Part 11A
"The Price is Right"
I swiftly headed for the door hoping to make it out before the broken pieces of my heart were crushed any further.
I was beginning to think life just hated me enough to make this harder than it already was because through the door screaming,
"MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! MO'" he ran grabbing my hand too.
"I forgot to show you this yesterday! I guess I was tired cause of the long ride home," he looked up at me with an accusing glare, "'anyways look!" He ecstatically pointed to his grades.
"All A's! Even in art this time!" He admired the paper.
He was growing up faster than he had to, but his innocence hasn't been robbed. This made my heart feel a little lighter before leaving.
His eyes lifted themselves off of the paper to glance up as his mom, "Wait, mom? Are you crying? Mom!!! What is it this time!"
She didn't even bother to give me an accusing glare before answering, "Nothing I'm just really happy about your grades. All A's! Even in art!"
Now that was the Madhu I knew. She'd get through this, I suppressed my proud smile.
"No, stop crying right now mamma!" He said as he was about to rip the report card up.
"Krish! What are you doing!" Madhu snatched it out of his hands.
"Aisi khushi ka kya faida jo kissiko rulata hai?"

It was late afternoon. He must have been far from here now. She patted a peaceful Krish in her lap.
The truth was she needed him more than he'd need her.
Bringing his strong hands together to her face, she didn't even have to search for comfort.
Mera bacha.
Stroking his soft face, she looked out the window. The white snow was blinding.
Carefully she got up, and began to draw the curtains until she noticed a grey coat on the bench outside.
Alone.
It seemed like it had been sitting there for hours, watching her from afar while the owner sat with his back to the house.

A/N: Ok I think in the last chapter the "hifasaat se putting the dupatta back on Madhu" was clear enough to say that no they did not do it, and nor did he want to. And a lot of you are stating the comments that "you can't wait to find out why RK is doing this" when the reason has been mentioned in the past chapters but I don't blame you if you forgot because of the infrequent updates. Also as a side-note WATCH AASHIQUI 2. Take my word for it. Both Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor's acting was phenomenal and this is coming from someone who extremely dislikes Bhatt movies.
AND this FF is to end in the next few parts (by 13).
