What on earth possessed Shiv to go and freakin CONFESS to Mahi at a point when she doesn't even TALK to him properly?! He otherwise understands her so well....is so sensitive to all her issues....but this one time he couldn't see how OBVIOUSLY she's been avoiding him since so many days now?? And THIS was the time he chose to go and CONFESS??😕😕

This doesn't take away from the fact ofcourse that Mahi is a TOTAL RETARD who NEVER realized the value of Shiv and was happy being naukraani cum wife in her dreams to Dev....she deserved the heartbreak she got.....in my opinion she deserved worse....but anyways....

Next week's precap frankly annoyed me again cuz Mahi is off on a trip of wallowing in self-pity by stuffing her face as usual....I honestly have no sympathy for her anymore....God only knows how her brain works.....She can't blame anyone or use the excuse of her being judged her for her weight anymore....everything happening to her now is all her own fault for being SUCH a retard....If THIS is what reading romance novels 24/7 can do to a person's brain....if it can rot to SUCH an extent, then it's a sad state of affairs indeed.

Shiv deserves someone FAR better....I don't think Mahi deserves him from ANY angle....

You've made a really good point here. Honestly, even I didn't understand why he confessed considering she blatantly refused him when he said he would join her for the movie & she randomly left him to handle the stall. How could he not see that she was the least bit interested? Even last week she shunned him off pretty much telling him to mind his business after the prat-face Ishaan said a word or two to her. Don't understand where the poor chap got all the false hope from...??? ...Having golgappas on chath, watching DDLJ, having her cry on his shoulder??? 😕 ...Its been obvious that he really likes her but it was random how he couldn't see her absolute disregard for him and what he does for her.

Mahi toh...*shakes head*...akal ghaas charne gayi hai. She's ready to become a kaamwali bai for that foreign return ratface Devvv but has her eyes and ears shut to everything Shiv has done for her. She's dumber than a box of rocks...🤢...which was seriously obvious when one second she was contemplating why Dev was being mean & then she would turn into a bumbling lowe struck airhead as soon as he would ask her to go to some random place with him. Honestly, WTF is wrong with her? 😕...Its so disgusting to see her act all despo and psycho by maaroing katka and jhaado for Dev. Didn't learn her lesson from the chaadi baniyan banane wala Ishaan Singh Alhuwalia...tch tch. Problem is that Mahi can't see beyond the superficiality associated with people like Ishaan and Dev. She judges Shiv on his canvas ke joote and coming 11th in a rally but totally ignores things like him tutoring Ankur, him helping out Sid, helping her overcome her absolute terror of swimming, even sticking at the stall and selling everything...and for heavens sake how can she not even acknowledge him with a simple Thank You for blowing the air out of Ishaan in the interview? What is more infuriating is that Ishaan the prick got his business done and discarded her....assface Dev stood her up at the movies & left her alone at the exhibition and she still won't open up her eyes to reality. Obviously little miss pothead is incapable of understanding peoples character & neeyat. Chaar chittar lagane chahiye isko! Ungrateful, Brainless & totally Hopeless this one is!

All in all, I feel sorry for Shiv. The poor dude didn't deserve it. *sigh*....Hopefully Mahi Loser Talwar will grow a brain sometime soon. It will be surprising to see if she still acts like a retard after the two obvious heartbreaks she has rightly had. If she still does...then this dumb one only gets dumber! *sigh*

LOL I needed to vent myself yaar....I rained quite some gaalis on Mahi while watching the epi last night too....ab yahaan aake bhi bhadaas nikaal li...haha....this point really bothered me....I had hoped when they showed it in the precap last week that this confession might be a dream of Mahi's but sadly it turned out to be true only :S....I seriously don't get why they showed Shiv doing this....this is where MW falters as a show many times in my opinion....and what was up with RANDOMLY showing Sid having stopped talked to Mahi cuz she doesn't give bhaav to Shiv?? Na sir na pair....they never showed any proper scene about that and we were supposed to magically figure it out?? And now Sid-Rosh have randomly jumped back into her life?? Yeh ho kya raha hai bhai?? Story ka koi flow hai bhi ki nahin?? *rolls eyes*

Everything was rushed and random with this confession....oh how I hate this word confession *sigh* loll....comes back to haunt us in some show or the other :P....seriously I liked the subtlety and build up of the Mahi-Shiv bonding the last few weeks....then how come suddenly Shiv ko CONFESSION ka bhoot sawaar ho gaya when Mahi has never even REMOTELY given him positive vibes?? She's been friendly with him, tops....he can't know that she's dreamt random DDLJ sequences about him, can he?? Then yeh confession ka bhoot kahaan se sawaar ho gaya?? Why don't they freakin show us what is going in the minds of the characters other than Mahi to better justify these scenes??.....

Mahi has to be one of the most retarded characters in the history of TV...and it's sad cuz this character had a lot of potential to grow and learn from her experiences in life...but they NEVER show any character growth...she is ALWAYS stuck in the SAME nonsensical endless cycle of self-pity, stuffing her face, obsessed with superficiality and her dumb romance novels.

You know it really irritated me the way Mahi was rolling her eyes at the way her family was fondly talking to Shiv or when Anjali called Shiv perfect....HE IS PERFECT, you loser! How could you NOT see that??? To not value such an amazing man in your life....you deserve the losers of the world like Ishan Chaddiman and that pretentious girly Dev.

And yeah, I SO agree....How could she not even THANK Shiv for the way he udaaoed dhajjiyan of Chaddiman?? Hadh hai yaar! WHAT does this woman want??

This show is REALLY irritating me....if not for Shiv, I would long have given up! Hmmmph!

I completely agree with both of u. My sentiments exactly. I just dont understand how can someone be thick enuf to pick questionably gay n super slob DEVVVVV over the most perfect man on this entire earth?

The only theory I can contemplate is that Mahi is either a zombie or brain dead or just plain dhakkan.

I just wanted to get inside the TV set and hug Shiv for endless hours and slap Mahi for giving Shiv this 💔

he proposed her i think beacuse he felt that she was slipping from his hands,and he needed her to know what he really felt about her......i guess he couldt conrtol his emotions!...
but ya...shiv doesnt deserve mahi...he deserves someone way better than her!

He confessed soon because she never let him speak. She has always been in hurry when Shiv has to say something. So he wanted to do this before she runs away with another crack head like Ishaan.

Erm yeh, agreed that the reason beind Sid-Mahi-Rosh not talking was rather silly. Even more silly was the fact that they both came jumping back and out of nowhere grabbed Mahi at the store (seriously...how the eff did they both knw she was gonna be there?..😕). Its so unlike this show because every episode is linked to the previous one in a rather logical manner. Oh well...guess the cracks are showing *shrugs*

The only view point we ever see is that of Mahi's. They have never shown Shiv separately, maybe thinking about her or trying to figure out his feelings for her. Nothing at all to indicate he is really in love with her and is ready to go ahead and conf....oops...erm...propose to her? I guess they might show Shiv's POV sometime after Mahi realises what an ass she has been and goes off begging for forgiveness. It has been obvious that Shiv really likes Mahi but the fact that he says he LOVES her took me by surprise.

Hmm...I guess the makers want to delay and drag Mahi's realisation as much as they can. They probably do wanna portray her as a complete FOOL who will not open her eyes despite being slapped in the face twice. Next epi will be about her again moaning and whining about how terrible her life and eating herself to the point of explosion in all this misery *shakes head*...So I guess when the reality will hit her, it will hit her hard. Hope that day comes soon since the season is about to end in 2 months anyways.

He is perfect indeed but this girl is just BLIND to everything Shiv is. Hopeless! Keeps complaining about how everyone ranging from her family to her workplace is downright rude to her but won't see how much of a sweetheart Shiv has been at every single instance. Never has he put her down, never has he chided her about her looks, never has he called her anything condescending like 'moti' 'bhains' etc, never has he looked down on her.....but Mahi is just so delusional ..you wanna hit her with a shovel.

What does this woman want? ...She wants Mills N Boons wala vaahiyat romance. Thats what she wants :P...Oh God...lets not even go to her OTT dream sequences and all. Sometimes you can't help but think this girl is just a big airhead!

Paata nahi kya hoga iska. Not looking forward to the next epi anyways...more moping, crying, complaining, pitying, thoosofying self in depression 🤢.

PS. Just turned on my siggy/avi option and LOL...I absolutely adore your avi. I loved that scene with Isha smacking the crap outta Rohan...😆...That Love Mera Hit Hit line is pure genius...😆

I think she was the reason he had come back and of all the times they had bumped into each other, he has been trying to talk to her.

But Mahi was blinded by Ishan and Dev (both yuck 🤢). All her life she has been very clueless as to what is love, life and reality. She lives in this bubble and no complete sense of what's real at times.

Shiv is on the other hand very mature and grounded. So it is a loss on Mahi's part but ultimately it wld be good, when the unite coz at that point Mahi would have grown up and appreciate Shiv more.

Okay here I am, as promised, to vent truly, earnestly and deeply. Isn't it ironic that most of the time we are only venting with respect to our favorite shows when they begin on a highly promising note but go downhill later on? Sigh!
Anyhow, MW has been inconsistent with regards keeping the audience's interest alive, there are times when it is so damn good like the times when Mahi-Shiv were bonding, the whole chatt chats, gol gappa rendezvous et al - good times, GOOD GOOD times but obviously the makers ensure that our happiness is always short lived. Sometimes things that happen in Mahi Way are so random, out of the blue that they leave us 🤔 like Sid and Roshni suddenly ditching Mahi and refusing to talk to her. Now lord only knows why they randomly stopped speaking to her and why they began speaking to her AS randomly 😕 -seems like the makers forgot to add something in between, like an explanation may be? Again, Shiv suddenly fancies that he and Mahi "share something more than friendship" and decides to propose to her when she has been SO OBVIOUSLY shunning him for quite long - now what prompted Shiv to think all that and why exactly did he choose to propose to her at this time is some cryptic puzzle that we are left to solve to amuse ourselves I guess. 😕 There's no flow and no connection between the happenings , to be honest I did not even understand what Shiv was saying when he was proposing to Mahi , the dialogues didn't make any sense to me , it was just so hap hazard and sudden that I think even Shiv was blabbing something just for the heck of it. However, that doesn't take away the fact that Shiv is actually an AMAZING guy and that despite the randomness and wrong timing his proposal was touching and sweet somehow or may be it is just because of my soft corner for Shiv 😆......

Coming to Mahi- I think this show's name should be changed from Mahi Way to Mahi's SHALLOW Way - I thought she had depth as a character and that her flaws made her human but I realized with time that she is just a superficial , desperate, sore loser who deserves to be taunted and made fun of by the Sona-Mona and Ramona types only 🤢. She doesn't deserve a good, understanding and wonderful partner like Shiv. I thought about why Shiv doesn't appeal to Mahi and why she is always so mean to him and I concluded that being the shallow person that she is, a gem of a person like Shiv can NEVER appeal to her because

a) He is not a CHADDIMAN - you see flaunting chaddis on bill boards is the single most criterion that makes a man handsome and good looking in Mahi's world
b)He is not a feminine looking, loser NRI with questionable, possibly dual se***l orientations - you must know that such precious qualities make a man "intelligent, deep and open-minded" 👏

In comparison, Shiv is REALLY a boring handsome guy , neither a Chaddiman nor an effeminate lazy loser and additionally, he is NOT a jerk 😲 ( this quality is a MUST for Mahi to get "attracted" to a guy you see) I mean how can he treat Mahi like a human being as against a time pass or a servant maid AND with respect? 😲 Obviously she does not deserve all this. 🤢 Her absolute disregard for Shiv and the insensitivity with which she broke his heart without any regret makes me think that she is a boneheaded hypocrite who quite obviously doesn't learn her lessons despite having fallen flat on her face in the past. It is funny and irksome when Mahi complains people are judgemental about her- ha, look who's talking?! Someone needs a mirror 😡

Pre-cap: I don't feel ANYTHING for Mahi, why does she need to be cheered up and why is she upset? It is high time she realized that she has NO RIGHT to wallow in self-pity and DESERVES the heart-break, I have no sympathy for her. Now I think her Mom was right in choosing a chaddiwaale Chaddha family groom for her- Mahi deserves someone like that only. And I repeat that I have NO sympathy for Mahi whatsoever 👎🏼.

Whew! I feel better now 😆

EDIT:
And I wanted to add that IF , by some remote chance and some miracle, Mahi grows a brain and cultivates some sensibly functioning brain cells in that THICKHEAD of hers , realizes what a royal moron and heartless person she's been with Shiv, realizes his worth and decides to woo him back, I hope that Shiv gives her a hard time. Let Mahi work to make her way back into Shiv's heart, when she can work so hard to woo freaks like I-eeww-shaan and Duh-uh-ev, she MUST work double hard for Shiv, at least this time her effort would be worth it.
