Awwwww Sabah, God has blessed you with a beautiful heart Sabah.😳

The breeze together with the warmth keeps me so near to nature and so many beautiful creations, I just feel wonderful when I read outside but not in too much heat.

Ugliness, yeah I agree, the feeling which it left just didn't make me feel happy or anyway positive about it, I doubt if it did for M as well in any way at all!

I agree, Shilpa aunty in this moment as well, was as always a guiding light and for both, she being Mayank's mum, has never ever made N feel like an outsider and never taken his side or even her side. 😃 I agree no interfering in baccha's conversation😆.

I am really scared of sitting on the roller coasters too Sabah, Life indeed is a roller coaster Sabah, as rightly pointed out.

Mayank has never belittled them and neither can ever think of doing so, so true its way easier to impart springs,😳 and even impart joy and happiness than sadness. As people very warmly welcome the joy but not the sorrows.

Much loveeeeeeee,

Senny.

Much loveeeeeeee,

Edited:Sorry Butterfly, I did miss your edit. Thanks for the pm I would have hated to miss out in receiving all the heartfelt above mentioned love!😳

Sabah may God's love and protection always be with you, Amen. For all of us!

You have been blessed with a beautiful soul whose words, even the most simple ones never fail to touch our hearts. I was reading your post today and Sabah it made me so sad, I am so sorry, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't let that gloominess go away. How i wish there was some magic which could be done. 😭 Please if there is anything, please let us know, we can work upon that rainbow...plant seeds for a blossoming tomorrow...

At many a times I feel very lonely and especially when I met Liz's mum here in New Castle I realised how beautiful it is to have a mother, no matter what I do, there is this void in my life, people are so lucky to have mothers. 😳The kind of warmth and love they give, there is nothing like that. When I read your two beautiful steps I felt more empty. The way you write always leave me so touched and so fulfilled as they give me a beautiful vision of life. But today I felt incomplete I don't know why Sabah. Possibly because I didn't the kind of warmth from a mother, which is almost a basic part of everyone's life. These days usually I feel like this. I am not going to pry, I don't need to know why. All I need to ask is where do we go from here? Before that, i would like to add, I am SHOCKED, you are so well rounded. I would never have guessed that you were deprived. Somewhere, something filled the gap. As for the warmth... how you choose to move forward is what counts...like Mayu and Shilpa Aunty, we DO NOT need to know the details of their difficult past, we just need to know how they dealt with it.

one of my favourite quotes Gandhi said 'you MUST be the change you want in this world'

Shilpa Aunty, is a light for us. She being a single mother, like so many of your pointed out, not seeking pity nor pitied. Have you heard of Alison Lapper, British artist, without arms and shortened legs, the result of a medical condition called phocomelia. Anyway, she had a baby...they made a documentary on her and there is a scene where she is chastising him...he was around five at the time...so he turns to her and says 'if you can catch me then you can stop me'....pause....they both start laughing. The inspiration of seeing this woman with no arms and legs, who was in a hosptal for first 19 years of her life...raising a child...she learnt to used her mouth and feet to do the everyday tasks we take for granted.

Sorry, I had a point...We do need MORE light nor things we only need to appreciate, make best use of the light we get given. Like you obviously did.

Don't flutter too hard, Butterfly, the next breeze is only a flap away...This is the nature of our hearts, they revolve from light to dark, like this planet we inhabit...

I am so sorry for my rambling, I cannot accept your apology as there is NO need for it! coming to the beautiful posts, starting with Step 5, "Stress busting". It sure is true the way a mother can take away the stress nothing can man. A sweet word or two, that I trust you son and I know you will do so well can make such a huge difference. Furthermore as you so correctly pointed out that a mere touch and a mere hug means so much.I know people who haven't been touched in years by their children. No matter what history, you cannot deny that nurturing in your first formative years.

It is true every mother desires to safeguard his or her child from all the trials in the world, regardless of their intensity. Sabah here Shilpa Aunty though a part of her wants to protect him but what she does is not save him from facing these trials or trying and hide him away, she wants him to face each and every trial on his own. Truthfully, I can say that the worst thing that ever happened to me, is the best thing that happened to me, for the change it brought.

She wants to be a part of the battlefield and fight independently. But for this, she has armed him really well and is still doing it. With every new situation or problem faced by him, she is not there to just hug him but is there to give him the courage to fight and move on. He can never quit, he doesn't have a choice. Having no choices here is what makes a man do something worthwhile in his life, same goes for each girl out in here.Beautiful! 👏 Very well said. I think i see a return of your fighting spirit, a new day has already dawned for you.

Sabah each stress, one of schooling, anxiety, exams, friendships and overburdening burdens was soo well described Sabah. I especially liked the way you showed how shilpa aunty was there at each step helped M deal with this tension or stress, but she only helped him, he had to deal with it on his own, Shilpa aunty just gave him the courage and confidence, rest was his game and his war Also, she lets him makes his own mistakes. She never rebukes 'i told you so,' or 'if only you had listened to me!'

I agree, our biggest competitor is we ourselves and fighting with ourselves isn't easy neither is it too hard, especially when we have such an inspiring mother to back us up on almost each and every step.I will say it again. SHe is my role model. If I achieve even one percentage of her wisdom, I will be truly blessed.

God bless you Sabah.God bless us all.

Your posts had so many beautiful points, I am sure I wouldn't have been able to cover all the points you touched.I am sure I missed much. I only mention those things that I myself perceived, therefore there are spectrum of light left.😳

Step 5 ' Stress Busting!

Every mother desires to safeguard her child from the trials of this world, from their first flu to their first fall; all mothers remember that heart rending pull the first time they left them with another, their little hands grasping at yours with that desperate look of 'will I ever see you again.'

Every mother knows that life's trials are not only inevitable but essential part of your child's life. We are like the S.U.N. within that turbulence providing soothing, understanding and nurturing calm.

I agree completely sabah!!!!! Each mothers r like god's angel whom god has send with a duty to protect their child!!!!!
Every mother learns the most appropriate manner to relieve the burden of daily stress; balms such as Touch, Reminder, Alleviation, Diffusion and Distraction.

wow! nice ! lets go through each of the points here!

{Lesson 5 by Mayank. With the advancement of technology comes the degeneration of civilisation. By ignoring our heritage we become estranged from our legacies. Do not look for wisdom in the lifestyles of modern popular personalities but rather seek it in the characters of our ancestors, beginning with our parents, our mothers.}

arre! that's my theory.i think my mom is my idol coz i hv seen with my eyes what she has done or how she has done! I don't need to read story books to find my idol!!!!

As a child when you fall, whether physically or emotionally, there is no balm like the soft caress of a mother's touch, the strength of comfort of those tight hugs, the coolness of her hands upon your burning tear soaked face; rejuvenating your tired soul. As an adult, it is the same'

Incident # 1 ' The stress of schooling!

The opening of this scene is as fantastically invigorating as the calm Shilpa Aunty infuses into tired and fed up Mayank. Note the change in Mayank's demeanour from the beginning to end of Aunty's stress busting! She soothes away all the accumulated stress through touch. She pulls his ear, thanks him by patting his head, manoeuvres him to take his place for Champi Time! Followed by that lovingly comical shove off the chair and finally that enveloping hug.

I love the manner Mayank slyly observes the coffee, contemplating how and when it found its place within the books he was studying.

Her 'tongue in cheek' humour distracting him away from the tension of his hardback books.

"Coffee beans tera ye ehsaan zindagi bar nahin bhoolenge"

"Tandi hai"

Shilpa Aunty doesn't miss a beat, she is on top form,

"Very good! Dhamaag tandi ho jaiga"

Champi Time! The multi tasking mother that she is, whilst she massages his head, she reminds him that life is beyond books, he distracts his mind away from theories with jokes of imaginary library dates, diffuses his stress by telling him that he has no real competition, and alleviates his icy indignation, 'Mere side ya Nupur's?' melting it into a cool waterfall flowing upon his wearied soul by affirming what his heart already knows'she will always be on his side.

Here i feel shilpa aynty like all mother truly understand even a mayank sharma can be stressed out before the exam . that chumpy thing.mayank will never admit , but i think he love that..coz he .need to hv motherly touch to gain his confidence!....& the hug was conveying the msg I m always ur side........every child seek this. Shlpa aunty was just conveying it his maaynk yet another time.

Incident # 2 ' The stress of anxiety

She understands the root cause of his anxiety and diffuses the escalating countdown to an imminent meltdown.

I love the use of the 'prop'; the newspaper as a subtle distracting reminder that we are but one soul living through our troubles amongst five billion other souls and their troubles; that despite our insistence upon dwelling upon our woes they are comparatively not even news worthy.

She proffers another softer viewpoint which declares a truce and hopes for a friendly and peaceful future.

here shilpa aunty's mentioning nupur each time was just a try to show mayank his real reason of anxiety, coz cure can only be done after identifying the disease na! she gave him clue .that may be whats bothering him is that mayank & nupur not friends but his heart once accepted her as a friend....& that is why he keep thinking abt her.........mayank needed that clue to seek the routes of his stress !

Again the next morning, the use of that 'prop'.

"Kya hua?"

"Kal ki news se pooch raha hai, kya hua?"

"Are! utt kar dekh, nahi news bhi ban chuki hai."

Reminding him that as the world moves on from its sorrows and dilemmas so should he.

wow! i never think of it like that. if u c all the mothers of the world wants their child to wake up early in the morning!May be one underlined reason for it is that in this fast moving world they just don't want their child to start the race for a better tomorrow late & let other ppl leave them behind.

Choosing to ignore all of Shilpa's Aunty's distracting jokes and diffusing props, Mayank seeks calm from the balm of touch; resting his head upon her shoulder he energizes himself in her motherly aura.

Incident # 3 ' The stress of exams.

She nurtures his weariness through alleviating some of his burdens.

She reminds Mayank that he is not alone, that whatever trial besieges him, she is standing there beside him, supporting him, through the simple gesture of waking up early to make their breakfast. As we all know, as well as Mayank, she too only slept after his head hit his pillow.

Oh!shipa aunty's breakfast dhamki was really alarming for maaynk na!😆 but i guess he always get the msg dhe tried to say that she is ready t support him all the way through!!!!! But i can't help but smile the way he said ."got it" here.😆such a kiddo!!!!!!😳

Why is it that no one can resist nudging Mayank's nose?.....😆.. i guess it his luck ....

She enters the room, going through a checklist of things to be done, remaking his bed after his rushing around. The son nurtured by the 'sun' is now full of life and the 'Sharma Smart Alec Sarcasms.'

Incident # 4 - The stress of 'friendships'

She nurtures his resilience by reminding him the routes we pursue are as important as the results. That our competitors are not our enemies; and that our enemies are not our competitors.

Shilpa Aunty is the queen of tongue-in-cheek whose style causes her to become the recipient's beloved. She diffuses the tension between Mayank and Nupur by treating her like a guest, reinforcing the above point to Mayank, that despite the inherent rivalry in her challenge, she isn't his rival but peer if not friend. "Kitni pyaari ladki hai, hai na?"

Again that comical shove of her obstacle, Mayank, to her would be ally, Nupur.

I love the scene where they both beg her to stay as if both laying claim to her. 😃.me too.as if both want her to be there in their side in the battle!!!! even though nupur is not her own child ,she managed to makwe her feel like that with warmth na!

Classic Shilpa Aunty sense of humour, I will let the ingenuity of the words speak for themselves'

"Aap dono shahid bhool raiha ho ke mein abbhi tak yahin karr raha ho"

"Toh, karr rai kyu ho, beh to, baatein karro, aap na ghar samjo" 😆 😆 😆 loved it

The ironic movements within her enchanting melody are just sublime. Another aspect I love in this mother ' son relationship is that as soon as you are wiping the tears from laughing with them, you are overwhelmed by tears at their loving bond.

Aunty's golden advice which I have always tried to live my life by; only ever compete with yourself.

"Love you'" embarrassed at his own folly, unable to resist that irrepressible love overflowing throughout his being, Mayank is then reminded why he will forever be his mummy's little boy.

Just when you think your heart has drank in enough; Shilpa Aunty pre-emptive mimic,

"Maa, bhalo ko haath nahin laga na!" leaves your hidden thirst quenched.

Nupur is once again the recipient of Shilpa Aunty's nurturing of Mayank. She becomes the overburdened 'victim' by the surprise of unexpected new fruits within the same season.

oh! that is what i call true shipa aunty philosophy..spread love to all..even to ur enemy.......she supported nupur with all her heart out , even though she knew she is competitor of her son.& taught mayank also this valuable lesson that it is not a battle ground....so he should just let his anger & jealousy keep aside form this! & be himself!!!!

Incident # 5 ' The stress of overburdening burden

She understands that extra curriculum activities for Mayank are another reason to beat the books; she tries to distract him with the discords of his life.

I love the manner in which Shilpa Aunty grasps hold of the opportunity for Mayank to leave the sanctuary of his private library and thrusts him towards the 'ajeeb' voiced girls! Even when he circles back and taints his one dimensional intent over the opportunity, Shilpa Aunty searches for another distraction to pre occupy his thoughts. Mission succeeded, her proof being she is granted access to all areas and proved beyond a doubt by the fact he wakes up in his bed and not upon his desk.

OMG! I just remembered i didn't used to watch MJHT at that time.but this scene i hv watched while switching channels & after watching it i decided to follow this show! & started watching it from new year party!!!!!.oh! u brought back such sweet memory..i loved shipa aunty just then & there coz i feel she is a super cool mom.she understand the need of socializing ,having friends in the life of her child.& encourage him too!!!!!

sabha! im really sorry for such late reply.but finally i m happy that i posted here.😃.......i will try to write my thought abt step 6 too!

Step 6 ' Expect the Unexpected!

As a mother you must always be prepared to mask your shock at the absurd and incredulous discoveries your child's adventure will thrust upon the both of you. You will learn to hide those horror stricken facial expressions as your child surprises widen in scope and depth. The shock will still take years off you but you will begin to hide it better.

However one thing should never surprise you; the love your child returns to you. it shouldn't surprise u , i believe mothers should never fail to share their happiness they feel from it...may be becoz they don't show it to their child & that is why often the child failed realize the importance of returning their love!

{Lesson 6 By Mayank. Most people have heard of IQ however without EQ you will never reach perfection. IQ is you ability to learn and understand new situations; EQ is your ability to manage and cope well with new situations. Your IQ is given to you from nature and helped along through books. Your EQ is the nurturing within you and learnt from your mother. One is a means to hoards of money the other engenders love.}

There was a time when MJHT used to surprise me; even amongst their loop-de-loops. I love the fact that they use a place of beautification to create a scene of ugliness.

Shilpa Aunty must have breezed into the salon with an expectation of relaxation only to be confronted with a parent's biggest shock; that their child has strayed onto a very wrong path. Despite her apparent discomposure, she expresses concern with composed words; referring to Mayank as Mayu, that subtle significance signaling love.

I simply loved shipa aunty's attitude here.she was shocked .at the first place , but when nupur spoke up,she immediately realized that there is something more in to this story.coz he knows her son too well..though mayank tried to explain it to her.but i felt it was never needed.

As her 'Mayu' begins to her abate her fears, his brain sparks and flames a fire. The 'twist' watches as the twister gets twisted.

She laughs at the 'entertainment' knowing that if life spins you off the ground, turn it into a cartwheel and enjoy the ride. 😆yeah! she was surely enjoying it., at the time of dewali she stopped both of them even before they begin.but she had the idea that this battle is a treat to watch, i believe the curious shipa aunty was realdy to enjoy this for once at least!

Mayu finds 'his' side laughing and understands that she is not a referee but the nurse to be called in the aftermath. & that was enough for him i guess, that she was not judging him on the basis of this incident!

I love the why Vaishnavi shows how Shilpa Aunty's heart pinches, as Nupur's sharp words thunder over Mayank's blasts. I feel that it was a new experience for her too watching her so well brought up son getting all those words from someone ....so it was sure to hurt her!

The nurturing mother she heals Nupur's wounds too, so that both opponents may live to fight another day. very well said..she just reasoning out it to nupur .that she as a adult, didn't want to interfare intheir childish fight.& that all the best was like true shipa aunty trademark...spreading love to all! she even after facing such unusual situation.didn't forget that!!!!!.

I included the following three scenes to showcase how Mayank expresses his love for Shilpa Aunty. Feel free to disagree with the first two, for you will be unable to do so with the last.

Mayank hides to perfection, from the master detective of emotions, his severing of ties with Nupur. One theory is that out of his love of his mother, he does not wish to unburden grief upon her. Another reason could be that he is a gentleman and therefore does not want to taint his mother's opinion of Nupur. He hides Nupur's crime from Deodhar Sir too, when exposing her could free him of her burden. However I give all credit for 'one of the last true gentlemen' to the lady who raised him.

I will go for the 2nd option, somehow deep inside his heart,he wanted nupur to hv a good image infront of his mom it was important for him, the phone covo is a perfect example.he even wished goodnight to his mom from nupur's behalf .i believe he just didn't want to put nupur in bad light infront of his mom.

Again I was deeply touched, far into those recesses within my heart under lock and key, by the manner in which MJHT creators showed that if love isn't dependent upon money then neither is its expression. The irreplaceable moment Mayank gifts to his loving mother is worth the world and everything in it.

"Mein liya hoon, lots of love for the best mom in the world!"

This scene was the best mom son scene ever! i believe for a mom like shilpa aunty anything mayank would hv done can never be enough.but with that one dialogue.he just brought the most beautiful smile to her face.no gifts of world can beat that!!!!!!! & for mom ..this was more than enough!!!!!! this was unexpected yet most beautiful thing that shilpaa aunty could ask for!& i believe every mother of the world deserve some unexpected gift like this!!!!

One thing i noticed here is the disbelief and shock on her face when she saw mayank in the "almost compromising" position. But, importantly, There is this something in shilpa aunty's expression that says, whatever maybe the case, she would still support him. And then comes the famous mothers instinct.. when she sees nupur there..Immediately relief washes over her face as she realises the case is not what she thinks it is....And that is why she asks him.."ye sab kya hai mayu"....

And and.. When the gUy says "abhi tak to kuch bhi nahin kiya" and mayu swears..(well wouldn't call it swear, but yeah for mothers even an "abey" is a swear...)..You can see shilpa aunty frowning at his son for using this word....(Ohk if you don't know, "Abey" is not a decent word..Though it is a part of day-to-day language of us youngsters..)

And then comes the "achcha samjhao" Couldn't help noticing the playful smile there.. Its just then that she has regained the confidence that her son is normal....So, she doesn't leave the chance of teasing him. Teasing, i believe, is the best way to teach his son to live life beyond the practical boundaries. By this, i don't mean that mayank is humorless, what i mean is that he is more of a guy whose humor is sarcastic and mostly aimed at others. And the humor, which is aimed at him, he doesn't care much about it. Here comes the role of shilpa aunty, to teach him how it feels when the humor is directed at you and also teach him how to cope with it..And she excels in it.

She laughs at the 'entertainment' knowing that if life spins you off the ground, turn it into a cartwheel and enjoy the ride.

Mayu finds 'his' side laughing and understands that she is not a referee but the nurse to be called in the aftermath. I loved this interpretation. This is what a mother is. Unfair to her child, Still very fair to him.

I love the why Vaishnavi shows how Shilpa Aunty's heart pinches, as Nupur's sharp words thunder over Mayank's blasts. Me too, for its her simple loving heart which doesn't like to hear the harsh, but true words. But, then again, its the same simple loving heart which teaches him to overcome his flaws. Mind you, its her heart, not her brain. Cause, mothers' steps are always guided by their hearts.

I included the following three scenes to showcase how Mayank expresses his love for Shilpa Aunty. Feel free to disagree with the first two, for you will be unable to do so with the last.

He hides Nupur's crime from Deodhar Sir too, when exposing her could free him of her burden. However I give all credit for 'one of the last true gentlemen' to the lady who raised him,Single-handed

The irreplaceable moment Mayank gifts to his loving mother is worth the world and everything in it.

"Mein liya hoon, lots of love for the best mom in the world!" And i bring to you my ever rising smile that the the reminder of this scene followed by the interpretation has brought on my face..

Again, thank you Sabah for making this thread, for whenever i am angry at my mother, this thread reminds me of what importance she holds in my life..

Love,
Akansha..

there were many such subtle references..like the lucky mishra lodge where u see Nupur's innocence.. Its a place used for all vices, yet she was untouched by it because of her endearing innocence.. many such cases..
I m amazed that Shilpa Aunty was able to take it so well, most parents would have reacted in an extreme manner..

As her 'Mayu' begins to her abate her fears, his brain sparks and flames a fire. The 'twist' watches as the twister gets twisted.

She laughs at the 'entertainment' knowing that if life spins you off the ground, turn it into a cartwheel and enjoy the ride.

shocking the way Shilpa Aunty is actually able to live by that adage...Imagine ur son who u know has never strayed from the righteous path is there in a place u least expect him to be, is being mocked and insulted.. No mother can bear the pain, SA takes it surprisingly well!! Maturity is often defined in terms of age, it is not, it is often the way people react to unpredictable situations, for eg, a much older Bauji (Nupur's) acted in an immature manner in the most important phase of her life..while a definitely younger Mayank is able to handle the unreasonable anger much better..
Mayu finds 'his' side laughing and understands that she is not a referee but the nurse to be called in the aftermath.

I love the why Vaishnavi shows how Shilpa Aunty's heart pinches, as Nupur's sharp words thunder over Mayank's blasts.

The nurturing mother she heals Nupur's wounds too, so that both opponents may live to fight another day.

she is not biased but she loves her son ..yet she chooses not to take sides for the girl in question has quite endeared herself to her..

It could be all of the above, he doesnt want to ruin her reputation in front of his mother..
I have seen this happening often in life, even if u have a tiff with ur BF/lover, u tend not to discuss it with ur mother ..just a fear that maybe she will judge him based on that while u both might forget all and move on...

Its heartening to see how much she means to him.. he has always been a perfect son hasnt he?
Ofcourse he has his flaws but not as a son, he is the obedient son, the loving son , the caring son, the taking charge son, the giving control son, the friend to his mother and a source of confidence to her as well..
I think I wandered off, but someday I;ll find my way :)

This truly is the best consequence of MJHT, That it inspires us to be better, to fulfill our potential with those who deserve more than our 'best' the most.

Love,
Akansha..
