^agreed. I think all of planetvu is down, not just zee marathi.

anyways, I will PM u the name of the CTO and his contact number, that is all I have at the moment. Do report back here and let us have an update.

yeah I agree with Pankha..post his info here so all of us can call him and express our frustration. Me and my wife are really frustrated! This is not the way to do the busineess

Hi ChocoLady,

Thank you for contacting PlanetVu person and letting him/her know the concern of members.
I have been regularly sending e-mails to PlanetVu when the service is down and I get prompt replies from them, oh, sorry, what I mean is prompt auto replies.
I have never received regular reply. This problem got severe from Sep. start and not from Oct. 30 as the description on website made us believe.
The transmission problems were there even earlier than that. We stay in California so chat timing clashed with office timing. But whenever I had get chances to communicate with them on Chat, the customer service response was pathetic. They were not sure about origin of the problem, were not sure when the problem will be fixed (I am mentioning about several earlier problems and not the current one).
They never shared any contact details. So please share with me name and contact details of CTO.

Hi Michi,

I'm writing to detail the concern that some of the planetvu user community has about the service.

We understand that planetvu is working to improve the services, but it's very frustrating there although the problem has been existing since early september, we were given no updates til the notice was put on the site on october 30th. And since then there is no update. We would like to know the current status, and also when services are expected to resume. I was given an estimate of 16th November at the very latest. We would also request you to please update the planetvu site every 2 days or so in case of further delays.

Also, the contact information and email addresses listed on the site are not working, people are reporting that their emails are getting bounced back. This leaves customers very frustrated. We all love planetvu, and we feel let down by the way this entire situation has been handled. I hope you will work with your team to improve customer relations.

Just spoke to Ron. I communicated to him

    That we all luv planetvu and are frustrated that it is not live Told him that emails are getting bounced and there is no communication Asked him any tentative date to have it back live
  • Offered him anything we could do as a community

He do not seem to have a plnned date other than "it should be soon and we are working on it" He confirmed the email addresss: michi a t planetvu d o t com (spelled to aviod spamming). He told me also that they may not be able to get the messgae page updated or it may be the service may resume earlier than they could work on the web site. Overall I got a positive hope but no clear dates. He seems a reasonable guy putting in honest efforts to correct the issue/problem

Thaks to ChocoLady for all efforts and help. I guess now we should run a online petition and send a compiled email to them. Do we know how many are we ? 100's will make a difference I hope.

Preview section was working before also. It has recorded videos for channel lineup. But that is interesting point - if they can stream recorded video why not live stream .. Hmm I hope they don't have problems getting the live stream.. ideas ?

MNOP: thanks for the update.. i too felt he was a reasonable guy.. but it looks like we just have to wait it out, yeah?

i don't think we can get even 15 signatures for the petition over here.. but if u think it's worth the effort, count me in.
