My World.. My Life..My Love

There was hustle bustle everywhere' Lights, camera, action' these were the words that were echoing in the entire campus. The prinicpal and the entire college had assembeld to have a glimpse of the future star which was a product of this very college excelling in everything, EXCEL college

But somewhere in all the excitement, the duo of Mayank-Nupur were missing. Although they were very happy for Gunjan, the feeling that they are far away from their dreams, individually and together, crept in. The dreams which both of them had woven together' They were very happy with each other, content' but still their yearning to achieve more in life on their own accord, on the basis of their confidence and the trust and belief they had on each other, was something they dreamt of. To prove themselves to Bauji, to Bui' and most importantly.. for themselves.

M: Nupur, tumhe nahin lagta ki humein apne future ke baare mein discuss karna chahiye? Humein bahut kuch achieve karna hain, hum aise haath-pe-haath rakhe huye nahin baith sakte

N: Main samajh rahi hoon tum kya bolna chahte ho, par abhi hum college mein hain, aur graduation hote hi mein bhi tumhara saath doongi aur hum donon milke hamare har sapne ko poora karenge.. Haina Mayu?

M: Kitne din aur Nupz? Tumhe yaad hain, hum donon ko, aur khaas karke mujhe, abhi tak Bauji ko prove karna hain.. unhone abhi tak mujhe sweekara nahin hain, tumhe pata hain, iss baat se mujhe kitni takleef hoti hain, meine tumhe kabhi bataya nahin.. par iska matlab yeh nahin hain ki, mujhe bura nahin lagta.. bahut bura lagta hain aur bahut hurt bhi hoon mein iss baat se.. meri kya galti thi Nupz ki Bauji mere saath aisa behave karte hain?

Nupur could see the tension on his forehead, the hurt and pain in his eyes.. His eyes had welled up, 😭😭😭 but then he had controlled himself. For the first time, she felt helpless.. for her, for her Mayu.. To console him,

N:- Placing her hand on his shoulder, Mayank, meri baat suno''

Mayank just shrugs off her hand and walks away from there, and leaves a depressed and sad Nupz behind.

It was time for Shukla Sir's (S) class and the bell had rung.

S:- Aaj hum vaastavikta aur prem kahaniyon ke baare mein varnan karne waale hain. Sach mein agar dekha jaaye toh koi bhi prem kahani ek saman nahin hoti.. kahin naa kahin, kam yaa zyaada maatra mein mushkilein hoti hain, par agar aapka saath dene koi aisa humsafar mil jaaye toh aapki manzil, aur uss manzil ki aur leke jaanewali har mode aur har raasta aasani se chal sakte hain.. Kyun Chaatron? Kya aap sab iss baat se sehmat hain?

The whole class claps at this point and our couple look at each other and are lost in their world.

S: Toh hum ek khel khelte hain, jisme aap sab ko ek doosre ke saath bithaya jaayega aur aapko apke saathi se gaanon ke zariye batana hoga, ki aap unka saath kaise denge.. Toh chaliye, hum prarambh karte hain. Toh pehle, kaun aana chahega manch par?

He scans the full class, and finds Mayur in their own lost world.

S: Mahodayaa Nupur..

No response from her..

S: Mahodaya Nupur Bhushan.. hum aapse baat kar rahe hain..

She gets startled and stands up..

N: Sorry Sir.. woh maine dhyaan nahin diya' aap kya bata rahe the?

S: Aajkal ke chattra bhi naa.. Aap, yahan manch par aayiye ur batayiye aap aapke saathi ki madad kaise karenge?

N: Jaisa aap kahen Sir..

Song No. 5:- Tu Mile (Female)

S: Bahut khoob varnan kiya hain aapne.. Bahut prasannata hui hai mujhe tumhare vichaaron se jo tumne gaanon ki zariye vyakt kiye.. Bahut achche' and the whole class appreciates Nupz.

After the class, Mayank realises how rude he was with Nupur before the class began. He also saw how sad Nupur had become and the smile on her face had disappeared after their discussion. He gets angry with himself and thinks of a way to get back that beautiful smile on Nupur's innocent face.

At home, in the evening, Mayu comes home earlier than usual. In the meanwhile, Nupz has finished off with all her household chores and is studying. She remembers the conversation they had in the college, and her eyes are filled with tears. 😭😭😭 She asks herself, Will Bauji ever accept "Her Mayank"? She is disturbed by the doorbell.. and she is surprised to see Mayu so early.😳😳😳

He asks her to get ready and tells her that they are going out to cheer up themselves. And as usual, our Nupur gets hyper-excited 😛😛😛😛😛

N: Batao naa Mayu, hum kahan jaa rahe hain? Tum bolte kyun nahin ho, mooh mein ladoo rakha hain kya.. arey jawaab toh do, kabse pooch rahi hoon, hum kahan jaa rahe hain? Ab tum bologe bhi yaa nahin?

M: Morena express chup rahegi toh hi bataoonga naa' tum itna sab kuch ek hi baari mein kaise bolti ho? *SIGHS HEAVILY*.. tum apni aankhen bandh rakhna jab tak mein kahoon.. 😳

N: Tum bhi naa, Mayu.. meri aankhen kitni dard karegi.. aur phir laal ho jayegi aur phir aakhon ke neeche dark circles aa jaayenge.. tum batate kyun nahin hum kahan jaa rahe hain?

M: Nupr, tumne kabhi shanti se waqt beetane ke baare mein socha hain kya? Apne mooh ko thoda toh aaram do.. bechari, kitni thak gayi hai.. kitna bolti ho? 😲 Hum uss jagah jaate hi tum apni aankh aur mooh par laga tala khol sakti ho.. balki mein apne haathon se tumhare mooh par laga hua tala khol doonga theek hain? Ab Chalein..

N: Haan chalo naa.. meine kahan tumhe roka hain' kabse baatein kiye jaa rahe ho.. BY GOD.. Mayu..

After sometime, they reach the beach and Mayu asks Nupz to open her eyes. The sight there is just wonderful and breath-taking. A sight that everyone would die for. They just sit on the sands along the shore, looking at the sunset..

With you around me, I feel so secure

No bad thoughts, no tears and no fear

The comfort of your arms and the warm embrace

Brings a smile and sparkle on my face.

The magic of the silent talk cannot be measured

Our love for each other will always be treasured.

M: Nupur, sorry maine tumpar aaj apna saara frustration nikaala.

N: Koi baat nahin, mujhpar apni frustration nahin nikaloge toh kispar nikaloge..

M: Arey wah, mujhe laga tum phirse mere saath naaraaz ho jaogi, par aaj tum toh bahut hi aasani se maan gayi..

Nupur just smiles and hugs him.

M: Waise, mein bhi tumhare liye kuch karne wala hoon aur tumhe mera saath dena hoga.

N: Theek hain, Saath nibhane ke liye toh, tumhara haath pakda hain'

M then gets a guitar and starts humming the song..

To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world... Mayank-Nupur defined this saying.
