I was thinking about what I actually wanted to say here - when I used the word "Love", it's for a lack of better word and you really nailed it with these words "quality of her feelings" and "especially the proven depth and extent of both - devotion and loyalty ".

I used the word "love" more in the context of Madhu's capacity to love/care for another person ( esp a flawed person like RK ) as a human being and her capacity to empathize and see good in him after everything she has gone through.

I also feel they have not yet acknowledged/realized their love yet, the romantic/passionate kind and you have expressed what i felt so beautifully.
