Sorry guys, the second part of last week's precap wasn't in this episode. There have been a change of plan!

Episode 27

"Has anyone found that robber yet? Why aren't we being let out?" A Senior Cadet, Shaili asked in annoyance.

"And it's so hot in here!" Some others made sounds of agreement and started demanding to be let out. Suriji held up his hands to calm them down.

"Look, I was given orders by Major Abhimanyu-" there were some 'boos' to this, "- and Major Nandini." it quietened down immediately. "Brigadier Chandokh is out of town for a meeting about an escaped terrorrist who may be a rising threat. Till I get orders, you have to stay here." The cadets started groaning when Abhimanyu appeared at the entrance.

"Cadets we have a very serious situation." He saw Rajveer coming their way and paused the explanation till he reached them. "An intruder is somewhere in KMA and till we pinpoint his location we can't let any of you out because..." he trailed off, looking at the expectant faces before him. "Because the cadets who were anywhere else besides the hostel or canteen are missing."

It was as if thunder had fallen upon them; there was an uproar as it occured to them how serious the situation really was. As Abhimanyu and Suriji tried to have them under control, we see Rajveer's pale stricken face. We follow his thoughts and see him watching Naina walk away from his room. The colour drained from his face completely.

He cleared his mind; Naina knew how to take care of herself. But it still bothered him a bit too much to stand around and wait for someone to inform him about what was going on. He started walking towards Major Samar's room, which is where Nandini and Dr. Shalini were most likely.

Almost as soon as he left, Lolita rushed into the canteen. She hadn't noticed Abhimanyu there, so she went up to Suriji.

"Suriji! None of the girls who were in the hostel are there anymore! I checked the boys' hostel as well, and the same condition there." she said in an alerted tone.

"What?!" Abhimanyu exclaimed. He closed his eyes to shake off from the confusion. He needed to lead, not fall behind with his confusion.

The man in black tied Naina's hands in the Highway Hitch knot. We only see his back as he makes his way to the desk in Naina and Pooja's room. He picked up and examined the picture of the two. [http://www.leftrightleft.in/wallpapers/size3/pooja-n-naina.jpg]

"Best friends?" he asked, taking his mask off and we finally see his face. [http://f9g.yahoofs.com/groups/g_11761448/c126/__sr_/a309.jpg?grAd7BHBBVq956dw] He turned around to look at Naina questioningly. She merely stared back heatedly. "Hmm... hot-headed. Interesting." he said, making a facial expression of understanding.

He went around the room in a relaxed manner, looking at anything and everything closely. Naina felt very uneasy at this, but still maintained her piercing gaze directed at him.

"Yeh ghoor ghoor ke dekhna bandh karna chahti ho to bandh karo. It really gives the impression you're madly in love with this poor misunderstood fellow."

This made her drop her gaze, but she used the tree outside her window to send deathly glares at. Then suddenly it struck her. The window was open! She looked up at the man to see if he was looking, but he seemed engrossed with a book. She took small, silent steps towards the window, but Pooja's anklet on the floor made a soft tinkling sound as her toes brushed against it. Her head snapped up in fear to see if he had noticed.

"But Pooja-" Ali started arguing.

"No! Listen, it's their call conference, so let them handle it!" Pooja told him.

"Still scared?" Huda went over to Koel, stretching out comfortably. "That's what happens when a janani tries to ward this Jatt off." he said, now stretching his arms out.

Koel wrinkled her nose in disgust. You could tell the intensity of the heat in the room just by having a glance at any cadet, especially Huda. Koel though, was not sweating much, now that she was near the netted window.

She looked away, trying to ignore Huda as much as she possibly could. Suddenly, something outside caught her eyes and she straightened up, pushing Huda.

The chattering was getting louder and louder by the minute, when Aalekh's voice suddenly broke through.

"Where's Naina?!" he asked, standing up alerted.

"She's not here..." Yudi said, looking around. All of their faces paled.

"She's there..." Koel said simply, pointing at something in the window. They all gathered around to see a faint white figure outline at a window.

"Hey that's our room!" Pooja exclaimed.

"But I thought everyone at the hostels were missing..." Yudi commented in confusion.

"Not everyone." Aalekh replied, starting to go out. Suriji and Lolita tried to stop him but it was in vain. The others followed as well, with Huda slowing down a bit to stay with Koel, even at this situation.

"He's quite clever Major, not the average robbers or thieves you get." Abhimanyu told Samar. The latter nodded and held up the torch to check the power switch once again. It was neatly disabled, so flawless that it seemed nearly impossible to fix.

"Chauhan Saab, we'll just have depend on candles and torches for now. We aren't getting the power back anytime soon. Let's go check up on Shekhawat, Virani and Dr. Shalini's progress." Abhimanyu nodded and followed his former teacher, who had once added 'Saab' to his usual way of calling someone simply because he was a prince. Who knew that naming would go such a long way as to his friends and even family calling him that?

He snapped out of his thoughts when he saw Suriji hurriedly approaching them. "Sirji and Sirji, Naina puttar is in her room! Cadets Aalekh, Huda, Yudi, Pooja, Ali and Koel have gone there." he said in a rush.

The two Majors exchanged glances with a single thought; they had to stop the youngsters. Unknown to them, Rajveer was also present, examining the guarding area.

As soon as he heard of Naina's location, he wanted to rush to her, but stopped and assured himself she would be fine in her room. But then he heard that the cadets had gone after her, which struck him as slightly odd. He didn't pay heed to it though. They would be fine; they were all together and they were just worried about Naina.

What he didn't know though, was that the hostels were actually unusually deserted, with Naina being one of the only two occupants there, and that the cadets had rushed to her because of it.

Precap - "Do you really want to know?" asks the man in an amused voice, which hides his sarcasm and anger.

"What. Is. Your. Problem." Koel grits through her teeth angrily.

Episode 28

Naina's head snapped up in fear. Had he heard the sound? It didn't seem like it; he was engrossed in a book from the shelf, with his back angled at her. Relief washed over her face, and she took a step when his voice froze both body and mind.

"Think about it, try it, but you know what? You won't succeed." he said, closing the book and sliding out a knife from it. Naina's eyes widened in shock. How did he get a knife from the book? And what were his intentions?

"What are you doing here?" she asked in a shaky voice. She regained some composure when he didn't make any attempt to show that he heard her. "What do you want?" he turned around, and her heart started beating faster.

"Meri pyaari behen yeh soch rahi thi ki sirf yeh terrorrist se hi itna darr kyun lag rahi thi usko. Pehle to kabhi usse kisi se itna darr nahin laga, ya phir kisi se yeh itni affected nahin hui thi." Naveen's voiceover tells us.

"What am I doing here... hmm... what indeed." he said with amusement in his tone. "Do you really want to know?" he asked, the amusement still present, as if to hide the sarcasm and anger. Naina was speechless. She was torn between saying 'yes' and 'no. His strong watch on her made her extremely uncomfortable, and she was forced to lower her gaze.

Huda and Koel were behind the rest of the gang, but even as Koel tried to move forward Huda blocked her way and made sure she was falling behind with him. Finally she was fed up of it. She stopped walking

"What. Is. Your. Problem." she gritted angrily through her teeth. Huda went closer, almost looming over her.

"I don't have any. But you seem to." he told her. She looked directly in his eyes before softening her glare.

"Huda, be real for a minute. What, really, is your problem? I'm not interested in you or.. any other guy..." she said, the last part a bit weakly. "And I really don't want you trying to distract me while I'm training, OK? I might not have wanted to do this, but I do now, and please let me try and be the best soldier I can." she asked him pleadingly. "I'm really not interested in you."

She made her way to the front, pushing him slightly accidentally on the shoulder, but she didn't notice it. Huda was left there standing alone. He looked back after a few moments with a joyous yet surprised glint in his eyes.

"Yeh Hariyani Jatt to yeh soch raha tha ki yeh ladki kaise uska mann ko itna channmann kar sakti thi. Itna maza kyun aata hain usse, yeh ladki ko apna banaane mein? Naina ko kisi aur se pyaar hain, lekin Huda to kabhi usse apna banaane ka sochna nahin chahta tha!" Naveen's voiceover explains to us.

"Koel!" he called. The others were already in the girls' hostel by now, climbing the stairs. Koel waited for him to reach her and smiled slightly, thinking that he had changed. Boy, was she wrong. "You know, I could help you with your training, really." he told her, giving her a suggestive glance.

Her smile dropped instantly. He pushed her against the wall, placing his hand on one side of her, which acted as a barrier somehow. Her eyes were blazing, matching her infuriated expression. She dragged her feet up slowly, giving him the false impression that she was going with his flow. Then to his utter surprise, she listed her knee with the speed of thunder and kicked him with as much force.

She was panting with anger. He had bent down in pain, moaning as he clutched his lower stomach. "You've crossed the boundary." she hissed. "Don't you ever even dare to come near me, ever again, GET THAT? LEAVE ME ALONE!" she screamed at Huda, who had just lifted his face. She went up the stairs angrily, having forgotten she was actually there for a reason.

Huda did too. He looked on at her form disappearing up the stairs. He left without a single word, limping on the opposite way.

"Dr. Shalini!" Rajveer called as she was about to go the other way. She turned around looking distressed. "Any clues of where the missing cadets or guards are?"

"No... I thought you would have a lead. I've looked in every classroom, every bathrooms, and even the staff quarters along with Major Nandini. Nothing." she replied. They stood quietly, running everything they had found out through to find even a single thread of evidence.

"Is Naina safe?" she asked after a while.

"Yes, she's in the girls' ho- wait, why are you asking?" he suddenly realised she hadn't asked about anyone else. She didn't have to answer the confrontation though; hearing the first part had already frozen her mind.

"Girls' hostel? Major what are you doing here then?!" she exclaimed in shock. "Don't you know that the hostels were completely empty, like all these hallways?"

Rajveer was speechless. She was probably in grave danger, and here he was, trying to look for something he knew he wouldn't find so easily.

"Mera pyaara dost yeh soch raha tha ki woh kaise uska pyaar ko itna aasaani se jane diya. Woh yeh soch raha tha ki agar Naina ko kuch ho gayi, uski doshi sirf Raj hi hoga." Naveen's voiceover is heard.

"Come on doctor!" he told her without wasting a single more second before rushing towards the girls' hostel. He had to save his love.

"People are coming!" Naina told him as the footsteps head in their direction and a girl shouting at someone reached them.

The man immediately headed towards the window and jumped down onto the thin concrete of the first floor window. He held out his hand to her. "Come on!" he told her. She took his hand and climbed down from the girls' hostel. After they were both down, they sprinted towards the back, where a wall was broken.

Before going out, Naina glanced back at KMA, and saw Rajveer standing a few metres away, shocked and hurt. She hoped he saw her helpless expression; she had to do this. She sprinted once again, following the man, knowing Rajveer was tailing them. That's what she wanted.

Precap - "What is this place?" Naina coughs, before taking a quick glance at the window. She is satisfied to see Rajveer hidden behind a bush.

"What did you tell Huda?" Pooja asks Koel, a bit accusingly.
