Nishaant was sitting in his room, ready to watch the CDs of the Test.
Major Nair walked in.
"Lt.Goenka"
"Sir!", Nishant didnt correct him.
".....compatibility test ke CDs.....", he looked at the cases of the CDs.
"Sir!", Nishant asked him in a 'kya-kaam-hai' manner.
"Aaj Captain Rajveer aur Cadet Singh ki test thi, nai?"
"Jee...."
"Aap Cadets se kaafi ghulmil gaye hain?", he asked and Nishant nodded, ".....kya jante hain aap Cadet Singh ke baare main?"
"Yahi sir, ki woh kaafi dedicated student hain, aur shayad uske saare batchmates se behtar soldier ban sakti hain!"
"Soldier!", he gave a hollow laugh, "Soldier woh kaisi banengi, yeh hum decide kaenge, Lt.Goenka....", unable to bear her praise.
"Sir!"
"Soldier ki niyaat bohot important hoti hain.....", he finally began his job.
"Yes sir!"
"Aur unki neeyat......"
"......This is the LIMIT!", she bellowed from the door, "Mujhse baat karne ke baad aap....I did not expect this Major!"
"Madam!"
"Will you please leave the room at once?"
He stared at her, murderously.
"Please......before I officialy ban you from all the activities of the programme?"
He quietly left....leaving what looked like a paper on Nishant's dest, in a way that only Nishant could see it.
"Carry on Nishant!"
"Yes mam!"
And she left.
Nishant glanced at the paper. It spoke about the alleged affair of Captain Shekhawat and Cadet Naina Singh.......the solitary confinements........the run away from the academy.......the gray areas in Ritu Mishra's case and her involvement in it.....and other rule breakings of her.....all the allegations on the cadet, before Breg.Chandok had dismissed them.......
..........his face changed expressions....he had never expected the petite Naina to be something like this....quite shocked at the details........
Nishant carefully went through them. He walked upto his window,
".....baaki to pata nahin....", he looked at the sky, ".....par, aapki ek baat to shayad sach hai...."
