Inside the audi
Dia is coordinating all the rehearsals with Annie and Chacko's help. The stage transitions are smooth...from a skit to a dance to a song performance..

Annie: Dia, sab kuch kitna smooth ja raha hai. Aaj bahut maza aayega!
Dia: but of course babes! Maine jo arrange kiya hai! Aur aaj Sammy ka surprise bhi toh hai.
Annie: (enthusiastically) oh haan Dia. Aaj wo tumhe propose karega..aur tum is college ke sabse happening couple ban jaoge.

(Uday, who's been running after a girl, suddenly pops up in front of them.)

Dia: Dodo! Tum subah se kaha ho? Maine tumse kaha tha na rehearsals me help karne ko.
Uday: arey deedz main help karne ki Aakansha se hi toh yaha aaya tha.. (attempts to run away again..)
Dia: ab agar tum yaha se gaye toh itni maar padegi ki jeene ki aakansha hi khatam ho jaayegi! (pauses) haan agar Sammy ko surprise arrange me help karni ho, toh tum ja sakte ho.
Uday: (scared) s..s..surprise?
Dia: haan Dodo? Tumne hi toh kaha tha ke..
Uday: oh haan deedz! Surprise na. Mujhe Sammy ki help karne hi toh jaana tha. (slowly) I hope wo maan jaaye!
Dia: maan jaaye matlab? (Uday runs away from the scene) Dodo. Dodo!!

Cut to: Samrat - backstage
Uday runs upto him, panting.

Uday: Sammy! Sammy!
Samrat: Mere kaan ab bhi thik hai..itna chilla kyun raha hai?
Uday: tu yaha kya kar raha hai?
Samrat: arey chashmish ki wait kar raha hu. Nupur se milne gayi hai phir se.
Uday: arey use chod na. Deedz ka surprise toh ready hai?
Samrat: Huh? Kaunsa surprise?
Uday: Sammy, deedz ko maine kaha tha surprise ke baare me. Agar use nahi mila na toh teri chashmish ke saath saath mujhe bhi Morena bhej degi!
Samrat: dekh dude. Mere paas waste karne ko time nahi hai. Aaj maine chashmish ke liye kuch special plan kiya hai..aisa kuch jisse uski singing performace sabse best ho!
Uday: Sam plz! Meri jaan bacha le!

(Gunjan is back and walks upto him.)

Samrat: Uday, aaj ka din Gunjan ka hai. Tu aaram se jaake baith aur iski performance ka wait kar. Kandy ko main baad me sambhal lunga. Waise bhi, shart haarna bhi shayad use surprise hi lage? (smiles)

(Dia is now fuming and bursting for she has overheard the entire conversation.)

Dia: wo Morena ki behanji! Wo Sammy ke liye itni important ho gayi ke uske liye surprise plan kiya hai! Matlab Dodo ne us din bhi jhoot bola tha. Sammy us raat Gunjan se milne aaya tha!
Annie: ab tum kya karogi Dia?
Dia: ab tum dekhti jao Annie ke main kya karti hu. Samrat ka Gunjan ke gaane ke liye plan toh tab kaam karega na jab wo gayegi.
Annie: par mujhe lagta hai ke wo gaa legi.
Dia: nahi babes. Gaayegi toh wo tab na jab wo stage tak pahuch paayegi. (sly smile)

I wanna see Gunjan sing Teri Deewani.

Cut to: Nupur - Excel College Gate
Nupur is standing at the gate. She keeps looking at everyone intently to see if they are Mayank. She stares at each passing bike, car and auto rickshaw..but to no avail.

Nupur: haaye ye Mayank ab tak nahi aaya. Thodi der me toh back stage bulaya hai. Pata nahi main akeli kaise jaayu. Gunjan ko toh bol diya ke Mayank aa jaayega..aunty ne toh kaha tha..par wo nahi jaanti na ke Mayank kitne gusse me tha! Tere hi saath aisa kyun hota hai Nupur? Aaj agar Mayank aa jaaye na toh main zindagi bhar uske liye project banane ko tayyar hu.

(Nupur sees the other participants being called backstage and with a sad face, she too goes up to them...)

Cut to: Outside the gate, in a distant corner
Two men are busy discussing some urgent plans. They have some equipment with them but we don't get to see what it is.

Man 1: Tune sab check toh kar liya hai na? Aisa na ho ki itni mushkil ke baad kaam bhi na ho aur bhanda bhi phoot jaaye.
Man 2: Rustam jo karta hai perrffect karta hai boss! Aur bhai se maar nahi khaani mujhe. Ab jaldi chal..ise andar fit bhi toh karna hai.

(They carry whatever they are hiding and rush to Excel's college back door entry)

Coming up: How special will Gunjan's song be? Will Nupur make a joke of herself or will Mayank come to her rescue? The talent parade also brings with it some very special guests..ones we all know and love.. 😉 and will it bring some unwelcome ones too?
