I don't think that he was trying to answer to those people whom he could as a child,Shakuni,Doryodhan,Karan. For it was like to show them that they are not weak kids any more as both Bhesham and Vidhur are not doing enough what they told Kunti about her kids protection.

Did arjuna got rejected by his mother? , ya we all know that how the war ended but most of the people do know that karna knew arjuna was his brother karna didn't had the same fire he is having now many people forget the fact that arjun did not kill karna, arjuna killed karna with 3 curses, indra and kunti's efforts, and Lord Krishna's help there is a huge difference between those 2 karna.

sure Karna had it rough, times were hard, and the world was not fair to all, but dont you think that a young man who professed he had the skill and ability to defeat and warrior, choose even greater reason for humiliation by accepting a kingdom given as alms, and not won by him. karna fate was sealed the moment he sided with duryodhan, his fate was sealed when his own deeds earned him his curses. Arjun was only the implement (the means) used by the gods to cause (an End) the fall of Karna,
and humiliation was faced by the pandavas as well, and they also went through struggles when exiled for 12 years living in the forest as nomads and a year living in disguise. so how come you think karnas humiliation or struggles were any greater.

Pandavs know very well that they have to be tough to survive in Hastinapur. The game plan at their arrival and fall of the gate on Arjun were enough proofs for them to understand that they are not welcome there same when they first came there.

i am totally disspointed with the new cast of all the groun up kauravas and pandavas

dialogue delivery-not apt
dialogues- use urdu terms like shak
arjun was a very great warrior, brother but yudhisthir was elder and he always got his due respect, but here it seems like a arjun is all in one
etiquettes are missing

i was loving the young kaurav and pandav but loosing interest now :(

oh yes..Karna is amazing,

I don't know how much overconfident was Arjuna in the original Mahabharata but in SP's Mahabharata, he is definitely very much proud of himself & overconfident.. Same is the case with Bheem, he is so immodest.. always keeps boasting about himself..

In SP's Mahabharata, I find Karna to be very calm & serene (the qualities that Arjuna possessed) & Bheem is a big bully (the qualities that the Kauravas had).

And Karna has suffered more humiliation, hatred from many..and the humiliation that Pandavas suffered during their exile is not more than what Karna had suffered throughout his life..The humiliation which the Pandavas suffered was temporary but Karna was permanently used to all these right from his childhood & that too for no valid reason he always suffered..
Don't compare Pandava's sufferings with Karna's..there's a huge different b/w the two..

I think that while Arjun was partially overconfident, he had slight reason. I have in the past heard that he was overconfident due to the fact that he had faith in the teachings of Drona. He has also beaten nearly everybody he had faced off according to Mahabharat. But I just agree that Bheem was especially cocky and overconfident.

One more point is, Karna was alone till the time Dury entered his life.

I won't start a Karna vs Arjun post here at the moment 😆

But it's true that pandavas are being portrayed as rude, arrogant and over-confident people. How can younger ones speak like that when elder is over there?
Reading some posts I'm feeling as if people are favouring the actor and not the character 😆

I must agree with Shruti here... Karan was alone the entire time and the pandavas are all being shown in shades of gray. I must also point out that even in the forest, The Pandavas had a fairly easy life while Karna had to face hardship for being a charioteers son.
