Hey Aahana š¤
Really nice topic sweetheart (as usual). I'm more of a silent reader and admirer of ur topic these days, coz u say everything so beautifully, that i don't know wat to add in them.
In this post, i'm writing, coz I see Neil from a different angle (which i know most of u will not agree wid). First of all, i'll completely agree wid u all, that like everyone, Neil also IS NOT perfect, and he can't be so too. So, it is very unfair on him, if we say that Neil is a perfect man.
Some of my friends here think that I'm being harsh on Neil. But believe me, despite trying numerous times to change my pov, i end up with having the same.
I agree wid u all that he's a nice, decent and mature guy and is a thourough professional. I also understand that he has lost the ONLY love of his life, and that too forever. Gunjan was his inspiration, his reasone for existence, the love of his life. He always dreamt of living his entire lifetime with her, but things took a complete U-turn for him and all his dreams shattered when he came to know of the reality.
Having said this, i believe that watever Neil said to Sam in last night's epi, was something that raised my suspicion for him. The ONLY thought that kept on, and still is, haunting my mind is, that WHY did he tell Sam about his feelings. Neil knows that Sam and Gunjan LOVE each other. He knows, and he has seen that SG can't stay away from each other even for a second. Then why did he open his heart, and told his feelings to Sam? Sam isn't his friend, his confidant. He is the boy who loves Gunjan madly and he's the boy who Gunjan loves madly. Even for a second Neil didn't realize that wat consequences this might have on Sam-Gunjan's relationship, esp. when he claims the latter to be the only friend and love of his life? Is he in a way (indirectly) telling Sam to get out of his way?? Wasn't this a bit immature behavior on his part??
@green
Exactly ayesha thats what i meant...doesnt neil realize how will gunjan feel???? he himself has lost love...has bore the pain of losing love...does he want even gunjan to lose it??? does he want even gunjan to go thru the same pain????cant he be happy that atleast gunjan has the love of her life with her????
Another thing, what right does Neil have to advice Sam that he needs to grow up?? Sam has his own life and he is free to live it the way he wants to. Neil telling him, that u're immature and impulsive, didn't go for me. If he's immature, so what??? Questioning Sam means that Neil is doubting Gunjan's choice and her sensibility. He knows that Gunjan is a sensible girl and that she will never fall for anything wrong. So, how can he even think that Gunjan made a mistake by selecting Sam? And how much does he know Sam, about SaJan's relationship?
@red
OMG ayesha u r speaking my mind and heart out...exactly he earlier also insulted gunjan's sensibility by saying that sam isnt perfect for her...what does he mean...gunjan cant decide that who can be a gud life partner for her??????why does he think that he knows gunjan the most...and only he can know n understand her like that???he still isnt able to beleive that someone can love gunjan except him...he thru his ways conveys that he regards gunjan as a girl whom ppl can hardly love truely...and ppl r comparing him with our sammy????š²
Sorry Aahana, this post of mine seems to be more of a questionnaire, but i tell u i'm damn confused abt these things since yesterday (especially). I'm saying all this, not bcoz i have anything against Neil. These r the things that have confused me and i'm unable to find answers to these, so, i thought of sharing them wid u all. Mayb, ican get an answer from u guys.
I'm sorry if i've offended anyone. its purely my pov. And i'm expecting a lot of bashing after this post.
Lastly, and very importantly, plzz don't feel that i am against this track. I'm NOT AT ALL against it. Infact, its such a beautiful and touching track and wid every passing epi, i fall more n more in love wid it. It is one of the most strongest tracks of MJHT and has soo much depth in it. The way CVs r handling it is truly commendable. And the main credit goes to MoNaya for such splendid performances
Once again, a lovely post Aahana. U rock sweetheart!!!.
Love,
Ayesha
