and further... if bui is protective of nupur, i dont think dats reason enough to force her into marriage......its lame...

I am sorry you see her that way ........... you are entitled for your opinion and I respect that....

Thank you for commenting😊............

@Lipsa_mjht......Thank you😊...And believe me....college professors are nothing like this....college is full of assignments ..deadline, exams and grades....our future depends on our performances there........no one takes it lightly except in MJHT...........

Got to love it thought.................😆

Indian traditions and customs are so unique...I go to any ones house..I go to the elders of the house and do pranam....It is sign of respect....I am not saying sammy is disrespectful...The showmakers don't have the faintest clue as to what is respect.....

She is rude..ofcourse she is....candle light room...in her own house with our knowing...didi they sseriously expect her not to know......What if she walked in....Again in reality.......there is a way to behave if one is a guest...there are some commom courtesies one needs to follow.....I guess this is totally new concept for our dear CVs.

I am glad you do respect them..because they are who we are....

It is Diwali and I feel the need to reconnect I guess....😆😆😆

i agree aj;but how do we xpct sammy 2 know ol dse customs....c'mon isn't he an orphan (literally...courtesy his invisible parents)....i mean evn dia;uday n benji din know dat dey r s'posd to do a pranam...2ndly about his entry....he was 2 confused n perplexed 2 introduce him...i mean after ol...his *sure to work* plan flopped....so isn't his reaction sorta obvious?

*peace*

@ anu- i know as women we really ve to put up with a lot of crap. Luckly for me, my parents ve never shown that they miss a son... in fact my mom often says its only a daughter who truly loved and respects her parents, Sons just do it for social compulsion.
I ve hardly seen boys after 13, 14 years of age having a heart to heart convo with parents..
Sorry for deviating from your topic... but it really burns me to see thekhandan ka ek lauta chiraj crap.

@ pretty.women - tam mam's dainty frocks - 🤣

@bold- that scared me yaar!!!! but I do find it very true..have seen a drastic change in the way men treat their parents once they get married😡. I always wonder why the present generation find their elders a nuisance .. why do we conviently forget that a day would come when we too would reach that stage.

The beginning of the show was much better and did have to do with real life..some what...it was not complete off base.......

As for the rest of your comment.........👏👏👏

I have to concur 100%.......

AJ,

I stopped looking for any semblance of reality in these shows when i was watching DMG - as for parents and elders, Armaan's parents track there was far far worse! My conclusion - no point getting too involved - you land up getting very disappointed when things don't turn out the way you want or expect. So enjoy what you like and ignore the rest!

Never watched MJHT from the beginning - I started watching around Valentine's day episodes, which was where both love stories started. I like romcoms 😛 ... much better than saas bahu sagas, so am stuck with this, I guess!

Bronze, mayur16,

this preference for sons is very much alive and kicking in India, so I found bui's attitude very natural. Wht I loved were Dia's expressions of total disgust at the khandaan ka chiraag lines ... the younger generation is changing, but these old ideas don't die out so soon. My husband used to declare loudly to his parents that he wanted only girls ... they couldn't dare to say anything when my daughter was born!
