he didnt even one time realize that when gunjan will come to know this...what will she feel??? it will only add to her tensions as she will feel guilty concious for him.If we remember when gunjan was present in such a one sided love condition...aahana the girl literally "TERRORISED" her feelings coming out yaar..she used to beg nupur that pls dont let my feelings out else sam will feel guilty...else sheena will be hurt...thats what i call as caring for the feelings of ur beloved and all those who are important in their lives.
u know why did she used to do all this...bcoz she not only did that for sam but she wholeheartedly respected sheena's feelings as well.her main aim was that things always remain fine between sam and sheena thats why she always used to tell sam that u shud try to understand her.She never saw thier relationship as i shud compare how sheena behaves with sam and is her love CORRECT for him or not!!!

but whats neil doing????he hardly cares abt sajan's love...for him their relationship is just coz of gunjan.thats in my view not true love...when we r truely in love we always not only love n respect that person but always those ppl as well whom they love...just like gunjan did for sheena...she used to give utmost importance to sheena's feelings...her emotions...as well..but neil is hardly bothered abt any such thing.

If someone has seen the movie singh is king...there comes a scene in the movie aahana just before the teri ore song...where akshaye who is madly in love with katrina says to ranvir shorey that "she is one in a million" and if she loves u it means "u r one in a billion"....and thus both of u shud try to workout ur relationship...thats beauty of true love...where even if the girl/guy u love fights with their beloved...what u wish is that they r still together always...u try to explain to them each other's pov as a true friend...arther than pointing out mistakes that complicates their relationship further.

but neil he always saw sajan from a "testing eye"...he never had this in his mind that ok if there is some problem between them this happens in every relationship and they will sought it out...he always sees it as..."sam and gunjan are not gud together and sam doesnt deserve gunjan".

simply putting with an illustration aahana...lets take an illustration and see how two differnt ppl will raect in it:

ONE:
a guy see the girl he love and her beloved walking on a road...and suddenly he sees that a car is coming to hit the two..seeing so that person will jump in front of the car to save his beloved from the car.

TWO:
as the guy sees the car he will jump to save not only his love...but her love as well even if that takes his lyf...coz for him not only his own love but the person she loves truely and she cant live without too is equally imporatant!!!

mind my words guys...if the same wud happen with neil he will jump to save gunjan but if this wud have happened with gunjan she wud have jumped to save not only sam but to save sheena as well...bcoz she knew that SAM LOVES SHEENA.

THATS THE DIFFERENCE....!!! For neil its all abt just gunjan....and he is hardly bothered abt anyone else.This isnt love coz he simply has no respect for the person whom his beloved loves...!!! is this his love for gunjan????i find myself confused...how come ppl are saying that neil is a better lover than sam...when neil doesnt even understand the basics of LOVE???

@yashi beautifully explained ... and with that example it reminds me gunjan's recovery track where sam did put his life in danger to make gunji walk and gunjan too did not think twice before putting herself before sam in trying to save him.. thats where the main difference btn gunjan, sam and neil's love comes... sajan put each other before and neil puts himself..

The fact that during the audition he did not notice that SG were very close ,& it was poss that they could b in love or dating proves the fact that he was confident that there could b any one in Gunjan life... nw it may b because of 2 reasons ... either he is toally obsessed with that childhood love & hence did not except Gunjan growing up & mayb falling in love with someone else... or he was so confident that no one could fall in love with some one like Gunajn... who was also a GEEK when they were children
If u ask me... both these facts r disturbing ... it somehow shows that Neil is not normal .. ... he has some psychological / personality disorder, due to which he is unable to face reality .....& this makes him very dangerous
Why am I saying that is because he has not moved with time, where Gunjan was concerned.. for him time stopped when they parted as children ....

.As a child he could not make friends nor can he do so nw... the fact which he himself revealed to Gunjan .... this fact highlights his underconfidence in himself under the layers of success & fame. May b that's why he never had the courage to express his feelings to Gunjan
& that's why he got rid of his glasses & changed his name to make his place in Mumbai
Another thing which disturbes me about Neil is that he is too controlled.. even when he came to know that Gunjan loves somebody else , he did not break down or loose his control... this is not human..... it is not poss to b so mature .. this shows that some thing is wrong some where. He reminds me of OCEAN ... the calm water hides lots of deep currents & secrets....
Another thing is that .. according to him Samrat is not right for Gunjan Just after seeing their first fight .. he came to this conclusion ... come on all couples fight .. it's no big deal... so acc to him .. he's only right for Gunjan!!!!!!!!!!!! another disturbing fact
As u rightly said that there are lots of layers & complexsities to this character.. these kind of people are very unpredicible & EXTREMELY private.... if u notice his each step , his each word, his each action is very calm , calculative & controlled. He give an impression that as if he is walking on a rope.. where each step he takes is very controlled, thouightful & very calculative.. which makes me wonder what he'll do next & how dangerous he can get .. or far will he go to acheive his goals!!!!!!!!!!!!
One thing for sure .. he will not give up on Gunjan. I feel that through the script he is manipulating & brain washing Gunjan.. thus increasing Sam's fear & creating distance between SG.. His confession to Sam mayb voluntary ( in that case there is a plan ) or mayb under pressure & or stress ( that means he is about to show his true colors )... both the cases will b interesting to watch..............
there has to b some motive behind his decision for outdoor shoot... what is it .. we will know in a day or two ........
what do u think .. Am I on the right track or am I getting paranoid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
but , seriously after writing this essay .. I'm feeling scared for Gun & Sam's safety ... I know this track will have happy ending .. but that journey & this suspence is killing
