Love In Disguise
Part-2

"The address" Rk forward the chit to madhu.
"Ok, thanks for this Rk. And Bye bittuji, Take care" Madhu slips the paper in her purse.
"Bye madhubala ji" bittuji reciprocates as madhu walks out of the cabin. Bittuji turns back to find Rk glaring at him.
"Chief ?"
"OUT !" Rk shouted. Bittuji never smiled with him in all these years but here he is giving toothy smile to this madhubala !!
Rubbish !!
But then have he ever smiled ?? So that bittuji can smile with him !! His inner voice questions him.

"Hey veer" madhu greets as she enters veer's cabin to find him with his back towards the entrance.
"Madhubala ? U here ?" Veer asked in surprise turning to her.
"Yes, i have something to talk" madhu said as she sits opposite to veer as veer looks at her disinterested.
"What now ?" He asked trying his best to look enthusiastic.
"Papa is going to talk to pandit ji for dates, and i heard mohan uncle too planned for meeting in a day"
"Hmm.. So ?"
"Am very happy with this marriage veer. I like u so much. Am very excited" madhu spoke merrily as veer gives a plastic smile.
"Ok, so. At first i was skeptical but now I think we can make this marriage work. What do u say ? I came to have the last talk. U know we cant go back from here" she spoke.
"Ofcourse. Am serious about u" veer states making madhu relieved.
"Thankyou veer" madhu smiles happily, and walking around she hugs veer.
"I should get going now"
"Sure" he opens door for her as she walks out dreaming about her new life.

"Sorry babes, Was with that irritating madhubala" rk was sitting on dinning table having his dinner alone when he heard veer talking in phone as he walks in the hall.
"She is expert in eating brain. Veer i am so happy with our marriage. Veer i like u. Blah.. Blah.." Veer spoke "yes, i'll make sure after marriage she keep to herself."
Rk didnt want to overhear him intruding his privacy or anything but he cant help listening to him as his voice is audible to Rk.
"Dad wanted this marriage as our stupid kundalis matched & he threatened me with the property too. Besides one day or other i have to marry right, so let be it to madhubala" veer continued as he walked upstairs to his room. Rk looks at veer's retreating back, as his thoughts involuntarily drifted to madhubala.
"No.. Its their decision. She is crazy about veer. She should be the one to deal with him. She'll adjust. She is same as him." He shrugged his thoughts. No way he is going to interfere in veer's life. He is most pleased to maintain distance from veer & his life.

"Patil, set the table. They may arrive any time soon" mohan ordered adjusting his coat, waiting for maliks, as he has invited maliks for dinner & to fix the dates.
"And call veer downstair"
"Ok sir" patil left. Mohan walk across the hall & made himself comfortable in one of the sofa, picking up a magazine he starts flipping, when he spot Rk descending down from his room with bittuji engrossed in talking with him.
"Rishab" he called, his voice unfriendly, as Rk reached downstairs. Bittuji quietened as Rk looks at Mohan.
"Maliks are coming over for the dinner. Pay them visit once when they are here." Mohan looks at Rk.
"Ok" he spoke in monosyllable as he gesture bittuji to come along & they walk out of the hall to the garden.

Soon, the maliks arrived, mohan & malik exchanged greetings, sitting in hall they started chit chatting. Veer showed his face once & then moved in his room promising to join them later. Sitting with elders, madhu started to get bore with their talks, and that is when she look for her phone.
"Phone ?" She searched her clutch. Oh its in car !
"Papa !" She interrupt their conversation "i left my phone in car, can i get it ?"
"Sure madhu" mohan said instead of malik. Taking car keys, madhu walks from there to get her phone.
Taking her phone, locking the car's door, she was to made her way inside when she spot Bittuji with laptop & file, sitting in a wide bench under bright light in the garden. Instantly she thought to pay him visit and walks to bittuji.
"Bittuji ?" She asked surprise.
"Hello madhubalaji" bittuji smiled at her not at all surprised.
"What are u doing here in garden, in this time of night ?" She asked and before bittuji could answer she answered her own question.
"Ooo.. Having date with office files" she winked at him chuckling, embarrassing bittuji.
Meanwhile, hanging up the call, Rk was about to join bittuji in preparation of file when he notice that bittuji is not alone.
"We are working on project. Chief just got a call so he excused himself" bittuji answered.
"Seriously bittuji. What the eff is wrong with ur chief ? Agree u are gullible person, but that doesnt mean he will trick u to work like this. Mark my words bittuji he is taking advantage of u" madhu said so sure of herself which made Rk clench his jaws. Advantage of bittujj ?? For god's sake woman, use ur brain !!
"Its not like that.." Bittuji tried to protest.
"U're always around him like busy bee. Dont he have words like Holiday, time over in his dictionary" madhu questions.
"No, i dont !" Came the horse voice, madhu frowned & turn around to find Rk standing behind her.
"I was saying.." She starts to clear herself, while he walk past her & stands next to bittuji.
"He is family & there is no time limit for family" Rk spoke before madhu could speak anything else.
"Bittuju is like my elder brother" rk said keeping his hand over bittuji's shoulder, looking at madhu, as bittuji smiled.
"That is what i was going to say." Bittuji agreed. Madhu can see the brotherly bond between Rk & Bittuji, so she too shrugged it off.
"Wont u come inside ? Everyone is inside" she spoke to no one in particular.
"We'll join in a while" Rk replied.
"Okie" she nods & move from there to join the rest.

"Chief i have put the quotes" bittuji said as Rk starts assembling the papers.
"Bittuji, u should start maintaining distance from her" Rk said instead, confusing bittuji.
"Who chief ?" Bittuji asked perplexed.
"Madhubala" keeping all papers rk focuses his attention on bittuji.
"Why chief ? And she herself came to talk..."
"Thats what am telling bittuji. She is friendly now cause she dont know the truth. She is marrying Veer. Think practically bittuji. When time will come she will follow up Veer's way, cause he will be her husband & U very well knows what kind of relation I, Veer, and Mohan Kundra share." Rk ended in grim voice as bittuji nodded understandingly.
"In the end u will be the one to be hurt with her indifference." Rk added taking a deep breath. Bittuji is the only family he has, and he dont anyone to hurt bittuji, neither did he wans to share bittuji's affection with others.

"Well, then 1 week ?" Mohan asked.
"We dont have any problem" malik agreed.
"Its fix then. Madhubala's & Veer's marriage would be in next week" mohan declared, as all celebrate the good news with sweets. Madhu was sitting beside Malik looking at Veer who is with Mohan, while Rk & Bittuji too were present there in their celebration.
Rk notice madhu giving admiring looks to Veer, who is occasionally passing smile at her. Rk wonder for a while as on what kind of girl she is, always lost in her own lil happy world, ignorance to the wide world around !!

*Marriage Day*

The preparations were going on its full swing. The places are being decorated with lights & flowers for the grand evening.
In kundra mansion, servants were running around the house to set everything.
"Sir, Mohan sir has send this, he asked u to try on it once more" a servant came running to veer, with his marriage sherwani as he descend down the stair.
"Hmm.. U go" veer disperse the servant, opening the zip of the plastic decor, he take out the sherwani & was going to Try on it when he spot Rk coming out of his room while talking to someone in phone. A mischievous smirk cross his lips as he called Rk.
"Rk.. Here"
Rk halts in his steps as he saw veer standing mere distance away from him.
"I'll call u later" Rk whispered, hanging up the call, he slid his phone in his denim's pocket, and walks to Veer, reluctantly.
"What ?" Rk spoke gravely.
"My marriage it is, whatelse ?" Veer said sarcastically.
"Congratulations then" Rk said in same tone & turn to walk away when veer stops him.
"Wait dude.. Atleast behave like brothers sometimes rather only to pretend".
Rk gave a sideways glance to veer.
"Ok, not in everything atleast u could help me in checking this shewani" veer proposed to which rk didnt said anything.
"Thats like my brother !" Veer thumped Rk's shoulder, as he put on the dress & asked Rk to button up.
"Yaar, this middle button isnt helping. See this".
A dispassionate Rk, raise his fingers to the buttons & starts buttoning.
"Looking breathtaking ! Am i not ?" Veer asked to which Rk nodded.
"U can feel this marriage bliss seeing me cause ur fate dont have the marriage line, poor u !" Veer mocks as Rk stares at him coldly.
"Which girl will agree to marry a pathetic man like u. First these ugly deep scar on ur face & then.." Veer smirks as he moves closer to Rk.
"Ur identity crises" veer whispered in Rk's ears. Rk clench his jaws as he pushed veer away.
"Mind u own business" Rk said through clenched jaws.
"And that reminds me" veer didnt back away "Marriage is not in ur blood even. You are a b****rd's so.."
"Shut up" Rk yelled outraged, as he throws a punch at veer's face.
"U b*****d" veer spit, as he too punch Rk hardly. In return rk kicked him, and both started fighting with each other. Bittuji entered the hall to find Rk & Veer fighting furiously.
"Chief" Bittuji shouted & with help of other servant he pulls away Rk from veer.
"Take him away" veer yelled, as Bittuji pulled a furious Rk to his room.
"Chief, calm down.."
"Leave me alone" rk roared, kicking a chair in his room, out of anger.
"Chief".
"LEAVE ME ALONE !"
Seeing Rk is not in his sane form, Bittuji leave from there, giving Rk his much needed space.

"this last touch up" the beauticians said as they groomed madhu for her big day. Sitting in her room in bridal attire, doing the last minute touch up, she could hear the commotions from outside. Just in few minutes her marriage is going to take place. She will enter into a new relation. She will become wife of someone. Life is perfect for her & with veer it will become more perfect.

"Call the bridegroom, its muhurat" panditji said sitting near the holy fire.
"Ji pandit ji" said tensed malik as he excused himself, and walks to another room.
"Where is veer mohan ?" Malik questioned.
"I dont know malik. He is not picking up the call. He was supposed to come in another car." Said equally tensed mohan who is busy calling veer, along with Rk & Bittuji who is trying their contacts to track out veer.
"What'll i do now Mohan ? If veer didnt wanted to marry why did he pull the act ?" Malik asked tensed "leaving a note on marriage day & get disappeared."
Rk & Bittuji looks at miserable condition of malik from far. Malik is like father figure to Rk, he cant see him like this.
"Bittuji, call commissioner, we need to get Veer at any cost" Rk turns to bittuji.
"I already called chief." Bittuji assured "Do u think its cause of the fight u had with veer in the morning ? May be he is taking revenge ?"
"No bittuji. Its not cause of that" Rk instantly denied cause veer was never interested in the marriage. He has heard veer saying it, but he thought veer will do anything for Mohan. No one thought veer would take such drastic step in the end.
"Malik.." A worried padmini came running in the room drawing the attention of all men "Muhurat started. Panditji is asking for Veer ? Everyone is talking. Madhu will too come down stairs in few minutes. What will we do ?"
"Madhu.." Malik whispered "if this marriage dont happen what will happen to madhu ? A girl walking in mandap & the marriage never happens, do u know what it means mohan ?" Malik became angry now as Rk looks at him with concern.
"What'll i answer my daughter whom i promised the best husband ? After this i doubt even we could get any good relation for her." Malik charged mohan.
"Malik i understands, i am trying to reach veer. I never thought he'll do that" mohan reasoned.
"But he did. And madhu ? Its considers as a bad omen if a girl walks out of the altar without marrying." Padmini spoke.
"Padmini ji.." Mohan started but was interrupted with a voice.
"uncle aunty.." A girl knock on the door. "I'll see" padmini said & opens the door.
"Pandit ji is calling & he asked to bring madhu & veer ji down" the girl who is madhu's friend said.
"U go beta we're coming" padmini said & closed the door.
"Now what will we do ? If this marriage dont happen now, madhu's name will be tarnished" padmini said in fright.
"This veer.." Mohan furiously banged throws his phone.
"Veer is not important now" malik said gravely "I only care for my daughter now cause in this if anyone is going to be victim then its madhu only".
At his words, everyone present there looks at malik. Indeed he is saying right. The girl will be punish for no mistake, the society wont take her will open arms, cause she has been once rejected in altar.
"What are u thinking of doing ?" Mohan asked.
"Madhu should get married in this mandap" malik said.
"Veer is not here" padmini said.
"Not veer, but anyone who can marry her" malik looks at padmini.
"Who ?" Mohan asked, as Malik turns to him.
"Ur one son fled away but ur other son is here", as soon as those words were out of malik's mouth Rk's eyes flash to him.
"Have u lost ur mind malik ? U are talking about Rishab ?" Mohan screamed.
"We are in this situation cause of ur son" mohan said.
"That doesnt mean u will marry off madhu to any random man. Why are u punishing madhu for veer's deed ?" Mohan said enraged & Rk looks at mohan with unfathomable expression.
"Life will be like a punishment for her if she dont get married tonight" malik & mohan entered into heated argument.
"She is like my daughter. I care for her too. I'll find the best man for her" mohan promised.
"If thats the case then Veer would be here & we wont be having this discussion right now" malik almost lost it.
"That doesnt mean u will handover her to the any guy next to spoil her life."
"Let me, her father, decides that" malik said coldly.
"Fine, do what u want !" Mohan shouted outraged & marched out of the room.
"I want to talk to Rishab alone" malik said in composed tone & padmini, bittuji went out leaving malik & Rk alone. Rk who was silent throughout the conversation looks up at malik.
"Dad is right. Its haste decision." Rk said to malik.
"Saying is different thing & living with it is different" malik cut off.
"Am not worthy of her" rk spoke.
"Plz dont repeat other words from ur mouth" malik said stepping close to Rk "i want to talk to u. I want to know ur thoughts, ur words."
"Its not right" Rk shook his head. He dont lose hold on situation but this is entirely different.
"Dont u like madhu ? Is there something in her that detaste u ?" Malik ask.
"No.. She is perfect" Rk spoke instantly recalling madhu's image in his mind. She is everything a girl should be, pretty, cheerful, caring.
"Then ?" Malik urged.
"Havent u seen my face" for the first time Rk openly speak about his scar.
"Has she or us ever point it out to u ?" Malik counter, startling Rk. No, she never mentioned, hell !! She didnt even care for it, neither did malik. Malik & his family has never treated him with indifference.
"No" rk mumbled.
"Then ?"
"U dont know about me" Rk stares into malik's eyes.
"I know u r adopted" malik said shocking Rk. Ok, so mohan has told him.
"There is more of it. Am sure u dont know the whole truth" Rk said.
"Tell me then" malik demanded, rk turns around, keeping his hand on window pane.
"Am born out of wedlock. For my biological mother i was a mistake whom she wanted to abort, but couldnt. I dont know anything properly. I only know what i have been told by the sister in the orphanage." Rk turns to malik as malik waited for him to continue.
"Certain situation arise in last month of pregnancy, when my biological mother opted to poison for suicide. But she was saved, so did i, and these marks on my face are the effects of that poison."
Rk waited for any reactions from malik but it didnt came.
"I was brought up in orphanage & when i was of 2-3 years maa adopted me"
"Maa ?" Malik intervene.
"Radha kundra" rk said with soft smiled playing on his lips.
Mohan & radha Kundra was childless couple. 7 years of their marriage, and they didnt had their own child. Radha craved for child, she opt for adoption but mohan was never in favour of adoption. Though he donate in orphanage but he just cant accept someone's else kid as his own. But his immense love for Radha made him accept Radha's wish. They adopted Rishab at the age of 2. Radha got her son in Rishab. For her Rishab was her life, but Mohan had never accepted Rk but he dont despise him either. For mohan, Rk is just a member living in his family whom his wife love dearly.
With time, Radha conceived Veer, and Mohan got his own son, his own heir. For Radha both Rk & Veer were equal, though she had soft spot for Rk more cause he is the first one to made her feel as mother.
Years passed, and Radha died, with that the thread between mohan & Rk too. They were never close. Radha had some business holding in market, and Rk was Minor Partner. As he grew up, he reinvested the returns & that is how he has market standing of his own. Radha has given him everything, love, survival, happiness. But she left, a way too soon !

By the time Rk ended, he had hint of discreet tear in corner of his eyes. He dont open up about his life, cause it only give him pain. Malik silently stand next to Rk keeping his hand on his shoulder.
"Am sorry to open ur old wound" malik said.
"U need to know it" Rk said in composed voice.
"Only week people look out for past. Now, All i can see is a man who has build his life with hardships around. Ur past dont matter, Ur Rishab for me, and I trust u with my daughter. Will u marry her ?" Malik asked. Rk stares at Malik dumbstruck. Malik is accepting him as he is.
"U should ask madhu, cause if anyone who is going to be most affected with the decision then its her" Rk said. Yes, he has seen the fondness for veer in her eyes. He doubts she will agree to this.
"She is not in the state of taking decision & i also know with time she will accept it. May be she is immature but not insensitive. As a father, my daughter' s wellbeing matters most. May be not now but One day she will understand me" malik said with determination.
"But its wrong to hide it from her. Sitting in altar with the thought of one man & getting married to other man ?" Rk reasoned.
"Plz Rishab, we'll tell her truth afterwards. For now, this marriage is important. We are running out of time"
"But.. Mr. Malik.."
"Will u take my daughter as ur wife, Rishab ?" Malik asked again, as Rk fell silent.
"Yes" After a minute, Rk nodded.
"Thankyou son" malik hugged Rk.
Soon, Rk was dressed in Sherwani which malik family brought for groom. Rk was sitting near the holy fire wearing sehra, covering his face, while pandit ji chants mantras. Madhu as the most beautiful bride, sat beside her groom following up the ritual unknown to the fact that her groomed changed a while ago. She looks at the man next to her, his face cover with sehra. Thinking it to be veer she smiled, while Rk stares at the fire.
He never dreamt for marriage, though he wished for a partner. But then he knew no girl or her family would accept him, for his past & present. And here, he is sitting, weaving a new life & relation. God is giving him what he secretly wished for. He will put his everything to this new relation. He vowed.

Soon the marriage was over by the last phrase of night. For the day next, Malik make sure to keep madhu away from the truth & Rk, till the evening arrive for bidaii.
"Rishab" malik excused Rk for a Minute, his face still covered with sehra.
"Madhu dont know about it yet"
"Means i have to tell her ?" Rk removed his sehra, as they are alone in a room. Malik nodded as Rk sighed. All he have to do is to remove the sehra, and then she would blast off.
"As a father i have given her what i could. Now as a Husband, its all upto u, how u will handle her. Am giving my only daughter to u, plz take care of her" malik urged.
"I'll" Rk assured with conviction in his eyes.

After the teary bidaii, madhu was brought to her new house, which is decorated grandly. Few people stayed for sometime, then dropping her to the newly decorated room, they left. Madhu notice this room is different from veer's room as the stairs to veer's room is in middle of hall while the stairs to this room is in corner. Thinking it to be change in location, she shrugged it off. She sits with baited breath as she heard the approaching foot steps. Ok, agree she has met veer few a times, still she feels jittery.
Unsure of what to face, Rk opens the door & step in taking off his sehra. He closed the door, and looks around at the red decor, who the hell could thought that they could have s*x in such messy situation. Then his eyes landed on madhu who was sitting with veil on her face. Seeing her was never this awkward before. Though malik told him to handle her in his own way yet it going to be difficult for him. Without beating around the bushes, he calls her.
"Madhu.."
As his voice reached her ears, she looks up instantly from her veil she could see Rk standing with sehra in one hand, with the room's door being closed behind him. What the hell is he doing in the room in her wedding night !
"Rk ?" Madhu asked with shock cum surprise removing the veil off her face, climbing down the bed with heavy jewellery & bridal dress. He looks at the shocked face of the pretty lady standing in front of him as his wife. She is looking divine, he almost got mesmerised by her.
"Things didnt went as it was planned" he spoke to her with approaching steps keeping his sehra on table.
"What things ? What plan? And what are u doing here ? Where is veer ?" She asked in one go stepping back. She is in no mood to entertaining this guy right now, she want her husband, she dont feel good being with Rk in the room. Its feel awkward. Her breath fastened.
"Madhu dont panic. Sit here & listen to me" he said. He can see, she is getting panicky.
"Rk plz. Call veer. I want to Veer. VEER !" She called out for veer.
"He is not here" he said as he neared her.
"Not here ? Not here means, he have to be here VEER.." Madhu step back till she hit the wall. Her body temperature shoot up at the possibility of something bad.
"He didnt came to mandap. He left out leaving a note of not marrying u" Rk stands in front of her, as she shook her head in negative not believing him.
"U are lying. I.. I married Veer. He was with me. I dont even get why are u we talking of this. Why am i even listening to u.. Go out.."
"U are married to me" Rk cleared try his best to hold his patience.
"Shut up !" Madhu yelled.
"Thats the truth" Rk didnt back way.
"Lie.. !! Why are u here.. Go out.. Veer, i want to go to Veer" madhu said frantically as she tries to walk past Rk, while he grips her wrist.
"Dont touch me" madhu shoved his hand & she ran to open the door, with tears flowing down her eyes. Nothing got registered in her mind except for the fact that, Veer is not here, and she want to go to him, wherever he is !
Rk rushed to her, before she could open the door, and pulls her away from the door. She definitely cant go out screaming in night.
"Leave me.. Why are u touching me ? Veer.. Open the door.." She cried fervently trying her best to get out of Rk's hold.
"Shut up & listen to me" Rk held her harshly against the wall, clamping her mouth with his palm, frightening her. He is losing his patience with her, neither she wants to hear nor she want to understand anything except for veer.
"Veer abandoned u in the altar, and ur father asked me to replace him. U got married to me. Am ur husband & that gives me the right to touch u. Get it !" Madhu looks at him with tears soaked eyes, being trapped in between him & the wall.
"Veer has left & HE IS NOT Going to come back. No matter how much u cry" he continued pressing himself to her as she continues to struggle to be free from his grasp, her duppata from her head & shoulder fallen off to ground.
"I cant give u the life u dreamt with veer, but i wont give u anything less either. I have promised ur father of ur happiness". He spoke as he release her from his hold stepping back, leaving her shivering in anger.
"U want to take time, have it but dont make it difficult on my part" rk give her his last stance.
"I dont accept this marriage" madhu screamed, as tears of pain, hurt, anger, betrayal flows down her eyes.
"No are no one to me. I wont live here" she cried bitterly, moving to the door, when again Rk grabs her by her waist, wrapping his hand firmly on her bare waist.
"This is ur home. U have to live here" Rk said through his clenched jaws.
"Leave me Rk.. I never thought u will be like this" madhu said feeling disgusted by his touch, as she struggle in his grasp.
"Ur angry right now. Sit & think calmly" Rk said but didnt let her go.
"Leave me.. I want to go back ... Papa... Veer.. " madhu cried hysterically falling on her knees, sinking on floor. Rk can see her breaking every second, effecting her health.
"Stop crying madhu.."
"My home.. I want to go to my home.." She kept repeating the same thing as Rk didnt let her go free from his grasp, and soon after few minutes, Rk felt her numb & fragile body on the floor. The day's fatigue & the shock took better of her, as she drowned in unconsciousness. Rk picks her up from floor, scooping up in his arms, he placed her softly on bed, adjusting her head on pillow, he sat beside her, staring at her tears soaked face.
He can understands that its not easy for her to accept the changes. Even he too never thought that there would be any girl in his life, but she came, and he wont let her go.

Madhu flutter her eyes, as she feels her swollen heavy eyes. She sit up straight in bed throwing the quilt off her. Seeing her surrounding everything from previous night came back to her.
"Noo.. " she mumbled, and climbing down the bed she run out of the room, colliding with Rk in midway.
"Madhu.." He held her wrist stopping her.
"LEAVE ME !" She screamed, her eyes red shot. In reply Rk clenched his jaws, he dont take this tone from anyone, ANYONE !!

Nice update dear😊Rk is a gentleman because of malik he agreed to marry madhu.I know first madhu feels sad and later she accept rk with her heart.The happiness is rishbala got married😉Rk and madhu has no love between them and soon they will love each other😃
