Hie everyone! After reading all ur FF's and scenes I must say you guys totally rock! And its completely due to this that I too feel like writing some MJHT fiction..Please do bear with me and do tell me how it goes.. 😛

*** Mayank has got to know the truth abt the project and has had a big bad argument with Nupur. Refusing any excuses, he walked out. Nupur is shattered.

That night at home

Gunjan: arey di, ye serial toh sach me bahut mazedaar hai..pehle mujhe stupid lagta tha.
(Nupur who has been staring blankly at the screen looks at Gunjan, with a downcast expression.)

Gunjan: arey sorry baba..main toh mazaak kar rahi thi. Main jaanti hu yeh apka favourite serial hai. (smiles)
(Nupur's expression remains unchanged.)

Gunjan: (now a little worried) kya hua di? Main tabse bak bak kar rahi hu aur tum toh kuch bol hi nahi rahi. Aaj meri jagah kaise le li tumne, haan?

Nupur: kaash main teri jagah le sakti Gunjan. Main teri tarah kyun nahi hoon? Kyun main intelligent nahi hu? Kyun teachers meri tareef nahi karte?

Gunjan: ye aap kya keh rahe ho di? Aap intelligent ho..sirf kitaabo me ghuse rehna koi baat nahi hoti..main bhi pehle sochti thi ki kitaabo k bahar ki duniya bematlab hai par jabse Sam..(she gets quiet)

Nupur: jabse Samrat se mili hai nayi duniya se bhi mili hai..yahi na? (Gunjan blushes) Tu kitni lucky hai Gunjan...na chahte hue bhi tujhse jalan si ho rahi hai mujhe..

Gunjan: exactly kya hua di? Mayank ne kuch kaha kya..kahi use project k baare me toh..?

Nupur: haan Gunjan..use sab pata chal gaya hai..wo mujhse bahut naraaz hai aur shayad ab phir kabhi baat nahi karega..(she begins to cry)

Gunjan: arey di yeh kya..aap plz ro mat..yeh to ek din hona hi tha na..aur project to bas khatam hi hone wala hai. Phir Mayank agar naraaz bhi ho to kya farak padhta hai..

Nupur: kya farak padhta hai? Wo ek hi toh dost bana hai mera Mumbai me Gunjan! Main jaanti hu k pehle wo mujhe acha nahi lagta tha par ab..uski aadat si padh gayi hai..aur yeh project, maine khud kyun nahi banaya! Main tu kyun nahi hu..kyun main koi kaam thik se nahi kar sakti.. (breaks down completely..)

Gunjan: sab thik ho jayega di..aap plz aise ro mat..aap jaisi bhi ho bahut achi ho..sabse achi ho, samjhe?

Nupur: Gunjan, agar Mayank mujhse muh mod lega na to main bilkul akeli padh jaungi..

Gunjan: aap kabhi akele nahi padh sakte..main hu na apke saath..hamesha!

(The two sisters hug each other..)

Nupur has fallen asleep but Gunjan is restless. She is thinking..

Di kitni upset hai..lagta hai Mayank ne di ki koi bhi baat sun ne se inkaar kar diya. Use toh yeh bhi nahi pata ki ab wo is project par khud hi kaam kar rahi hai. Kya mujhe usse baat karni chahiye?

Next morning - Excel College

Uday: Sam meri baat to sun. Tu hi toh meri uh..uh..uh..ummeed hai!
Samrat: Tujhse sab kab ka ummeed haar chuke hai dude.
Uday: deedz mujhe maar daalegi Sam. Please kuch kar!
Samrat: Use mere baare me jhoot bolne se pehle tune mujhse pucha tha?
(Uday idiotically shakes his head)
Samrat: Toh phir ab main teri madad kyun karu?
Uday: o come on Sam, kuch bhi surprise plan kar le na.
Samrat: No time! Kal talent parade hai aur chashmish ko gana hai. Mera pura concentration uspe hai. Kandy abhi priority nahi hai.
Uday: par Sammy..

(Samrat suddenly sees Gunjan approaching, a smile forms on his face and he walks towards her. Uday is left alone again, with his trademark silly expression)

Uday: Talent parade ooff ! Lagta hai kal Gunjan k gaane k saath saath, meri bhi parade hone wali hai. Mummy!!

Just as Gunjan is about to enter the class, Samrat holds her hand and pulls her aside. Gunjan is stunned and almost loses her balance.

Samrat: hie chasmish..kaisi ho?
(Gunjan composes herself and smiles.)
Gunjan: main thik hu.
Samrat: toh phir main bhi thik hu. Acha yeh batao, kal ki preparation puri hai na?
Gunjan: (hesitates) uh..pata nahi..Samrat main..
Samrat: main jaanta tha ki preparation to puri ho hi gayi hogi.
Gunjan: lekin agar..
Samrat: agar light chali gayi toh audi generator se connected hai chashmish!
Gunjan: (smiles) kal sab acha ho jaayega na?
Samrat: Ache logo k saath acha hi hota hai. Pehle shahrukh ko sikhaya tha, ab tumhe bata raha hu. Yaad rahega na gunjan?
Gunjan: gunjan?
Samrat: kya baat hai. Mera jadu itna hai k tum apna naam bhi bhul gayi.
Gunjan: (embarrased..looks down..) sorry. Tum hamesha chashmish bulate ho na, isliye.
Samrat: wo toh main pyar se bulata hu.

(Suddenly Dia walks towards them...)

Dia: kiske pyar ki baat ho rahi hai yaha?

(They both look at her and wonder what to say)
