I agree. Someone said that if krishna married drapaudi then she wouldn't have been queen. I was explaining that if the marriage somehow did happen then for all the political reasons drapaudi would have been the queen since if drapaud is going to support krishna s claim for the imperial throne he will want for his daughter. That s all. Rest i agree krishna s reputation wouldn't have permitted the alliance

Some time after when king Kansa was slain by Vasudeva, an enmity arose between him and Krishna. Then, O Bharata, the mighty king of Magadha from his city of Girivraja, whirling a mace ninety-nine times, hurled it towards Mathura. At that time Krishna of wonderful deeds was residing at Mathura. The handsome mace hurled by Jarasandha fell near Mathura at a distance of ninety-nine yojanas from Gririvraja The citizens beholding the circumstance well, went unto Krishna and informed him of the fall of the mace. The place where the mace fell is adjacent to Mathura and is called Gadavasan. Jarasandha had two supporters called Hansa and Dimvaka, both of whom were incapable of being slain by weapons. Well-conversant with the science of politics and morality, in counsel they were the foremost of all intelligent men. I have already told thee everything about that mighty pair. They two and Jarasandha, I believe, are more than a match for three worlds. O brave king, it was for this reason that the powerful Kukkura, Andhaka and Vrishni tribes, acting from motives of policy, did not deem it proper to fight with him.'"

But why would Drupad want this to happen? If he was actually capable of imperial campaign, wouldn't he try on his own? He wasn't that capable to fight Jarasangh

Read my about post. Someone talked who would have been the queen if krishna married panchali. Ofcourse panchali since drapaud had the most power among all krishna s in laws

About why drapaud didn't tried for imperial campaign. Because he would have definitely faced resistance from kuru another powerful kingdom. I don't think drapaud wanted them merging the kingdom together was a better option which is what they did.

He both problems internal & external both

I don't understand how Krishna with Panchal army would have defeated Jarasandh when -

1 Pandavas defeated Panchal and it was divided in half, The reason Drupad adopted Dristatumya and Draupadi

2 Jarasandh was killed by Bhima, What did Panchal or Draupadi's marriage to them had to do with this? It was Krishna's plan

As it is stated that Pandu might have died long before birth of Yudi, We know Pandavas are not Pandu’s sons, The divine birth theory makes sense when one believes in divinity, It would have been easier for Everyone if Pandu had returned to his kingdom with his son, why didn’t he? He was the King

why wouldn’t people believe that Pandavas are his sons? They couldn’t perform a paternity test

Krishna already defeated jarasandh 18 times but he wanted permanent solution that's with his plan bheem killed jarasandh.

I know about Yadav problem, the he in my original comment meant Drupad and not Krishna
