Erm yeh, agreed that the reason beind Sid-Mahi-Rosh not talking was rather silly. Even more silly was the fact that they both came jumping back and out of nowhere grabbed Mahi at the store (seriously...how the eff did they both knw she was gonna be there?..😕). Its so unlike this show because every episode is linked to the previous one in a rather logical manner. Oh well...guess the cracks are showing *shrugs* LOL I guess they are indeed *sighs*😆😆....Honestly the fact that they chose not to show any real character growth with Mahi after the Ishan epi has really pulled down this show in my eyes...on top of that this rushed confession/Mahi's brainlessness just ruined it further....Sid who was one of my fav. characters since the beginning of the show is nowadays just....random😕😕

The only view point we ever see is that of Mahi's. They have never shown Shiv separately, maybe thinking about her or trying to figure out his feelings for her. Nothing at all to indicate he is really in love with her and is ready to go ahead and conf....oops...erm...propose to her? I guess they might show Shiv's POV sometime after Mahi realises what an ass she has been and goes off begging for forgiveness. It has been obvious that Shiv really likes Mahi but the fact that he says he LOVES her took me by surprise. Exactly! At the most they've shown that he likes her quite a bit and has a huge soft spot for her...but this confession was OTT with him saying, "Main tumse bahut pyar karta hoon....can't imagine my life without you...." I was just sitting there gaping at the screen thinking....when did you come to all these conclusions, Shiv?😕😆....and then when he tells her, "Oh come on, Mahi....you know what's b/w us is much more than friendship" and I'm like SERIOUSLY?? What exactly gave Shiv this indication?? Yeah he likes her....but when did they ever have any such romantic moments that he reached this other conclusion?😕😆😆

Hmm...I guess the makers want to delay and drag Mahi's realisation as much as they can. They probably do wanna portray her as a complete FOOL who will not open her eyes despite being slapped in the face twice. Next epi will be about her again moaning and whining about how terrible her life and eating herself to the point of explosion in all this misery *shakes head*...So I guess when the reality will hit her, it will hit her hard. Hope that day comes soon since the season is about to end in 2 months anyways.Yeah, reality will hit her by the end of the show I guess....but frankly I don't really think I care much for that point anymore....the characters have lost quite some credibility in my eyes now😕

What does this woman want? ...She wants Mills N Boons wala vaahiyat romance. Thats what she wants :P...Oh God...lets not even go to her OTT dream sequences and all. Sometimes you can't help but think this girl is just a big airhead! That is EXACTLY what she is, yaar! Superficial airhead, that's it!🤢

Paata nahi kya hoga iska. Not looking forward to the next epi anyways...more moping, crying, complaining, pitying, thoosofying self in depression 🤢. I'm seriously considering skipping that epi....waise bhi there won't be any Shiv....even less incentive to watch😆

PS. Just turned on my siggy/avi option and LOL...I absolutely adore your avi. I loved that scene with Isha smacking the crap outta Rohan...😆...That Love Mera Hit Hit line is pure genius...😆 LOL thanks yaar! Glad you liked it! to be honest I did not even understand what Shiv was saying when he was proposing to Mahi , the dialogues didn't make any sense to me , it was just so hap hazard and sudden that I think even Shiv was blabbing something just for the heck of it. However, that doesn't take away the fact that Shiv is actually an AMAZING guy and that despite the randomness and wrong timing his proposal was touching and sweet somehow or may be it is just because of my soft corner for Shiv 😆......LOL I ADORE Shiv too....but yeah I deffo didn't understand how on earth he decided to go ahead and propose to her with such heavy duty dialogues and was even freakin moving in to KISS her without listening to her 'yes' or 'no'😕😕😆....I found all of this to be QUITE OOC

Coming to Mahi- I think this show's name should be changed from Mahi Way to Mahi's SHALLOW Way - I thought she had depth as a character and that her flaws made her human but I realized with time that she is just a superficial , desperate, sore loser who deserves to be taunted and made fun of by the Sona-Mona and Ramona types only 🤢. WORDDDD!! 👏👏👏👏.....This show and Mahi's character has ended up being QUITE disappointingly shallow to me too! I'd expected so much more given the promising note it all started on!

She doesn't deserve a good, understanding and wonderful partner like Shiv. I thought about why Shiv doesn't appeal to Mahi and why she is always so mean to him and I concluded that being the shallow person that she is, a gem of a person like Shiv can NEVER appeal to her because

a) He is not a CHADDIMAN - you see flaunting chaddis on bill boards is the single most criterion that makes a man handsome and good looking in Mahi's world
b)He is not a feminine looking, loser NRI with questionable, possibly dual se***l orientations - you must know that such precious qualities make a man "intelligent, deep and open-minded" 👏

In comparison, Shiv is REALLY a boring handsome guy , neither a Chaddiman nor an effeminate lazy loser and additionally, he is NOT a jerk 😲 ( this quality is a MUST for Mahi to get "attracted" to a guy you see) I mean how can he treat Mahi like a human being as against a time pass or a servant maid AND with respect? 😲 Obviously she does not deserve all this. 🤢 Her absolute disregard for Shiv and the insensitivity with which she broke his heart without any regret makes me think that she is a boneheaded hypocrite who quite obviously doesn't learn her lessons despite having fallen flat on her face in the past. It is funny and irksome when Mahi complains people are judgemental about her- ha, look who's talking?! Someone needs a mirror 😡

Pre-cap: I don't feel ANYTHING for Mahi, why does she need to be cheered up and why is she upset? It is high time she realized that she has NO RIGHT to wallow in self-pity and DESERVES the heart-break, I have no sympathy for her. Now I think her Mom was right in choosing a chaddiwaale Chaddha family groom for her- Mahi deserves someone like that only. And I repeat that I have NO sympathy for Mahi whatsoever 👎🏼. I don't feel anything other than utter disgust for her either, Kavya🤢🤢🤢....I have no sympathy for her wallowing in self-pity....this is what she ALWAYS does.....and even after what she did with Shiv, she's just lamenting about oh how she lost a friend...AB isko "friend" yaad aa gaya ekdum se once SHE got dumped by that loser Dev?? And I wanted to add that IF , by some remote chance and some miracle, Mahi grows a brain and cultivates some sensibly functioning brain cells in that THICKHEAD of hers , realizes what a royal moron and heartless person she's been with Shiv, realizes his worth and decides to woo him back, I hope that Shiv gives her a hard time. Let Mahi work to make her way back into Shiv's heart, when she can work so hard to woo freaks like I-eeww-shaan and Duh-uh-ev, she MUST work double hard for Shiv, at least this time her effort would be worth it. I dunno yaar Kavya....I dunno HOW they will show her growing a brain....they've made her too too TOO shallow yaar.....the character has moved quite beyond redemption in my eyes now....I can't see her EVER making the effort to make it up to Shiv or actually work towards getting him back in her life....she doesn't seem to have it in her to realize the value of this gem of a guy....she is THE biggest loser possible🤢🤢

She IMAGINES herself to be "in love" and then a "wife" to losers like Dev and Ishan! And keeping aside Mahi's stupid refusal and his too-soon-confession, even as a standalone, I didn't like the scene. There was a general awkwardness to it. Acting wise Viraf was not that great in that scene....something about him was off...Totally concur....I also didn't like the scene as a standalone either....Viraf was kinda off in that scene too....it didn't seem as natural and was deffo awkward....maybe even the actors themselves found it hard to stomach how randomly this happened😆😆....I didn't really like the dialogues either...they felt out of character and kinda excessive to show Shiv's feelings at this point😕😕

The scene I actually liked was earlier in the epi when Shiv catches Mahi leaving for work and asks her if she wants to hang out or something....and then the way she refuses him and tells him she's going for some movie....I liked Viraf's acting there....well directed scene.

ANd the explanation they gave for sid-mahi fight was way beyond dumbness.

.I am sick of watching mahi trying to be the victim 24*7, blaming her weight and family and love life for being her hurdles to succeed in life..There is no growth in her character..how can a person crib all their life specially having someone like Shiv around always?? and talking abt shiv, yes, it was totally a rushed confession and somehow I couldn't feel the love and emotions when he proposed..they could have shown something more lighter like him asking her out on a date than saying the usual yashraj romantic dialogues..its too early at this juncture. and i would love to know wat tragedy has exactly struck mahi's life that they take her to goa to relax??😡

And honestly no comments about dev!! I think all the chocolates, pastries, cookies, paranthas have permanently blocked her brain cells from functioning..Since there r just 6 or 7 epi left, is she suddenly gonna realize her mistakes and love for shive out of the blue😕I really wish mahiway doesn't follow the bandwagon of illogical 'sun one' shows!!! As nureat01 mentioned, hadn't it been for shiv, i would have never bothered to follow this show regularly!!
