If Pandavas losing their children was punishment for their mistakes, didn't Draupadi & Subhadra suffer as well for no fault of theirs?

UpaPs dying could be passed off as the Pandavas being punished for their sins, but didn't Draupadi suffer the loss of her children too as a mother?

It's not like Abhimanyu was only Arjuna's son, he was Subhadra's son too. What mistake had Subhadra committed to suffer this loss?

Why should children be killed for the mistakes committed by their fathers? What crime had the children committed?

I find this kind of "justice" to be completely perplexing...

Oh! Have decided not to mention 'you know who' until Bhishma Parva. Haplessly hoping, these 10 days would be beyond the reach of even these hardcore fanfic writers and we may see some unadulterated stuff. But no, trust their ruts and thick nerves. They must taint even this 'void' period.
Will stick to the decision.

greater good NEVER takes into account personal loss..sad but true

If you are trying to restructure or destroy society at such a large level then such losses will happen..what we call 'collateral damage'

This is the precise reason why Arjun is confused because he is not ready for tr this justice either...

but then going by hindu mytho all material attachments are maya..your wife, children, wealth everything is mere illusion that prevents you from reaching God...only thing that matters is your karma or ultimate purpose with which you were born...and God ofcourse. So rest is irrevelant

I am not saying this is the perfect viewpoint but yes from this viewpoint it makes sense that justice would be more about preaching importance of doing one's work rather than exacting personal vengeance

anyway there's a proverb: if you take revenge you dig two graves. This was bound to happen.

The graphics was so poor..Why couldn't they use a real battlefield? The brilliant blue sky, the artificial shadows, the pathetic contrast..Everything was so tacky..

"Nav nirman" means "new beginning" of exactly what?

Is Krishna talking of the end of one yuga (Dwapar Yuga) and the beginning of the next yuga (Kaliyuga)?
Kaliyuga began with the end of Krishnavatara (36 years after the Kurukshetra war)...

If "nav-nirman" means the new age will be better than the old one (in other words, a new beginning), then, in terms of morals and ethics, exactly how is the Kaliyuga better than the Dwapar Yuga?

Have the Duryodhans, the Shakunis, and the Dushasans been wiped out from our society yet?

Is a Kurukshetra War fought each time a woman gets insulted?

It sounds so idealistic and preachy...

Why doesn't Krishna simply say that the Kurukshetra War is one of the "purposes of his birth", and, therefore it is "necessary"?

nav nirman doesn't neccesarily mean new age will be better...creation is not always a good thing just as destruction is not always a bad thing. Yet both are important.

And the very point of Kaliyuga is that this is when society reaches its nadir before Kalki comes and wipes the sinners out.

And yet just because you know that society is going to destroy itself doesn't mean you stand by and watch..the least you can do is make sure people don't straightaway hurtle into self destruction and there is at least a period of transition where you can give people certain teachings that will help them survive in the new Yug.

And the whole removing adharma, avenging Drau thing has been exaggerated by CV'S..MB is not some kids fairytale that you can look at it as a black and white heroes vs villains fantasy..it's main message is something completely different. It also talks about surrender before God, how He is present everywhere, importance of duty over filial connections etc...

actually in ⭐️bharat krishna ji has always been telling panchali and pandavas how they need to fight this war for not personal reason but for betterment of the society hence justifying the war.But as far as i know he never tells all this to pandavs(except for arjuna) and panchali in the epic.

At end of the day pandavs fight this war to get back their kingdom, druapadi wants the war to get justice for herself and krishna ji supports the war because its his purpose to establish dharma on this earth through this war .May be arjuna also fights for dharma after geeta gyan .But the way ⭐️bahart is showing that even pandavs are fighting for betterment of society is not the case in the epic

I have never laughed so hard in my life! Well...Well!! What do we have here? Ashwathama insulted Draupadi? Refresh my brain please!
I am actually quite upset..this is ridiculous! They brought up everyone and forgot Karna? Oh wait ⭐️krishna will remind ⭐️Arjun when he is down pulling at the wheel! I forgot!

Where is Sanjay and Dritarashta? Did they totally forget about them? Sanjay is suppose to narrating Arjun's every move to Dritarashta! He heard the Geeta as well!

it didn't give me that feel, ⭐️Krishna here is way too pro-Draupadi! ( My opinion do not bash)!!

And what's with the time freeze? looked ridiculous!

And I have read the Gita and am quite familiar with the shlokas...I hope to see improvement in the coming episodes!

StarPlus you are doing a Staralicious job of entertaining the youth with garbage!

I don't know what I just watched ... I swear when Krishna was narrating the negative events that Bhishma, Drona, Dury, and co did to the Pandavas and Panchaali, and Arjun was like I want to kill them ... I thought that the Gita has been saved by Starization. I was wrong.

Welcome to the family StarGita.

Now some serious questions:
1. What is the ground made up of?
It looks like sand from every angle. When Arjun drops his bow when he is surrendering to Madhav, some grains of sand fly up into the air. But when the camera has a top shot looking down on Arjun, the ground is wetter and more dirty than sandy.

2. I think I understand why Krishna is on the Pandavas side -- they are the ones with the new dharma which overpowers the fact that they have dharma and adharma on their side (or they hold it or something).

3. Why is StarKrishna so mean?
I get in the Gita that Krishna initially mocks Arjun because of his sudden change in attitude, but was he pissed off as the CVs portray him to be. It's like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed and until the light shines on him, he is pretty mean.

4. What's with the light at the end? It falls from the sky which per whatever I've seen relating to that is when someone is receiving enlightenment from God. There are people who believe that Krishna, while speaking the Gita, was no longer Krishna. Some people believe "time" or "Kaal" entered Krishna and spoke through Krishna (which I don't get) but this particular scene reminds me of this because Krishna just randomly changes from a condescending tone to a friendly tone.

I'll say this much -- if I was younger, I would enjoy watching this Gita scene from StarBharat. Back when I was a kid, I never enjoyed watching the Gita scenes from BRC because it was "boring' to me ... but I can see younger people watching this and enjoying this ... hopefully that ends up being a good thing, but my expectations are such that I see it as a bad thing.

They are both individually good, even SS's pitch variations seemed apt today. Probably because the connection between the 2 was not really showcased except for that one song in the beginning I just don't feel it. For example, I can actually believe the Pandavs are brothers. There is an ease even in their saddest scenes together. This feels forced

But SS's fear and indecision really came through today. SRJ was pitch perfect in his angry persuasion

But something is missing. Can't put my finger on it
