I feel like something similar to this will happen, it'll probably be dragged on for a few episodes within the serial though.
Anyways, enjoy!
Balraj
"RK, we're going to the market today, there's going to be food, jewelry, everyt…"
"We?"
"Yes we!"
"Biwi, we aren't even completely married yet and you're already telling me what to do?"
Madhu smiled, "RK…go change."
RK didn't even bother to argue with her because in the end he knew she'd win…with emotional blackmail. That was one of the things he hated, ever since they had confessed their feelings for each other, Madhu had learnt how to get him to do anything she wanted.
RK got off the bed and went to get ready.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The market was full of people. Unfamiliar faces everywhere.
RK had decided that he didn't want bodyguards to be with them and so he wore sunglasses and a hat as his "disguise", which didn't work too well.
Fans rushed over to RK. Within minutes he was surrounded by hundreds of girls. He tried to get a look at his wife but couldn't see her over all the heads. He began to sign autographs as Madhu went to look at some bangles.
Madhu looked towards RK and she laughed, "Those girls never get enough of him."
Her eyes moved a bit towards the left and then she saw him.
The man who she had seen in pictures. The man she had been warned about. The man her mother always told her, "If you see him, you walk the other way." The man who was…her father.
Madhu froze in spot. Just as his head turned towards hers, she turned her head away. She turned her back towards him and tried to blend in with the crowd. That was a difficult thing to do since RK never let his wife go out looking like an average girl.
Just as Madhu was going to walk away, she felt a cloth on her face and an arm around her waist. She began to get dragged away. The cloth, which had a sleeping powder in it, made her slowly pass out. There was so much crowd that only a few people noticed what was happening and they decided not to interfere, afraid for their own lives.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RK had eventually finished signing autographs and the crowd lessened. He looked around for his wife and couldn't find her. He called her name but there was no response from anywhere. RK spent thirty minutes looking for her in the market, which had little crowd left. "If she was here, I would've seen her by now, I've looked everywhere. She must've got tired and gone home," he thought.
RK got back in his car and drove off
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Madhu began to awaken. She tried to rub her eyes but felt restraints around her arms tightly, which prevented her from doing so. Her eyes shot wide open. She looked down at herself and realized she was tied to a chair, her hands tied in the back and her legs tied at the bottom. She struggled while trying to get free when suddenly she heard a man walking behind her. She froze, her heart started to race, she had never been so scared in her life. He walked past her and froze in front of her with his back towards her. Then within the next second, he turned, quickly leaned over her and put his face in front of Madhu. She jumped back at the sight of his huge eyes right in front of her. He grabbed her hair from behind and jerked her head up. The pain she felt at that moment was not comparable to the pain she felt in her heart. The thought of RK worrying about her was making her upset. "If I don't make it back…RK…" she was lost in thought when suddenly the man spoke.
"Balraj is the name, you must've heard about me," he smiled his creepy smile at her and she shook her head no as sweat began to develop on her forehead. "Oh really?" he continued.
"I'm Madhubala Rishabh Kundra, I think you have the wrong person," she spoke nervously.
Balraj let go of her hair and leaned away from his face. He stood straight and turned around. He placed his hands in his pockets and spoke again, "It's amazing how reporters manage to find out everything about an individual...I have the right person. Don't try lying to me."
"No rea…"
"SHUT UP!" he cut her off.
His voice echoed through the abandoned building in which they were in. His loud voice startled Madhu and she froze up.
"I'm going to ask you a set of questions, you just nod your head yes or no. If you lie, I'll know," Balraj pulled a knife out of his pocket and waved it in the air, "and this will be the next thing to touch your throat, understand?" Balraj turned to face Madhu again with the same creepy smile.
Madhu fearfully nodded her head.
"Good," he continued, "Your full name before marriage was Madhubala…Malik?"
Madhu nodded her head. Balraj's creepy smile vanished.
"Your mother, Padmini Chaudary?"
Madhu nervously nodded her head. Balraj's face became furious.
"You have a sister named Trishna?"
Madhu nodded her head. Little did she know, she was asking for her own death by truthfully answering all his questions.
"You live in a chawl?"
Madhu shook her head no. Balraj walked up to her and put the knife to her thoat, "Don't lie to me!"
Madhu spoke with a shaky voice, "N..No, I mean, I live with RK."
The knife moved away from her throat. Balraj stepped back and smiled, "You're a smart one, but you really gave me all the right answers. You just asked for your own death."
Madhu looked up at him in shock. A thought crossed her mind, "It's my last chance," she thought.
"P…Papa…" she had never spoken so nervously in her life before.
Balraj's face fell, it softened and he walked up to her slowly. He began to run his hand through her hair. "It worked," she thought, until suddenly her head was jerked back by the pull of her hair. Tears fell from her eyes.
"Don't try that on me again or you'll regret it," Balraj let her go again and stepped back.
He stared at her for a second. She had her head down and was breathing heavily. Tears were falling from her eyes. She was in pain, both physical and emotional.
"Any last wishes daughter?" he spoke sarcastically.
Madhu looked up at him slowly and spoke with a quiet voice, "R…K…"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RK had just finished searching the entire house for Madhu. She was nowhere to be found. He kicked a chair and yelled out her name, there was no response. He was getting more and more anxious by the minute.
"She's probably still at the market," he thought.
It was dark outside but he tried to convince himself she was still there, he was about to leave his room when suddenly his phone rang.
RK looked at whose number it was and noticed it was his wife's, he sighed in relief.
RK picked up the phone.
"Bi…"
"Hello Rishabh Kundra," a manly voice spoke on the other end. RK froze in spot.
"Who is this?! Where's Madhu?"
"Slow down, slow down, I'll answer all your questions in a minute. Let me first say, nice to talk to you again."
"Again…?" RK asked confused.
"Remember when you went behind bars? Your first jail mate? How could you forget? Afterall, the same lady was behind both of us landing in jail."
RK remembered Balraj from the four nights he was in jail. He remembered Balraj talking about his daughter named Madhubala, talking about how he was behind bars for trying to…kill her. RK became furious as he remembered it all.
"GIVE THE PHONE TO BIWI. NOW!"
"Don't worry, I was just getting to that," Balraj laughed, "I'm giving you two minutes to say your final goodbyes to her."
"DON'T YOU DARE LAY A HAND ON HER!"
RK heard a slap through the phone and a girl make a pained noise in the background, "Madhu…" he thought as tears began to build up in his eyes.
"Too late!" Balraj spoke.
"Don't do anything to her…I'll give you anything, all the money in the world, just please don't do anything to her…" RK pleaded.
"You're begging me? That's a first. I had heard superstar RK doesn't beg for anything. Now you're pleading me for your 'biwi's' life?" Balraj laughed and then continued, "Her death is more valuable to me than money. Two minutes, final goodbyes, I don't have all day. If you go over two minutes, she'll die sooner than she has too."
RK heard the breathing from the other end go silent for a minute. Suddenly he heard a new type of breathing on the other end, heavy but different. "Madhu…" he thought.
"R..K…" RK heard the emotional and physical pain in Madhu's voice. Tears began to fall from his eyes as he fell to his knees.
"Madhu…Madhu, how are you, where are you, I can't live without…"
"I'm fine," Madhu lied as her clearly exhausted voice spoke on the other end. She continued, "Remember the night when we met in the old abandoned studio?"
"Abandoned?" RK asked confused, "Madhu, did he hit your head. If he lays anot…"
"I'll never forget that night," she continued.
RK fell silent on the other end.
"I want to ask you for two things," Madhu asked.
"Anything Madhu," RK said with his pained voice.
"Take care of yourself…and stay happy, for me."
"Madhu no, nothing's going to happen to you. Do you understand? Don't you give up on me! I'll come for you. I promise…I can't live without you Madhu."
RK heard Balraj counting down from 10 through the phone.
"Madhu I love you."
"I love you t…" the phone fell silent on the other end.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Oh how sweet! How emotional! How filmy…" Balraj spoke. He looked at Madhu and smiled. "Now that I've fulfilled your last wish, you'll be able to rest in peace the minute this knife cuts through your throat. You're welcome daughter."
Madhu kept her eyes away from Balraj. He pulled her hair again and made her look up at him.
"Oh what a shame, I'll have to finish my own daughter. No father should have to go through this," Balraj spoke sarcastically. "My beautiful daughter…" Balraj ran the edge of the knife softly down the side of her face.
Madhu spat in his face.
"You…" Balraj became enraged and slapped her a few times back and forth. He walked behind her chair, "You asked for this sooner."
He pulled her head back with her hair and put the knife to her throat. Madhu closed her eyes and filled her mind with thoughts of RK. She began to see her life flash before her eyes when suddenly her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of something hitting the floor. Her eyes shot open and she looked across the room to see the knife on the ground. Everything had happened so quickly that she didn't even realize that there was no knife at her throat. She heard grunting and someone struggling. She tried to look behind her but couldn't due to the restraints.
Suddenly Balraj fell at her feet. She looked up and saw RK; she had never seen him so furious before.
"Now apologize to my biwi."
"Never!" Balraj stayed on the floor but looked up at RK.
"Fine, you'll regret it."
RK grabbed Balraj by the collar and lifted him up; he then continued to beat him up. Beating up Balraj wasn't difficult for RK, considering the fact that RK was ten times more muscular than he was.
Madhu watched the scene unfold before her eyes. Balraj was near the brink of death.
Madhu used all her remaining energy to yell out, "RK! STOP!"
RK looked towards his wife and his furious expression softened. Balraj remained on the ground writhing with pain.
RK started walking towards Madhu. He untied her hands and legs.
RK picked up his exhausted wife in his arms and walked back towards Balraj.
"Next time you even THINK about laying a hand on my biwi, you won't see the light of day again. Consider yourself lucky this time." RK then walked away with Madhu in his arms as the sound of sirens came close.
To avoid the police confrontation, RK exited through the back of the building.
When they got outside and were safe from all danger, RK slowly put Madhu down. He kept his hand on the small of her back to support her.
He looked at his wife; she was a mess. Her hair all tangled, her eyes all red from crying, her breathing still heavy, and the side of her mouth bleeding from the multiple slaps.
RK slowly ran his thumb along her lips and wiped away the blood. She looked up at him. The fear in her eyes remained there; she was still in shock.
"Don't worry, nothing will happen to you. I'm here. You're safe."
She continued to look at him but didn't respond.
"You're a smart lady," he smiled, "Abandoned studio? Very smart," he ran his hand through her hair and caressed the side of her face. He kissed her forehead but she still remained unresponsive as she stared at him.
"Are you okay?" he asked quietly. Though he knew the answer, he needed her to know it as well. He needed her to cry.
Madhu slowly shook her head yes…and then quickly no. She suddenly burst into tears and wrapped her arms around RK. He wrapped his arms around her tightly, to let her know she's safe and he's there.
He let her cry her sorrow out in his arms and then spoke softly, "Everything will be okay."
