Today was a difficult episode to review. Because each of the three lead characters ( yes Gautam Hegde, I'm including Sultan😡)...was right, was wrong, was humiliated, did not deserve what they got from each other.

Dipsy and her item number was a sure fire hit. Sikky and Dips dance well together. What is she grumbling about, they are absolutely made for each other😆!! Today was her day..when her strategy worked and she got what she wanted. Tomorrow is another day...Dipsy...be alert😡

Once again, second episode when RK-Madhu seemed absolutely happy and relaxed with each other. Loved the way Madhu was almost leaning on RK, while watching the dance. I could watch the episode again, just to watch the gentle comfort creeping in..😳

So in all fairness:
RK - His reactions are always OTT. Did madhu deserve to be humiliated once again in public? Definitely not. Why RK, (why CVS). But was RK not justified in his rant at Sultan? He's trying to work things out with his wife. Unsure about the role that Sultan plays in her life. And she's not helping. And definitely, Sultan is not helping by landing up each time, the couple seem close to happy.I saw a great amount of hurt in his eyes whenever he spoke to madhu. i cannot get the dialogues right...something like..Hum Ahaa bhi kare toh humne khatha ki, aur who katl bhi kare toh bolna padega wah kya ada thi'.I though he indicated to Madhu 'this man tried to shoot me, was that okay and now you're stopping me??
His punch was also justified...Sultan making too many presumptions. At the end of the day, they're a couple, noone has the right to interfere, interpret, understand, misunderstand except the couple...(I know I know, i will come to the buts😆)

Madhu- Felt sorry for her today, completely caught between RK - her love and Sultan,-her friend, knowing that there has been a huge miscommunication. She did not call Sultan. But she has been giving out wrong signals. Did she see that when Sultan said to RK...'do not say anything about madhu'?? Did'nt she think that RK as her husband has every right to be angry when he said that? Sultan following her subtle indications...not needed madhu...grow up, Mother Hen. Sultan is a big boy, can take care of himself, he is not Aryan. Ok, i did sense that she wanted to avoid further public tamasha.

Sultan- I felt most sorry for him today, as much as I do not like his character. Bahut kuch sunna pada. Coming to the party was not his fault. yes, he should have weighed the consequences of coming to a party where her 'rakshas' husband is likely to be present. But his saying...madhu ke baare mein, mujhse bardaasht nahi hoga etc...was out of line. Why could'nt he have said, there has been a miscommunication, apologised to RK, Radhaji and walked out. If RK stopped him, come on, he could've shaken him off, and walked out.

My last take: Sorry, none of the three leads deserve to be bashed today. Dipali is the one who deserves to be bashed, but we know what's coming for her, so we cannot bash her beyond a point😆

Was a little hard to review this episode. I was appalled in places, and fast forwarded a little, but have to go back and view it completely.

VD was superb as RK the outraged husband, thinking that he has been betrayed. And those dialogues filled with relevant questions, delivered with the veneer of civility but anger burning inside.

Madhu didn't have much to do, mainly giving confused looks. Sultan - okay, he said he should leave, but then doesn't leave? Is it so hard for a mafia don to use his two feet and make an exit? Guess not - if the objective is for him to spout a few saintly lines on how to respect a woman, blah blah blah. I see a day not too far away, when in addition to the "Deva, Deva" BG score, we'll see a soft candle-lit halo around his head.

The punch - good job RK! Would however have liked it to be an all out brawl - rather than Madhu yet again protecting Sultan and preventing him from retaliating from the punch RK delivered him.

Dips - the serpent in the garden of Eden was yuckily playing up to RK.

What a sweet fleeting moment when RK sings along to Madhu.

Wonder how they will come out of this humiliating public display - certainly RK will look blacker than black, but what about Madhu. And Sultan - was anyone from Mumbai police present at the party?

The precap: So the invitation matter is going to be resolved privately at RK mansion. Would have been a good idea to adjourn over there much much earlier. Talk about insane jealousy overwhelming any common sense.

Sultan deserved a punch .. He assumes too much ... He thins RK hits MAdhu... Obviously they want to paint RK black but still I loved today's episode... At this I am really not bothered about what happens in future in this serial

Note: I admit I watched in in FF manner and will need to go back to watch it in detail. However these are my unvarnished feelings about it.

I for one am glad that RK did all that drama in public in full view of all those aunties. That has kept his reputation intact while tarnished both Sultan and Madhu. Sultan, I don't care about but Madhu I do. This is a much needed lesson for Madhu as to how she will now be perceived by the society in general. The same aunties who were marveling her jodi with RK will now look at her with suspicious eyes. Consorting with a different man for a married woman is a no no and in their eyes, what RK did is justified. He did not behave evasively, he plainly put forth all the questions to Sultan. This is what society dictates that a husband takes a firm stand in such matters.

No, I have not gone mad, nor am I celebrating anything. I am a woman and understand perfectly what it means for Madhu's innocence and reputation here in this matter. However this is a bitter pill for her to taste about how her relatioship with Sultan is perceived not only by RK but society in general and it is completely up to her to take steps to rectify it. She either does that or face society's wrath against her.

Her acquital in private in front of RK and Radhaji is not enough if she keeps meeting Sultan after all this. She must change her behavior in that regard or be ready for repeat of this humiliation if not by RK then definitely by Bhujang. For now I see that her plans to leave RK have to be postponed indefinitely because if she leaves him now, she leaves with her own reputation in question. For now, they need to stay together and work this out. RK needs to do humanitarian effort to restore her reputation back in society and what he does for that, will be something interesting to watch.

For now, though he is revered by society as a devoted husband to a supposedly philandering wife, he has lost complete credibility with the person who matters him the most.

Quick note...before I go and watch the episode and come back with my take.
Things went exactly as I had expected...the viewer sympathy is back with Madhu and RK came out looking bad...most viewers saw Sultan as a more dignified alternative to RK.
As far as my thought process goes...Sultan's presence was bound to irk RK. Sultan said everything that was wrong...and would drive any hot blooded insecure husband into rage. Madhu needs to take a stand sooner or later...her mixed signals are screwing up life of two people but then she hides under the veneer of being a victim. If you did not know better and saw the episode for the first time...it would appear that RK is the third wheel between the lovers. I don't understand Madhu's disgust ...can she not get ...that not everyone can trust blindly? Can she not try to understand what is driving her husband into murderous rage? We have set up stage for Madhu to go and apologize to Sultan yet once again. I would not be surprised if Padmini comes tomorrow to take her back and Madhu leaves.
RK is an oddly honest person in some ways ...he does not sweep things under rug in fear of becoming social pariah. He humiliates his wife infront of all and gentry but then..this is the wife who is giving him mixed signals...this is the wife who was out in nights in some undetermined place with a stranger...this is a wife, he saw in Sultan's arms...this is a wife who choose to color Sultan over him...This is a wife who had the nerve to hold hands with Sultan at his home's gate, this is a wife who has a hard time answering a simple question...who is more important him or Sultan...this is a wife who seems to have more confidence in a gangster than him...I can keep going on. The fact is in big picture Madhu is wrong and RK right ...he asked all the correct questions...from show's perspective...he wins everyone's sympathy and did what a husband is expected to do and Madhu is a fallen woman. It is a hard badge to wear in our society. But them Madhu needed to understand what her actions will reap.
RK's behaviour disgusts us when we measure it against the yardstick of all we know...Madhu has no interest in Sultan and she is being foolish...his behaviour seems justified and in character when we measure it against what he knows and has seen.
I don't know what CV's plan is but today my heart broke at the mess between these two souls so in love with each other. We are burying each of thier good memory under tons of dirt...I have ended up in odd place in the show...it means nothing to me without them being together but I am no longer sure I can digest them being together too... and the blame lies with every single character on the show.

CR, i felt the presence of audience was irrelevant..the effect wud have been the same..Madhu was humiliated...but since the audience were present, i think RK was insulted more than Sultan and Madhu...he's completely unaffected by all of it and by now, the film fraternity, his family , friends, all must be used to his nautanki...this is a regular scene for them...kuch acha kuch bura, kuch sach kuch jhoot , RK's dialogues were a mixture of all of them...Sultan did come to protect Madhu and who's she? a stranger , she's married and she has her husband with her, then why did Sultan come to the party knowing that it will not go well with RK and it'll create an embarrassing situation for Madhu??

if RK didn't trust Madhu, he wouldn't have trusted her later on and kicked out Dipali as per the spoilers...

ETA I'm scared to think what might have happened if the audience were not present..may be worse than this...

MM: Agree with every word you said...very well written...I do not understand why everyone wants this issue to be solved behind closed door...He believes his wife is cheating on him and from what he has seen ...his suspicion are justified. Why should he bear the burden of cuckolded in private...should wife not be answerable? He gave her so many chances to explain herself and cut off her ties with Sultan but she just won't. No one is telling her the consequences of her pigheadedness so this was bound to happen.
I have often wondered if I had a male relative in similar situation...how would I expect him to behave? ...just like RK!
I agree with you in our male dominated society...RK will be revered and sympathized with... while Madhu has ended up with a black mark. However if he continues this marraige under current situation then he will be considered a wimp so he has to do damage control sooner or later.
Madhu cannot leave him anytime soon now since that will prove RK was right.

well i was waiting for RK to punch Bhai...But after watching d epi felt very disappointed vd CV's...y r they doin sautela vyawhar vd RK degrading his charachter more n more n forcefuly painting d supposed antagonist don as good hearted n caring..whats vd d dialogue "hamari duniya mein..blah blah" did he forget he was d one who blindfolded madhu forced her to cm vd him to his grand palace🤢🤢
at ds rate i get d feeling dat CVs r slowly pushing madhu 2wds sultan showing RK as obssessive egoistic antagonist n sultan as kind hearted loving gentlemen🤢😡 slowly making way for Sulbala
i feel sorry for d character RK vch cud hv been a gr8 entertaining character but thanxx to CVs has been butchered brutally...
Finally m fully deaddicted..good for me will save lottt of tym!!!!!

agree with you MM and Puja 👏 this had to happen one day..and worse is yet to come..but when will Madhu understand? she's looking at it from her POV only which is a problem ! she doesn't have any feelings for Sultan , she didn't invite him, so she was disgusted with RK's allegations..but what about Sultan? when will she realize that he's harboring feelings for her which is more than friendship? there are lakhs and crores of females in distress , why is he only interested to protect Madhu? and what about RK? what else is he gonna infer when he saw them as one happy family together on holi?? when he saw Sultan showing concern for Madhu and Madhu not reacting to him showing pistol to RK? when he saw them meeting secretly ?? and now he's in the party for what reason??
