Let's argue about the twin bros for a change. No one talks about them 😆.

What do you think is a more logical explanation for Shalya taking Kauarava side?

I was explaining that if the marriage somehow did happen then for all the political reasons drapaudi would have been the queen since if drapaud is going to support krishna s claim for the imperial throne he will want for his daughter. That s all. Rest i agree krishna s reputation wouldn't have permitted the alliance

but Krishna land had no king and he would not be one until balram was there. And krishna had so many wives already i doubt drupad wanted draupadi to be one so many of them. It was drupads decicion more than panchali

People if you believe Krishna is God almighty and Superhuman. Then I respect your belief.

No debates or arguments there.

For me he was a very brilliant but a normal human being. A great visionary and strategist. And his martial skills were limited too.

For a very simple reason. He never got the oppprtunity for a proper training from a proper guru. Sandipani was no martial teacher. And no one can learn something like Martial training in a few months.

He was a guerilla fighter who learned from experience. He was after all chased by assassins all his childhood and kept getting attacked rest of his life too.

He was good in single combats and smaller armies.

But honestly he had no knowledge of handling a large army like Arjun had.

I dont believe any skyey announcement stopped Balram from killing Jarasandh. He just couldnt.

It was not about killing Jarasandh. It was about the consequences that Krishna Balram would face after they killed Jarasandh. Just like they learned to their chagrin after they killed Kansa.

Killing Kansa did not solve their problem. It increased it 18 times.

I hope you don't mind me asking but are you an atheist?

Just curious.

It wasn't a victory over Magadh it was just a deceitful murder of the king, they knew no one would support this, so they made Sahdev the king immidiately and arranged for Vijaya and (their) Sahdev's marriage so that there remains no point of conflict or chances for it later

sahdev was jarasangh's son?

And who was vijaya?

Yes, Harivamsa says Ekanamsa grew up in Mathura, with all the freedom and education normally reserved for boys.

vasudev was in prison. Kansa left her and did not kill her? because she was a girl?

Kamsa did not kill her because he developed an "attraction" to the baby. I don't believe it means Kamsa was a pedophile. He liked the child is all and let her live.

And she grew in Mathura with great amount of freedom and was educated like a boy.

Her given name was Kuhu, meaning new moon. Either she was dark as new moon or she was born the new moon after Krishna when the exchange happened or both. She was somehow simultaneously the daughter of Nanda and Angirasa. She carried out Krishna's missions for him.

This info is from HV and MBh, not folktales. Folktales from Orissa call Subhadra Ekanamsa, but Subhadra was a minimum of 11 years younger than Krishna. If you don't believe in magic, the only person who fits that description is Panchali. It also explains the obvious affection between the two.

I see but my question was how could Draupadi’s marriage to Pandavas help Krishna?

I am totally not an atheist.

I am a very conservative proud rationalist Hindu, who believes in the Vedas.

I believe in God almighty.

Specially the Hindu version of her ( I love to think of God in a feminine form) that says he is part of every human and hence Namaste ( I worship the God within you)

Vishnu is just a form of her that someone likes just like me and I respect that. As do for anyother form that any person may have chosen. To each their own.

However my favourite Avatar is Hanuman......

I love what he represents. Wise, Fun, cool, strong, brave, loyal, respectful to women and badass and totally awesome in every way
