i agree no one can do anything about this becuase this is Arjun's character he is supposed to be proud and vain.Humility wasnt a characterstic known to him.He was a hero but a flawed one that is what makes him intresting.infact i am glad they are not showing Arjun as a saint becuase he wasnt that he was very proud of who he was

Arjun was always proud about his skills & that is what shown in epi. Shaheer is doing justice to the character... So no overconfidence here...

but its just the situation that portray's him lyk that ...like others also said he dnt said it by himself, it was karn who started, neither karn nor arjun was that rude or over confident, its karn's grief n anger which is speaking n arjun just replied n like the way yudi stops him 👏... we need to understand them

Yes he was shown very proud and he seems to be taking no cognizance of his elder brothers. Yudi was the head of the brothers and in his presence the younger ones would keep silent and let him speak unless sth was directed to them specifically.

Okay let me tell you that Arjuna and Karna both were full of themselves and were too proud of their skills.
At different point of times both were told that not to be too full of themselves.

Karna was told by bheeshma that he was only rude to him because he had ego and he was too proud of himself

Arjuna was told by Shri krishna himself when karna and arjuna's battle was about to happen tha karna is the foremost of heroes, krishna even warned arjuna about karna because arjuna was full of over-confidence.

Arjun confidence, would feel like overconfidence. we forget that Arjun is not a new age character. he was the hero of India's greatest epic Mahabharata. he was the warrior prince, the epitome of perfection, son of a God, Lord Krishna favorite, he was trained by the best teacher and became the best student, he never doubted his skills, he didnt want to prove that he was the best dhanurdhari, like Karan did, Arjun was not driven by ambition to be recognised as greatest, and that is why he simply was the greatest.

Karan was ruled by ambition, he wanted to be recognised as the best dhanurdhari, he wanted to rise above the didates of society at that time, so he accept a kingdom given in dhan, a kingdom he didnt earn with his own powers, and struggles. but he is now king and pride has taken the place of his self respect, that he left behind to become Dhuyodhan stooge.

and Arjun was right when he said that he would never fight to take karan place, which was at dhuyodhan feet. Because he was Arjun and was destined to kneel with pious devotion at the feet of Lord Krishna the incarnate of the supreme God Vishnu, to be blessed with the wisdom and knowledge of Dharam.

Karan vowed that if he ever came face to face with Arjun in the battle field, Arjun would die at his hand, dont we all know how that ended and who died at whose hand?

most of us know the story, and how it ended, who was right and who was wrong? who won and who lost?

i loved the Mahabharat 20 years back , and i love the Mahabharat today, and Arjun will always be my favorite Pandava, then Bheem,but most of all i love the greatest, diplomat and strategist, Lord Krishna who engineered this great epic.

Oh did arjun got humiliated infront of thousands of people? That too twice, did arjuna got rejected from the society? Did arjun got rejected by the any teacher ? Did arjuna got rejected by his mother? , ya we all know that how the war ended but most of the people do know that karna knew arjuna was his brother karna didn't had the same fire he is having now many people forget the fact that arjun did not kill karna,arjuna killed karna with 3 curses, indra and kunti's efforts,and Lord Krishna's help there is a huge difference between those 2 karna.

Shri krishna wanted Arjun to show respect to Karna because not only was he one of the foremost heroes, but unknown to Arjun he was also Arjun brother. and Shri Krishan knew that Karna was going to die at Arjun's hands. he knew that if Arjun showed disrespect to this man before his death, Arjun would never be able to forgive himself for disrespecting his older brother, once he came to know the truth. he wanted to spare Arjun the pain and remorse for killing his own brother, by making Arjun grant him the respect due to a warrior before killing him.
