My dear Urmila,

Thanks to your PM of today, I have discovered your FF. While I have never before read 23 chapters of any FF at one go, and to be frank I read very few FFs, please rest assured that I will read them all over the next few days, and comment on them whenever I have anything to say.

I know that Yudhishtira does not enjoy a very good press, to use a modern term, but I am glad to be able to read something written from his point of view. I must congratulate you to making this brave attempt to keep your own likes and dislikes out of this narrative; it cannot have been easy.

I do not know if you watch Dharmakshetra, the weekly show on the EPIC channel, which is like a court indictment of one character after the other from the Mahabharata in Chitragupta's court.The one on Yudhishtira, spread over 2 episodes, was extremely interesting. Especially as regards his accepting that he fell in love with Draupadi the moment he first saw her, and that this influenced his readiness to follow Kunti's command that they should share and share alike. And also that he deliberately planned psychological warfare on Karna by getting Salya, as his sarathi, to insult and bait him and destroy his concentration.

More later, Incidentally, I have always had very great admiration for Swami Vivekananda, and so I like your id no end. One question: have you changed your id recently, and if so, what was it earlier?

Respected Madam,

First of all, a warm welcome to this palace of Dharmaraj 😊 This is a Temple for me. I always try to forget my own self while writing Yudhishthir's POV. I try to feel him. And to speak the truth, I love him. He is my most favorite character in MB after Lord Krishna.
But unfortunately, present generation rarely understands his nobility, and this fact pains me. I have read many novels on MB and found that most of them shows him as a perfect villain. Such a wrong message is being spread in this already corrupted society, I think so. It's time to respect Dharmaraj's Dharma if this Kaliyug wants to learn something good. That is my only intention behind this work.
I have watched Dharmakshetra serial, and did not like its first episode at all. How can they mark Yudhishthir as a 'kshamaa-heen', 'dayaa-heen' ruthless lusty man? I oppose such thought. Acording to me, the answers given in reply to yaksha prashna were not mere book knowledge, he indeed lived those answers. I did not like that they tried to prove he did not follow his own theory in his life. How come? He had forgiveness, had he not? He was kind, was he not? And as for Draupadi, I will try my best to explain this in upcoming chapters. Anyway, second episode was really good, and I loved the verdict Chitragupta gave finally.
I am a disciple of Swami Vivekananda so I keep my Guru in DP. And I have changed my DP long ago. Initially it was pic of Urmila actress from Ramananda Sagar's serial Ramayan. as a fan of Lakshman-Urmila I use her name as my ID too.

Beautiful! At one time I just forgot that I ws reading rather thought I was watching... The set up was quite similar to starbharat.
The dependence and finding of problem solver, that was the most amazing part!
Oh my innocent yudi doesnt know, where krishna was...
The karna's part also was short and sweet.

Another thing Draupadi's thoughts nd feelings werr also marvellously written very much like an ordinary girl yet very special.
You and varaali di write too good together.. (even that Yudi Arjun os was also fantastic)
