@ topic starter thank u for providing this wonderful post i am utmost delighted to find a post with a sensible and a rational discussion on this forum which it most of the time i see lacks - not many posts provide food for thought

i have seen only rare people on this forum make posts which make one delight that they could make use of the grey cells DiyaS, Xaviara, aahana86 figure in them whose posts i have had the pleasure to read today - am on a constant move hence am unable to make many posts but read em when i can and these girls delighted me

now returning to the point of discussion as u have stated yes a actor lives the most glamorous life ever people never can perceive their favorites to be ever wrong even if they are accused of the most horrendous charges

the case of an ouster of an actor by a PH is a far minor issue compare to that i suppose but some people in their blind love and fanaticism clearly fail to understand the difference between reel and real and get obsessed with an actor for a character they play ... not understanding the difference between the two

an actor is a person who PLAYS a FICTIONAL CHARACTER - and a CHARACTER is of course the brain child of some underrated genius who stays behind the camera who never gets credit or appreciation for his work but yes has to bear the brunt of the barbs when a LARGER THAN LIFE FICTIONAL CHARACTER is ousted as if a real person is killed i suppose this is a form of Blind Idol worship cause they dont seem to understand that the actor and character are two different elements

playing a dark character doesnt make the actor a rotten person nor does playing a lead make anyone have A HEART OF GOLD for real - you merely see the face on screen - U NEVER HAVE INTERACTED WITH THE REAL PERSON - who could have a very different persona in reality

sadly many people fail to understand the workings of showbiz... that the show must go on - as one of the finest film makers Raj Kapoor has said - clearly no one is willing to stop for anyone or ever will - it is the way of life as well.

you dont stop living after your loved ones depart nor do u stop eating breathing loving or laughing - when life doesnt happen to stop even after suffering the loss of a near and dear loved one we have known for real and have had the privilege to love them and be loved by them then why should a fictional characters death or exit be so hyped ?

a show is merely meant for entertainment purposes - life of those depends on it whose livelihood is based on it - which shouldn't apply to fans...

a show must be watched with an open MIND to refresh one's spirits after a hard day - must be enjoyed or criticized as needed - but not be made to come as thou your life depends on it - you merely watch a show - even those who say i live, eat, drink, sleep, dream 24/7/365 of a XYZ character they really cant be serious about this - cause here's a reality check - a fictional character doesn't really make your life change nor does an actor frankly care about the lame ways their fans follow - they are here for the fame money and glamor that comes as a parcel of this business - they dont have the time to give a rat's ass even if someone jumps off a cliff to marry em - which reminds me of the marriage incident of the son of SUPER STAR who is himself still struggling under his father's shoes to an ACTRESS who has represented INDIA on INTERNATIONAL platforms - so many crazy guys were willing to die cos shewas marrying him but did she care for em - why even think caring about them when she wasnt even courteous enough to invite her co-star - with whom she worked at the time and had her post marriage first release which was a EPIC HIT

these people live a dual life - the character may be known to us in and out not the actor - so why fight for someone we dont even know for real and blame the people we in fact should thank for having given us them as their characters in the first place truly - i feel sorry for those CV'S

thank u dearest krystal
i have seen some rather insightful posts by you as well and am delighted that you agree with my thoughts as i do with yours
truly i am confused as to where should the lines of sanity be drawn in certain cases as u i to am amused
bhook hartal OMG are u kidding me for some actor - why should anyone starve for em - dont they themselves do this job to make a living
i wish i could too find the parallel dimension such people live in where a day clearly never ends and a 24 hour concept simply doesnt exist as it seems to me , truly this is all for me too very SURREAL

SURREAL is the word here....i guess i could never have come across such a "dimension" as you call it, where a person thinks, drinks, dreams and even vomits of ONE TELEVISION DRAMA!! 😲 To be honest, im not sure whether i would come across such people once i log off the Net.....
Lol, that "Bhookh Hartal" was a comment made in an Ironic tone, i din't mean it literally LOL 😆...but what people actually DO for the sake of Actors, it seems only THAT (B-H) is left to be done. Given the chance, these deluded blitzered people on here may not hesitate to do even that, i think.
By the way, nice to meet you and thanks for agreeing :)

dont you think using words like 'deluded blitzered people' for the forum members a bit too harsh?

@ Rinky: Im sorry if i offended you...that wasnt the intention as you must've understood....i was only trying to make a suitable statement on what i see as "out-of-proportion" reactions from Over-zealous fans... Just come to think about it, what impression do you form in mind about someone who claims to "be unable to survive without MJHT" and ALSO claims to be "calling up the PH 24*7 to press for Rati's entry"??.
On reading such comments, aren't you forced to wonder about the kind of world those people must be residing in where all else comes to a STOP because of a 30-minutes entertainment Masala Programme?...Do you not find all those Surreal? I surely do...and to an OVERWHELMING degree. I wonder if these poor pre-teen/teen people have any lives at all besides this; i dont think this sort of a Petition/Sign-up frenzy is kicked up even for Jessica Lall/ Ruchika cases. 😕
The border between sanity and insane; REAL and Fictional comes to a right halt when you see all these on brief flips through the forums.

Umm i dont know krystal....How much who does what for real life issues...You may never know....Personally i have worked for underpriviledged children with my mother and I also know of some forum members who have done voluntary social work too...But when you do make a comment about people you should be a little more careful....

As much as i know...most of my friends here are matured people with a career and family. Their lives dont start with or end with a serial. But maybe they have some reason to fight for an actress whom they love and respect.. Who knows.

A lot of fans who say I will die without MJHT or similar stuffs are rather rare but I guess they are around more so you see more of them. Obsessive compulsive disorder is a problem with a lot of people and unfortunately they attract a lot of attention too.

Its not correct being judgemental....I try not to be so...So irrespective of being a fan of rati i never contributed much to the discussion...kept it neutral...I do know people who are also fond of her who have kept silent. The entire concept of thinking that fans are by nature immature and joobless is somewhat wrong. we do have a life too....

Its sad that people find our love for someone we look up to as obsessive love. we Like someone, and respect someone thus the initiatives. Does it hurt you or anyone? I guess it doesnt. I have told the topic starter to share some knowledge of the how the PH/Cvs system works. It seems she doesnt know clearly so I let the topic.

At the end of the day we all are selfish people who needs to eat and sleep. Its sort of unnecessary to give us unsolicitated
advice.Rest is upto you to decide.

@ reaa brilliant post........god it was a treat to read such a sensible perspective after a long time in this forum.......i cant agree more to each perspective u have painted out here......i in all my 29 years cud nt have imagined that i wud get hooked to two reel life characters the way i am today.....but a major portion of this is due to ur chemistry with like minded people in this forum,,.......sometimes the scenes we see are not even that beautiful but the perspective some wonderful writers in this forum bring makes the scene much more beautiful than the original act that u wud have seen on the screen.....i can say for sure i liked the couple that I saw on TV and it is thanks to CVs who conceptualized it.....no doubt they lose plot over a period of time.....coz everything has a shelf life and when u try to extend it beyond its due date u wud for sure see the consequences of monotony taking the upper hand.....but the reason I find CVs having done a gud job with this gamble they have taken is coz of their ability to break from the wretched spider webs they had built around themselves and had the guts to break the expectations of viewers....of course this is the biggest risk a PH cud have taken whose show was once ruling the channel.....no doubt am sure the season still wud have been as intense had gunjan died instead of nupur coz all he actors r wonderful at their job and needless to say when they are given a intense track , the laurels of these actors has to climb several notches which all the four lead actors are capable of.....sometimes the risk they take to fight the boredom of their own brain child is tough for them as well.....but if its a way to achieve the next milestone in d serial which has been in the grinding for last two years, then it may be worth the effort.....as i said the effect and criticism wud have been the same had any other lead died and it being a female lead definitely has paid off well...whilst the fans are fighting the injustice there is a curiosity factors d fans ourselves raise to the unknown population....coz some in the crowd wud want to knw what d hulla hoo is all about.....may b i wud have been one such phangirl as well if gunjan had been killed😆😆😆....n theres nothing to say they wudnt bring back an actress of rati's caliber coz that wud be another milestone n it wud have held gud for any other lead.....much as we may not like d kektaish ways of the world.......but it just succeeds in bringing n raising the curiosity levels of the audience in a d anticipation of whats to come next........sometimes its too tough to detach urself but not at the cost of losing ur own individuality or reality n sanity we posses is what i keep telling myself😆😆😆

@kyrstal....brilliant replies n insights u hav given in this post.....must say i was one of those phangirls who fought intensively for monaya😆😆....sometimes when we relate to a char we forget to detach ourselves to the actor....the love for the char automatically melds n extends to the actor as well....n when all u see is rosy good on the screen , y wud u stop to think if my favr is good natured person offscreen....in glam world wat u see is wat u believe rest is hear say n gossip😉.......media thrives on celebrating these artist using the glam quotient they can extract out of their fan following...........yep i hate yellow journalism......but its too tough to expect media to have ethics when unethics is what brings them business.......😆 ......imagine if sach ka samna wud have been a hit if it dealt with small time non sensational lies that are part n parcel of human life....it came under the governing bodies purview only for the sensational illicit affairs n criminal brains of human beings it cud unearth....i must the audience loves sensationalism much as we detest it when it comes to our own favorites,.....n of-course i include myself in all these pathos😆😆😆....but truly this post has been rocking in helping many of us see a mirror image of our acts thanks to our undefinable love for the reel life characters over real human beings......in shilpa's term🤣 coz it helped me see the crazy heights i have climbed myself in the name of fanticism once in my other life😆😆😆

*disclaimer......i didnt mean to pinpoint at ne1 but myself😆😆....so pls dont take it to ur heart....if any of u feel compelled to do so, be my guest🤣

thank u Krystal even i have not seen this kind of a "dimension " outside the net world where i suppose majority of the fan base exists a handful of ppl on a forum do not make or break a show
clearly and hence i fail to understand what do they believe will a little cribbing over here do a production house is not gonna listen to them

and as for bhook hartals i know it was just a sarcastic take i replied in the same tone

pleasure meeting you dear

@ meens1981 thank u

it is a pleasure to know such members as on this forum who clearly understand what looking at a larger picture means - that for a show not only actors production house are responsible as well
they work equally in fact i suppose more hard cos actors are cast after a story is conceived a concept created which clearly means they may be suitable for the part they may play on screen may won over the hearts for their wonderful skills but not all credit is due to only them just being the face of a product doest allow one to claim the ownership of it as well - they are merely the endorsers of a product someone else creates

as for the gamble u have mentioned any and every show is a gamble for all PH's be it a small one or a large fictional or non fictional as one never knows what may work and what may not some of the biggest production houses to have produced duds

i can recall balaji the biggest tv PH of this country producing a show called sapne tere mere or something similar years back it was grand and majestic later it bombed and shut shop in less then 6 months and later the set for the same show was seen repeated in numerous k shows - i guess they tried to make up for the losses by the same KZK is an example of which

so if they can create duds then the smaller and new ones imagine the risk they take while launching a show itself and with rank newcomers too- agree they do this for budget as well as def casting established actors may cost them a pretty penny which they may not afford so a season 2 of an already established show is a risk of course but it has an advantage above a rank new one - a well established audience and fan base which a new one needs to create from the scratch definitely which is why the risk isnt as big... as per me

i guess the stagnating storyline clearly needed a twist and a leap is a popular one these days - which is marked by something which has to be shocking yet gripping on counts of Gunjan dying being as effective i am sorry i disagree

see the show's twist needed the 3 lives to change and how would her death have affected mayank majorly ? he would have been a mourner but would have had no immediate blow - which Samrat has by reason of guilt hence making the story more gripping and yes sensible cos guilt is a great driving force and why would gunjan's death have made mayank guilty ? perhaps if he had driven a car ..... which he didnt

i understand an actor cant be separated from a character if well played but a line has to exist between being a fan and fanatic and as Krystal mentions using a colorful vocabulary is clearly not a way to display one's affections

and as for the tactics used to bring back dead characters i do not support them on any show please even if my favorite is killed

as i value reasoning and sanity think this may give me a chance to see my fav in a new light in a new show zombies on a non horror show is clearly not my taste please - when someone dies - a real person or a fictional character - i believe in the use of 3 words - REST IN PEACE....
