Hey guys,
I just talked to Ron. Good news and bad news.
Bad news first: Most likely they will not be up before January 2008.
Good news: The company is not closing down. They have made huge investments in the broadcasting technology and they are definitely not going out of business. The delays have happened because the materials required arrived late because there were a lot of holidays in the countries they were purchasing the materials from, and here in the US as well. The materials have arrived recently and work is going on without any problems. It is a huge and complicated project, so we just have to be patient.I expressed concerns to Ron about credit cards being charged and he pointed out that they stopped charging subscribers in August itself as they knew this was coming up. Nobody was charged in September. Your credit card information is secure and will not be abused.
Ron thanks the user community for their patience and continued support.
Thank you Chocolady for contacting with Ron and giving latest information.
I was out of US, hence delay in reply.
You mentioned that Ron pointed out that PlanetVu has stopped charging subscribers in August itself as they knew this was coming up.
But this is not true as I have been charged in August and September 2007. For both these months, service was down on most of the weekends. So actually I ended up paying up full month's cost for half month's viewing.
If they knew this was coming up, they could have informed subscribers in advance about this outage.
Streaming of Zee Marathi is not yet started as of 11th Jan. 2008.
Please convey these anomalies to Ron on my behalf and ask him (on my behalf) when can I get refund for August and September 2007 subscription paid already ?
