.

and as this ff was to concentrate on the mayur-bauji aspect. i didnt, do too many chnages during this time. dont know if it turned out okay.

PART 6

By evening'Bhushan House

Gunjan, nupur and bauji came back home in their car driven by dia. nupur kept up a constant stream of converstion with everyone . gunjan tried to be lively as well. Dia couldn't be normal. She kept thinking she should have informed the guys about gunjans haalat but there had been no time and nupur was against it. She knew uday would be totally shattered and sam'sammy ko kaun sambhal saktha hai. thank god she had asked mayank to come home. Nupur had messaged him too.

They reached the house and found mayank standing leaning against samrats car with benji next to him. Adhiraj was on the steps and all 3 moved forwards to welcome gunjan home with smiles.

Nupur, dia and bauji got out of the car but gunjan didn't.

"mera help karo." Dia called out to benji. She pulled out the wheel chair along with nupur while benji stared at them uncomprehendingly.

"hold this, its heavy." Dia repeated. Together they brought it to the door of the car and gunjan smiled at benji. He moved back and suddenly understood.

As the girls struggled to bring her out trying all ways with bauji giving them instructions, gunjan felt a tear running down her cheeks. The guys had moved forwards .Her lone tear jerked everyone into action.

Nupur and dia found themselves pushed back . adhiraj bent inside the car and lifted her from inside while benji kept the chair ready and maynk placed his hand on her head so that her head didn't bang against the car . once he lifted her out, adhiraj placed her on the chair. And gunjan who was extremely embarrassed at being lifted by him forced herself to look up thankfully. Another tear escaped her eyes.

Hearing the noise, the other three came out from inside- sam/suhaani and uday.

Mayank kneeled down next to her and his hands on her arm said," welcome back gunjan."

Her eyes filled up again," tumhare liye tumhaare sisters aur friends sab teen din se ro ro ke Mumbai mein bin mausam floods aagaye hain gunjan. Ab tum start karogi tho hum sab usi mein doobh jaayenge." He wiped her eyes and looked at her tenderly.

"waise bhi gunjan tumhe princess ki tarah utaake lek jaane ka mauka milgaya."benji added with a forced smile. Bauji was watching everything with a slight smile.

"nahin benji mein khudh..."

"kal se khudh jao, abhi in steps ke upar hum leke jaayenge." So saying, adhiraj and benji lifted her up with the chair and laughing took her inside followed by the rest. Both nupur and dia felt as if a load had been lifted off their shoulders and with dia holding gunjans hands started walking behind them. It was so wonderful to have people to trust. Suhaani joined them , her eyes showing tears and shock.

Mayank stopped the girls and his hand on nupurs arm, asked them what happened. In broken sentences, they quickly told him what the doctors told them. Feeling helpless , they all walked towards the house.

As they reached the door and walked inside, 2 ppl stood still- samrat and uday. Once gunjan was placed down, she looked at uday and called him," kya uday bhaiyya aap mujhe welcome nahin karenge?"

Uday went towards her quickly and said in a hurried voice," yeh cheating hai gunjan. Tum aisa nahin kar sakthi. Ab main kya karunga? Tum..."

"uday bhaiyya, main sandwich abhi bhi banasakthi hoon. Main bas..." and stopped .

Benji burst a balloon at the same time and broke the awkard pause which had followed. Everyone started laughing.

"samrat beta ander chalo." Bauji who was observing everything called samrat inside . taking him by the arm, he led him inside and as sam continued to stare at gunjan with shock , he added," zindagi mein kab kya hojaatha hain, yeh kehna bohot hi mushkil hain. In mushkil gadi mein mujhe bas yehi khushi hain ki gunjan ko apne doston ka saath hain. Hain na?"

Samrat looked at him and as their eyes met, he felt a lump in his throat and nodded. patting him on the shoulder, bauji walked up to the group .samrat followed him.

"gunjan , chalo. Tum thak gayi hogi. Thoda aaram karlo." Bauji called out to her. Gunjan saw sam behind bauji and though her tears threatened to come again, she held nupurs hand in hers and asked him

," bauji please main kuch dher aur sab se milke phir so jaaungi. Sabse baat kiye hue kitne din hogaye hain." Looking at her pleading eyes, bauji nodded saying," zyaada dher nahin."

Turning to adhiraj who was standing nearby, he said,"adhiraj beta, tumne jo kuch bhi gunjan ke liye kiya, uske liye main tumhe kitne baar shukriyaada karoo. Agar tum nahin hote, tho ...itna sab kuch hone ke baad bhi... "

Adhiraj frowned,"main ne kuch kiya nahin bauji. In fact, main gunjan ko abhi sorry bol raha tha ki main uski help nahin karsaka." And before bauji could reply, he continued,"hum sab dost hain bauji. " his voice slightly stern.

Bauji patted his shoulder, turned away and smiling at everyone walked to the stairs completely ignoring mayank who was standing next to the steps. Bauji had ignored mayank completely throughout.
