@bold- if 'his coat will also be invulnerable', his Kundalas are already invulnerable making him Invulnerable and immortal though it didn't cover his body. So even if we exclude Kavacha, Kundala is there to protect him from any kind of harm. (also Surya while warning him about Indra, repeatedly specifies the importance of Kundala) Then how still could a worm have pierced through his thigh?

understood ur point.. yet a worm piercing sounds logical.. 😊 the worm bite was not lethal that the kundal had to come to play..
