@Neetu........ Femisnist huh....I know what you mean.....and I also realized what my gramd ma meant........ponly when I became a mother..........😆😆...She wasn't asking me to be a girl because I am less tahn a boy...she was only trying to make sure I was ready to bear the responsibility of my offspring........believe me when I say this......being a mother is like walking on the highwire......they are so impressionable.........And Mother is the first teacher.......
kahndaan ka vaaris.........unfortunately.....hindu scriptures do say that only men are allowed to give last rights........not girls......don't know why......there is argument by some of the vedis pundits that the tradition was a misinterpretation .........but unfortunately does prevail till this day...I go through it...........
My husband despite his attempts was not suceessful...........
@ Shamil.........I agree.........I love my grandma and my in-laws live with us in USA too....My husband told me very clearly before marriage.....and I loved it...........They are really good people bit old fashioned....but that's who they are...my baby gets pampered a lot..........so that I can be strict..........
@Diya........I don't really take any of these characters seriously..........I saw so many bashing posts and insulting posts towards Bui and bauji...I felt like saying something........What was I trying to prove in a virtual forum aboout a fictional show...........😆😆😆
@Aranya....thank you dear........

Hey Guys😃
So the elders in MJHT - Are they Myth or Reality?
Firstly what you said about Bui I agree with 100%👍🏼 Bui is REAL and yes she only wants to protect Gunjan and Nupur but shes also judgemental and plays favourites. I swear shes just like my gran😆 She plays favourites with Uday over Dia because hes the only Son which is understandable. Quite a lot of elders even today still think that the Son is the most important thing in the family. She also however was playing favourites with Mayank (AKA BabluJi) over Samrat. Now I know that Samrat and Buis first meeting wasnt all that great but she labelled him as the BadGuy and just stuck to it! He apologised with good manners, and hes treated Bui with respect since. Of course it hasnt helped that Bui saw him watching Gunjan in a Not-Friends way😆 so although I feel bad for Samrat I get why shes acting like that.
On to Mayanks Mum: MYTH???😲 No. Way. People like Mayanks Mum really exist in the world. My Mum is like her! Understanding, a friend to talk to but a mother when she needs to be.
Nothing else to say here really😆 I love Mayanks Mum and Im still hoping that shes gonna come to Morena😛
Who else? Samrats Parents. Myth? Again I would say No. Just like we get good parents in this world we also get some not so good ones. They obviously dont care for Samrat at all and theyve left him to just get on with it and thats why he sees Friendship as something really important. And not all kids who ahve parents like Samrats end up like RV. I think it depends on the character of the person.

@ anu - I dont care much abt religious previlages son's might have. I am not really ritualistic. it is the social difference we ve put up with.
well, This is a serious topic we better not discuss further abt this..
& honestly speaking bui is very mild and modate version of the ppl of that catogroy.

@ shruti.nil - shilpa aunty is certainly not a myth. Luckly mothers like her do exist and they exist in my own home. and kids of families , do turn out to be like mayank.. he may not be perfect, but he is a son every mother would be proud of..

And sam's parents are also not myth, such parents do exist.. but we really dont ve anything to discuss abt them, we haven't had a single scene of them

AJ..I finally got around to commenting on ur topic LOL

Shilpa aunty - She is a very interesting character..more in touch with reality than the jewelry clad / venom spitting/sati savithri types.. She works, takes care of her son, has fun, has a gr8 relationship with her son. I wouldnt think too much but I rate her as the best adult figure around.

Bui - She is turning out to be more of a parent figure than expected, her old world mentality is attributed to her origins and she does have a sense of humour (eg..when UDay says i wanna kiss ur hand for making the food, she simply calls champa and tells uday she made the food LOL). She is a interesting character introduced late.

Bauji /chachaji -cant say cos they r missing most of the time

Profs..LOL now ..they are mere caricatures..thats all I can say!!
