Well, I agree with you about ridhi's acting-not up to the mark. The crying scene was simply forgettable.

I did like her panicked-shocked act when aditya proposes to her. A girl like priya with her past should feel both pleasure, shock and panic and the urge to simply flee from the room and I felt that ridhi portrayed that scene perfectly.

Coming to Gaurav, if he really is gay then the writers are doing a wonderful job with his character build up before the revelation. He is his mother's son and very mch connected to her. Also he is very good to his wife for all that he cannot give her the one thing that she needs-his love.
Also he is sensitive, the scene with Devyani where she slaps him is proof of that! And how he just gently pushes his wife in the direction of friendship to keep her occupied for the moment and never behaves harshly with her, despite having a larger than life sort of example in his overbearing father and seeing him "control" devyani throughout his childhood till now.

All in all, I am looking forward to seeing the special episode and hope that its not overdone.

@red 🤣 I can just imagine Priya's expressions of shock when he will try to complement her in his own silly, light hearted fashion. I think she is going to shake her head quite a bit in her life! That last line gave me a mental picture of aditya waking up priya at midnight for her birthday with a rose and with full romantic splendour and priya waking up from deep sleep and looking at him with fond exasperation!😆

As for Gaurav, I think he is just too confused. In turmoil between his mother, his lover and his forced marriage. Thus his continuous fluctuating thoughts and deeds!

@Tanu - really like Gaurav as a character. They are developing him very nicely. He is charismatic, sensitive and strong but is still vulnerable to his mother. You have to love a man who loves and respects his mother. He is shown being very nice to Vidhya's family and despite his feelings for someone else, he is being very respectful and wonderful to Vidhya and her feelings. With her we seeing him smiling and taking pleasure in the small things which is unlike his normal brooding self. I saw a bit of a manipulative characteristic in him when he jumped all over Vidhya's misunderstanding..

is it just me who finds Gaurav's character completely spineless....every new day i'm hating him more.....he is manipulative just like his mom....lets say he is gay....then he is trying to have the cake and eat it too....while not allowing Vidya any cake at all.....he not a strong person at all...bend to the wills of social pressure and married a girl but still having a relationship with someone else.....
