it just doesnt happen ALL the time

Mahi is not ugly..she is adorable with the cutest little giggle

Its so funny..I see so many fat ugly guys in these serials with pretty wives..but no one says anything? I guess that happens ALL the time and is realistic?

BTW. I think u have missed the point of the show...!

I visited India last year

OMG..talk about shallow!

I was drowing in shallowness of indian pple there..geez

All mama boys wanted slim pretty girls...then 3 years later they are divorced..well mamas boys..u deserve it!!

it does happen...overw8 girls do find nice men but its not common...

one thing i dun lyk is how mahi is always eating....the fat ppl are not always fat cos they eat too much...its more cos of genetic reason or may b thyroid.....

btw if u can do chk out imran khan's gf avantika......she is short nd on her heavier side(more lyk short broad gurl).....dey hv been 2getha 4 like 6 yrs. n from his interview it seems like he is head over heels in love with her! so yeah it dus happen......

avantika isnt fat though. shes curvy and short. but yes imran could have found a skin-and-bones type girl to marry. truth is guys like women FULL STOP. no matter what size or shape. attraction is more than physical for men who are not shallow

I totally agree with that, but it's not about fat r slim girls.
Yes the truth is no one instantly love's a girl who's not smart, but if a person spends time with her, who knows her, well can fell in love with her character without seeing her beauty .
After all inner beuty matter's the most rather than ur looks....

The first point is that Mahi is overweight but not ugly and even if she was, so what? Physical appearances are all that matter?

I know most people would say yes to that questions but I sure hope there are still a few out there who think that being a good person is most important than having a perfect body.

I think it's really realistic. Shiv didn't fall in love with Mahi the first time he saw her, hence a guy falling for an overweight girl is not an issue.

If he does end up loving her it's not because of how good/bad she looks, it will be because he truly falls in love with the soul that resides in that body. Physical appearances don't always stay.

I guess Shiv is interested in her as a soulmate.

He has known Mahi and knows her all her faults as well as all that is good about her. So he really likes her and maybe he has seen lots of very good looking girls who might be shallow and lack some of Mahi's depth.

I think that Mahi is like a diamond in the rough sorts who can be transformed by someone who loves her for who she is and can see beyond her weighty issues..😉

I diasgree with you a 100%.. its a proven fact of human psychology and behaviour that after the age of 25 the human mind tends to be more attracted to a person who suits your lifestyle and behaviour. When we are teens we get attracted to the physical appearance.. regardless of whether the person is a good on or bad.. its just that we are infatuated with how good the person looks. But after 22-24, with our matured minds, we tend to associate our life with people we can find have long relationships with. Ofcourse outer image plays a role.. but not a huge one anymore.. it solely depends upon how you feel when you are with a certain person.

People all over the world marry people who aren't in the best shape of their life.. even if they themselves are gorgeous..

But that dosen't come in the way cuz one.. the person is very humble.. and so is shiv.. they don't believe they are hot property and aren't that shallow to base their decisions on outer appearances. Two.. somewhere they know that the other person is the better being in general..

It's all about the personality in the end.. plus, just because a guy's wife gains weight dosen't mean that he will kick her to the curb right.. it's that connection after all humans are after..

loll mahi way is like a story of my life. im not even kidding. the guy im about to marry is ten times skinnier than me. Im fat i mean just like im fat. and the guy im marrying didnt look at my physique or questioned it one bit when our rishta was about to be finalized. i feel so close to mahi like its my own life on display. sike my mom hates mahi way lol shes like they stole your life story lol

you know what? youre right. they shouldnt show her pigging out all the time like once she said its not true when everyone thinks that we as fat people are always eating. no its not cause we're human beings who eat so we can survive and we're certainly not human garbage bags.
