they went up to the dance floor….well here we are..so wat new surprises was this salsa going to offer….

Rajveer held her she looked into his eyes with the same look…that he had got in the staircase…and smiled..

The music began to play..

and they steered off into a.. well so called salsa..wid pooja taking the lead..

on the other hand..
"aalekh???…wow.."
"apun kafi kuch aisa kar sakta hai jo tu nahi janti.."
neelu looked at him enquiringly..
"apun ne dekha tha…kisiko yehich karte hue..par is step ke baad nahi pata.."
"who mein sambhal lungi.."

rajveer and naina one were the most vibrant couples on the floor..

the looks in their eyes were unknown to both..a cute wicked look..
she smiled just before letting her gaze drop and..
"smart.."he said as naina took a sudden twirl..but raj wasn't to be left behing..he held her shoulder and in a moment she was in his grip facing him…
"howzzat?"


naina wound out of the grasp..now it was her lead..

she stood a little away ..her hand as if to just stop him from coming close..she moved forward in swift agile movements..as he moved back..responding to her moves.. her steps as they came

huda dint know why he suddenly smiled wid all his heart…she was pretty and…
"ur good at this..umm..princess??"

huda's one swift sudden movement and she was nicely balanced in his arms..

naina's finger traced the outline of his face..her look piercing his heart..as she moved with the moves of a cat..
he was no less too..this was one couple that were in competetion wid each other too….

He took her wrist and in a jiffy..her body rested on his strong hands..and for a brief moment they studied each other's expression..
Both seemed to say one thing --"wont let you go now…"

there weren't more than three couples left on the floor now..
but suddenly..
"arreh kya hua…" she just missed a step but huda caught her..

"who..kuch nahi.."she looked back to see one of the couples she had seen wich made her make a mistake..
huda looked out.."naina??..woh to.."
"sorry u all are disqualified.."
that left naina and raj and just one more couple..

naina and raj though did not seem to follow steps and just moved with the flow..wich now was getting too hot to handle…their faces glowing warm with the dancing and all that light...
the passion seemed to smoulder..

his hands traced her waist as it moved up to hold her..he suddenly pulled her close..
hearts galloping and their minds in a trance..she put her arm round his shoulder and bent back to let her weight fall on one of his hands..

her lips parted as she gasped for breath..
she felt herself shivering as she felt his breath on her neck till he came face to face wid her..his look burning her senses..

he moved apart only to hold out and then bring her into a tight embrace..

huda's grip over his glass of wins strenghtened

they were now close..the music seemed to drown ..they cud only feel each others breath..the warmth spreading thru them..

huda's grip over his wine glass was so tight now that any more tighter might as well crack it..

naina and rajveer centimeters apart now..the music blared over the speakers but it dint reach them..
naina's eyelids dropped …her eyes closed as she cud feel herself being drawn closer..
his eyes cudnt hold their gaze too..as her lips parted and so did his..

there seemed to be a tiny crack in huda's wine glass now as he saw rajveer's lips just brush over naina's and.................

there was a sudden jerk and both realized the music had just stopped..
naina just looked up..and they were so close that she actually bumped into his nose..

they suddenly let go..becoming very conscious..

But they weren't listening..
naina still cherishing every move of his…
They had lost the competetion but only both of them knew (and maybe a few others did too) wat they had got..

Naina and raj raj just looked across at each other wen many people came in to congratulate the winners and they were parted by the small crowd..

She walked into the garden..her eyes had a sparkle..many remembrances of last night..

The garden was also home to many beautiful birds and as it was early morning ..they seemd to awaken to this new day just like naina was awakening to her feelings..he took a long breath..and turned to go bck..

naina remembered a rainy evening..rajveer and her date..

naina opened her eyes but she wasn't around..however..her words still were there in naina's heart..she turned and ..and she ran through the passage…
the sun had risen fully now and the bird were chirping..all of them chirping together.the music was magnificent..
and naina smiled…she laughed...her feeling were unbound now..

the bright blue sky greeeting her..the birds rejoicing..it was perfect...
the day trip passed in a daze and it was charming especially...

"yeh goa ka oldest church hai..and its very auspicious..go ahead..aap log candle jalake aao..."

all of them enterd the church..it was heavenly inside..the pin drop silence..the warm scented air..the chimes...it was beautiful..
and so was naina ...thought rajveer as he walkd beside her upto the end of the church ...
naina sat down and lit the candle..then looking up at the lord she closed her eyes..
the light of the candle shown on her face..her mellow smile..it was mesmerising and raj cudnt take his eyes off...
wow...he sighed softly...and then..
"ouch!!!ahh!!"
"kya hua sir??.."

he molten wax from his candle had fallen on his hand as he was looking at th angel by his side..
and naina was pulled out of her prayer..she quickly set her own candle down and caugh hold of his hand..she blowed at the wax so that it dried fast and then gently scraped it off...

"ab theek hai??.."she looked up at him...he was all this while looking at his pretty face..the candle light illuminated thier faces and the glow reflected in thir eyes..

"ahem ahem!!"

tonight was the informal night ..all were comfortably dreesed and naina looked cool in her tigh denims and sequined black top..
she stood in front of the mirror dressing up carefully....

"oye???itni der ka call???tu to kabhi itna waqt nahi leti thi???aaj kya hua???"
"kuch nahi...aa rahi hun.." naina was working on her hair...
"uff..kya karun iska..."
and then she remembered

now she know...she pulled up her hair into a ponytail..

neelu just stard ...at the loss of words..
aalekh had never ben that out going and from wen they had come he had never been intrested in dancing either then how come he requested a song...!!!!!!!!

but as it began playing..they knew why aalekh had requested a song..

by this time all of them were back on the dance floor and naina had pulled in rajveer too..just by reflex...and he followed too...
tonight he danced..forgetting the fact he was with such officers who were once his students....oh bahd mein jaye woh sab..
he cud only see her smile her laugh..and thats all that matterd...

aalkeh and neelu too were thoroughly enjoying themselves..aalkremembering his life and thankful..he had met this mad girl in front of him...

it was true some of the lyrics of the song dint go wid him..but who cared..most of it did..

there was no last local..no mumbai..but coming to KMA was surely part of a punishment..one moment that changed his life forever...

naina looked over at rajveer...yes it was all about time..and maybe the time was here indeed

she took his hand and pulled him out of the crowd...

it was fun time..

there was pin drop silence now..suddenly naina realised that all this while she was actually...
"i was shouting??..{{she then looked at rajveer..he seemed to be wAitng for an explanation..}...woh...mein...mein darti thi...wat if..u dont....i...i really like you{she took a small step towards him}...i find myself getting attracted to you...i think i..i...."

rajveer let out a sigh...he took her by the shoulders..and then looking at her...

he shook his head..."naina!!"and rajveer walked awy...

naina's hand reached out..but she cudnt stop him...
