I was thinking about the precap, as well as the episode (06/08/07), and almost as if automatically I imagined a few scenes happening... so I decided to write out something after that. This takes place after the bus stopped and Colonel Shakti was shot.

They were stranded in the middle of a jungle sort of area beside a narrow unused road, where their bus stood motionless. The shortcut Abhimanyu had decided to use was actually the lair for a group of terrorists, who killed Abhimanyu's driver and damaged the engines of both vehicles from a distance.

Now the students, Abhimanyu and the bus driver were a few kilometres from where they were originally attacked; their bus and car was still there though, with most of their things. Abhimanyu had ordered them to take only the things that would be necessary, like food, camping needs, etc. He had tried to contact the headquarters and KMA, as did Pooja with her mobile phone, but the signal was jammed by the terrorist group.

"Sir, I could try to get through to KMA or the headquarters, whichever is nearer... I know a few things about these..." Yudi suggested. Abhimanyu thought for a while, and seeing this Pooja backed up her friend.

"I'll help him... with my knowledge of phones and signals and his experience with gadgets, I'm sure we'll work out something Sir."

"OK, but be careful. The terrorists might trace it and find us, or hear the conversation. Be extremely careful..." Abhimanyu warned them. They nodded and huddled at a corner, bent over Pooja's phone and Abhimanyu's walkie talkie. The rest just watched the while exchange, knowing they wouldn't be of much help. They decided to help in their own ways and make the place more comfortable.

Naina, Huda, Aalekh, Ali and Kamran got busy in setting up the tents, leaving the job of dinner to Sai, who was experienced in that area. Abhimanyu watched the cadets coordinate excellently, knowing that his friend had been a big part of why they could work so well together. He looked down and smiled, sadly perhaps. wondering if he'd ever be able to make space for himself in the hearts and lives of these cadets.

The sudden sound of leaves rustling under a pair of feet, and of something being dragged stopped everyone on their tracks. Abhimanyu took out his gun, signalling Aalekh and Huda, who were nearest to the ammunitions, to hand the guns out to everyone nearby for their defence. The only sound that could be heard was of the rustling of leaves, which stopped after a few moments, quite nearby. Abhimanyu quietly approached the person, gun raised, ready to shoot. When he went outside the clearing they were in, the sight left a shocked expression on his face.

All this while, Naina's thoughts kept going around and landing on one person; who else? Her Rajveer Sir. She knew she was being foolish, but she prayed silently to God that Rajveer Sir was safe. She had had a premonition earlier that day, which became a possibility after she learnt about Pooja's cross-connection episode and the terrorist activities.

When she realised that everyone was heading towards where the sound was coming from, she followed, knowing her worries about Captain Rajveer wasn't as important as the situation they were in right now. The scene in front of her when she reached the others left her in utter shock, very much like the others, but the glimmer of hope and joy was something only she and her five friends were feeling.

"Captain Rajveer!" Naina rushed over to support her mentor, who was about to fall from exhaustion. He let go of Colonel Shakti when Aalekh and Huda came forward, gratefully accepting Naina's help, forgetting his guilt and worries. "He needs rest, first and foremost!" Naina told ABhimanyu, who was about to question him. Their vice principal nodded and supported Rajveer's other side, taking him to the clearing.

While laying him down on the sleeping bag, Naina noticed the handkerchief she'd given him in the morning. She took it out of his jacket pocket and soaked it with water, placing it on his forehead lovingly. He shivered at the sudden coolness against his skin, and unconciuosly reached out to the only source of warmth; Naina.

She was at loss of what to do, but finally decided that it was to help his recovery, and sat as close to him as possible. Aalekh and Ali came in to check whether she needed any help or not. When they saw the two so close though, they were about to leave when Naina called them back.

"How's Colonel Shakti? He was losing a lot of blood when I last saw him..."

"He was shot in the stomach, and is still breathing, shallowly though. We don't know if he'll live..." Ali said in a worried tone.

"Naina, I know you want to be with Rajveer Sir now, but-" Naina cut Aalekh off.

"I'll go. Could you watch over him while I help Colonel?"

"Sure. Usool, get some hot water! Naina, you just worry about Colonel's health for the time being, OK? We're here for Rajveer Sir..." Naina nodded and left the tent. She knew she could depend on her friends about these things.

Precap - "Phoolan how's Sirji?" asks Huda, and stops suddenly in a shocked manner after seeing something ahead of him.

"It's a few kilometers away, at around a very small hill. But it's dangerous to go there." says Rajveer.

"No..." Naina woke up from the sound of Captain Rajveer groaning. She had fallen asleep against the tent wall beside him. After she and Sai treated Colonel Shakti with the help of Huda and Ali, she came back to check up on Rajveer, and sent Aalekh off to do the security duty.

She rushed forward to take the handkerchief and realised it was dry. As she tried to get up to ask someone to bring some water, she felt a tug on her hand. It was Rajveer. He was looking at her with desperation through half-closed eyes. He didn't want to be alone then. She smiled reassuringly at him and sat herself beside him.

"I - didn't... kill-" he was stopped by Naina putting her finger on his lips. She wiped his sweat from his face and neck with the handkerchief, and realised he was still holding her other hand. He wasn't completely conscious then, so he didn't give much thought to it and kept his firm grip on her hand. Her heart leaped with something unknown as she looked at him lovingly.

"Phoolan how's Sirji now?" Huda barged in, stopping suddenly at seeing her hand in their teacher's and her wiping his face. A range of emotions passed by his face, but he hid them and came over to sit on Rajveer's other side. "Sir, how're you feeling now?"

"Much better Cadet." Rajveer said as he tried to sit up, and Naina immediately came to his aid. Huda's hurt face could be seen as he watched the two.

"Huda, some help here!" Naina told him angrily. Rajveer suddenly realised the situation and let go of Naina's hand and scooted a bit away from her. Huda got up and brought the water bottle from the other end of the tent, watching the two interact. Should he give up on Phoolan? Would she never love him as much as he loves her?

"Sir! I think we've done it!" Yudi said excitedly coming over to Abhimanyu. They all gathered around the walkie talkie. Yudi pressed something, holding the antenna up, while Pooja held her mobile, giving him directions. They had discoverd a way to get the signal, so Pooja was telling him where there is a strong enough but un-detectable signal using the network level on her phone. Suddenly the noise coming from the walkie talkie was replaced with rough voices.

"Hello? Army Headquarters? KMA?" Abhimanyu tried. The man seemed to hear them, but they couldn't understand what he was saying. Yudi tried moving the antenna, but no avail.

"I know where you can get the signal." Rajveer's tired voice told them from behind. He limped out of the tent, declining Naina's help. "The best place to get a good signal without getting caught is a few kilometers away, at around a very small hill. But it's dangerous to go there." He informed them.

"I'll go Sir." Aalekh said in a tone that clearly said that he wasn't going to back down because of the dangers. Rajveer patted his shoulder proudly.

"But he can't go alone. I'll go with him, and Raj, you can take care of things here. I know you're exhausted, but I also know how strong you are. I know you can handle it here." ABhimanyu told him with a tinge of pride in his voice. His friend nodded.

"Sir, shouldn't Pooja or I go with you guys? Since we know a bit more about these..." Yudi trailed off.

"Saala nautanki." Aalekh muttered under his breath. Abhimanyu nodded and the three set off. Rajveer turned around to face his cadets, who were looking at him expectantly, to lay out some sort of plan. They weren't disappointed.

Precap - "Let's get working!" says Raj. The cadets are shown working, but it's not clear what they're exactly doing.

"Sir, uh... woh..." Naina stutters, looking nervous.

"OK cadets, as Abhimanyu, Aalekh and Yudi try to communicate with the Headquarters or KMA, we should make sure that our defence and attack positions are strong. The terrorists here shuoldn't be underestimated..." Rajveer told them. Ali thought how ironic it was that their Communications & Strategies teacher was setting up their fighting positions while the Vice Principal of a military academy was out trying to communicate with the outside world. He realised that things couldn't always be where they should; sometimes shifting positions turned out to be right.

Rajveer started giving out instructions to the cadets; Ali and Kamran were given the job of handling the ammunitions, Huda and Naina to set up defences and traps, Pooja was to be the guard and send a signal if something was out of order, and Sai was in charge of the rest, e.g watching over Colonel Shakti, food, shelter, etc.

"Well, let's get working!" he said, and everyone but Naina rushed to do their jobs. She slowly paced around, trying to make up her mind. "Cadet Naina Ah Singh... why aren't you doing your job?" he asked pleasantly, not sounding harsh at all.

"Uh... Sir... woh..." she said nervously. "Umm actually, I was wondering if you could help Huda and me, since you know a lot more about these things, and we'll learn from it..." she fumbled with the words, trying to sound convincing enough so that he agreed.

"Of course. You go ahead, I'll just be there in a second." He patted her shoulder, and she smiled at him as they went the opposite directions. Unknown to them a pair of emotion filled eyes were watching them as he hid the rope under a bed of leaves for the terrorists to be caught in.

Precap - "Aaleeeeekh!!!!!!" yells Yudi, holding his hand out. Aalekh is shown hanging onto the edge of a cliff, losing grip and finally falling.

Abhimanyu's shocked face is shown, with a hand holding a gun to his head.

"Sir, I hear some noises..." Aalekh whispered as the three carefully climbed the small but stiff hill. They froze holding their breaths at hearing voices nearby. They were going in the opposite direction as the three, but the rough, loud voice coming from Abhimanyu's walkie talkie was enough to have them running towards where the three were. Abhimanyu signalled them to run, and they unintentionally split. Aalekh pulled Yudi as he ran up the hill while Abhimanyu went to another direction around it.

"s**t s**t s**t..." Yudi repeatedly muttered under his breath. Aalekh hit him on the back of his head to shut him up, and looked for something to help defend themselves. He realised that they both had their guns and was about to take his one out when a gunshot followed by tremendous pain delayed him. Two of the goons were standing there with their rifles; the short one had shot his hand to stop him from raising the gun. His gun now lay at the edge of the cliff, not very far from where they were.

"I'll distract them, you get my gun and yours." Aalekh muttered so that only Yudi could hear him. He ignored his friend shaking his head vigorously and ran towards the goons, managing to get one of their rifles after punching him on the face. The other one was about to shoot when he was shot himself on the arm. We see Yudi standing confidently, pointing both guns forward. "Good job Nautan-"

Aalekh was hit on the side of his head by one of the goons. He wobbled backwards, seeing black after a brain freeze. Yudi shot again, this time successfully getting the other one right on the chest. Aalekh on the other hand was fumbling with trying to hit the goon; he had been hit on a very sensitive spot, so he couldn't see or generate properly. Another blow came to him on the stomach, and Yudi came forward to hit the goon on the head with his gun. The goon fell unconscious. When he turned around to exchange a hi-five with Aalekh though, his grin slipped.

"Aaleeeeekh!!!!!!" He yelled, holding his hand out. Aalekh was hanging onto the edge of a cliff. Yudi's hand was only a few inches away, but Aalekh was in no shape to get hold of it. He tried to reach out for it nonetheless, but lost grip on the edge he was holding onto. The last thing Yudi saw before falling unconscious from the blow on his head by a rifle was Aalekh's body falling, an image that would be painted in his mind forever.

"KMA? Come on damnit!" Abhimanyu exclamied as quietly as he could. He jumped up at getting a reply.

"Captain Abhimanyu? Hello? Are you there? Over and out."

"Yes yes, I'm here. Listen carefully, there are terr-" He stopped when he heard a gunshot.

"Captain?? Hello? What's going on? Over and out."

"I don't know! Terrorists have managed to damage our bus, and we had taken shelter in a clearing a few kilometers away from where it stands now. The position of it is..." Abhimanyu explained the position, trying to get the horror out of his mind; his cadets were in danger, but he had to make sure help was coming before checking up on them. They were future soldiers, they knew how to defend and attack. The blood drained from his face once again though, after hearing a very clear scream of 'Aaleeeeekh!!!!!!'. "Make sure the help in on its way ASAP, got it? I have to go, over and out. I'll try to contact KMA or the Headquarters later." He ended the conversation.

"I'm afraid you won't need to Captain. I doubt you'll live long enough to do so." A familiar voice came from behind. He turned around, facing the owner of the voice. "I doubt your precious cadets or your best friend will either, unless of course they're willing to help us." Abhimanyu stood frozen with shock and horror as he heard the last sentence, barely acknowledging the gun pointed right at his face.

Precap - Rajveer is walking through a jungle, looking wornout and dirty. He holds his hand out to someone, and she accepts.

Aalekh is sitting and Yudi (head bleeding) is pacing in a small room.

Several gunshots. Yudi's voice yelling out for Aalekh. Everything eerily quiet after that. If that wasn't enough to get the cadets and their mentor worried, the men in masks surrounding them with rifles certainly was. Rajveer, Naina, Huda, Ali, Kamran and Sai were standing almost in a huddled circle facing the men, while their only hope, Pooja, was barely hidden behind a tree a few meters from the clearings. She wouldn't be spotted unless she made a visible move, since it was dark, but not dark enough yet.

"What do you want?" Rajveer asked the man who was behaving like the leader. The reply was a blow on the stomach from a rifle. He stumbled back only slightly, being used to pressure from years of training, but he didn't mind the soft yet firm hands supporting his back. Naina glowered at the man who did it. Seeing this, Rajveer mused that if eyes could kill, no doubt that the man would've been dead.

He bent down slowly, pretending to hold his stomach in pain and wobbling slightly. He turned his head undetectably towards Naina and Huda's direction and winked. They caught on and Naina immediately bent forward pretending to help him and meekly asked the terrorists for aid.

Since the masked men were a bit distracted from Rajveer's convincing groans (so convincing that Naina was worried if they were real or not), Huda pretended to scratch his head, making clear enough signs with his hand to Pooja. She didn't need anymore telling. He winked back at Rajveer when he saw her quietly sneaking behind the guard at the corner in the dark, narrowly forgetting the earlier incidents.

Suddenly, in a flash of a few seconds, time seemed to slow down as a series of things happened like a chain reaction. Pooja snapped the guard's neck inexpertly from the lack of experience, who whimpered out causing the others to notice it, Naina and Ali pounced on the nearest two men while Rajveer, Huda, and Kamran went for the others and Sai ran to the ammunitions box safely hidden away within a bush.

The terrorists seemed to be new at this; they didn't put up much of a fight before surrendering. Soon, they were tied around a tree and gagged tightly. Rajveer turned around to face his students, who were looking at him expectantly for orders about the next move. He shifted his status fully to the teacher mode now.

"That, Cadets, was a different version of the code 'Hootie and the Blowfish'. And now, I'm going to demonstrate how to interrogate without getting physical." He winked at them, and they grinned back.

~*~*~

It was dark, but not quiet. There was a constant sound of pacing nearby, which in a strange sort of way calmed his headache. He tried to open his eyes and groaned. He forced himself to sit up, rubbing his numb arm with the other one. He dazily looked around, and his eyes focused on the source of the pacing.

"Nautanki saala..." he muttered to himself, wincing in pain as he sat up properly against the cold and hard wall behind him. Yudi, his head bleeding, was pacing around the room beside his. Aalekh was hidden from his view because of the wall beside the one he was leaning against. There were bars coming out from the wall, through which Aalekh could see his friend.

"Oye!" he called quietly. The pacing abrptly stopped, followed by a sudden rushing sound. Yudi was gripping the bars as tightly as he could, as if trying to bend them. His knuckles turned white from the pressure.

"Aa - Aalekhh!! Tum! Oh my God... you're..." he gasped. "You're alive!" he exclaimed, but calmed down when he received Aalekh's glare. "Are you OK?" he whispered.

"I fell from a hilltop, was hit by many trees and bushes... do you think I'm OK?" he gritted through his teeth, mostly from the pain than anger. He had never been so glad to be alive before; this time, he had people and reasons to live for.

~*~*~

Rajveer moved some hanging branches out of his way as he walked through the jungle, looking wornout and dirty. He suddenly stopped, turning back and holding his hand out. A feminine hand accepted it. He looked at their entwined hands for a few moments before snapping out of the daze and moving on as quietly as possible.

"Captain Rajveer!" an unpleasant familiar voice called him. He froze on his steps.

Precap - "He hasn't seen you yet! Go, hurry!" Rajveer whispers frustratedly.

"Dude, you're heavy!" Yudi tells Aalekh, who is balanced on his shoulders.

"Captain Rajveer!" an unpleasant familiar voice called him, seeming to be coming from all around them. He froze on his steps, feeling the grip on his hand tighten. "Don't think you can run or hide from me... the entire forest is mine Captain." We see Rajveer's shocked face, which turns sideways to look at the woman holding his hand with a similar reaction: Chavi Mittal.

"Where's the voice coming from?!" she whispers.

"I don't know..." Rajveer muttered.

"Surrender now, if you want to live... or shall I say, if you want your cadets and best friend to live! Come to Point 894 immediately." The voice boomed once again.

"Whoever or where ever he is... I don't think he knows that you are with me, or that you're here at all." Rajveer said quietly to her. "Nandini you need to get out of here and get help..."

"How do you know that he doesn't know I'm here? And he just said that the entire forest is his, so obviously he has heavy security!" she whispered fiercly.

"And you're a trained army Captain, Nandini! If he knew you were here he wouldn't demand that I surrender, but come hunting us down. He hasn't seen you yet! So go now, hurry, before he really does hunt us down!" Rajveer whispers frustratedly. Nandini shook her head determinedly.

"No. I'm not leaving both of my best friends to have horrible endings like Naveen... don't you remember what our motto was? 'Together always, never separate'... how can you break that now after so many years?" Rajveer merely looked at her thoughtfully.

~*~*~

"Why do you always go around with a knife?" Yudi asked Aalekh as the latter dug a hole in the ground around one of the bars separating his and Yudi's cells. He ignored the question and signed asking for help. Yudi kneeled down and tried to move the bar, but to no avail. Aalekh went back to digging more when they heard voices and footsteps coming their way.

They both scrambled away after trying their best to keep the hole hidden. Thankfully, Aalekh's quick and sly thinking and experiences from jail came to use when he chose the bar farthest away from anyone's view from outside the cells and beside the wall.

Aalekh pretended to be unconscious still, groaning softly in pain occassionally. Yudi on the other hand went back to pacing, sighing now and then. Three armed men came into view. One of them threw a piece of stale bread at both their faces, and another one pushed two glasses of water in, tipping it slightly so that the water poured out.

Aalekh and Yudi grit their teeth as they heard the men laugh, fuming with anger. Yudi had a difficult time not to jump at them, but he remembered Rajveer's teachings. He would only make things worse if he lost control.

After some insults being thrown and more laughter the men got bored from not getting any replies and went back to the direction they came from. When the sounds completely died down, the two went back to digging. Time passed by, and before they knew it they found themselves running as quietly as possible in the opposite direction from where the three men came.

"Dead end..." Yudi said disappointedly hitting the wall above his head. An echo came back, and they looked at the wall in shock. "It's hollow!"

"Yeah, but it sounded like it was high up..." Aalekh muttered thoughtfully, the wheels in his head turning. Taking out his knife once again, he stabbed the wall, not surprised when it easily created a small hole. Working on it some more with the help of Yudi, they created a big hole on the wall high above their heads. "Hoist me up!" he ordered Yudi.

Yudi looked at him for a few moments, balancing up the positives and negatives. He realised one of them had to do it, and it wouldn't be Aalekh because he had fallen from a hill. Yudi gave in and put his hands out to give Aalekh a boost. Soon, Aalekh was seen on a wavering Yudi's shoulders, climbing in through the hole into the small room.

"Dude, you're heavy!" Yudi told him. Sighing in relief when the weight was lifted from his shoulder, he checked to see whether anyone was coming or not. He held up his hands, being yanked up by Aalekh. They looked around in wonder; it was a safe of some sort. There were all types of ammunitions with one problem; they were all old models that had been banned years ago.

"Point 894... that's the lake isn't it? Remember we snuck off once from the academy for a date?" Nandini asked with a smile recollecting old days. Rajveer glanced at her for a moment before looking away uncomfortably.

"My friend was feeling guilty about his love for my little sister once again, but this time thinking about his past relationships, most of which didn't go well." Naveen's voiceover says.

We see flashbacks of Rajveer's past relationship with Nandini, the nervousness, the romance, and later on their differences getting in the way, the lack of interest, the arguements, etc.

"Having Nandini, his friend, back in his life was nothing to create a storm in his emotions, but having Nandini, his ex-girlfriend, was creating a havoc and confusion between the past feelings for her and his present feelings for Naina."

"Raj? Hello? Don't tell me you're falling for me all over again! You used to have that dazed look whenever I was around... it was so cute!" Nandini said with a grin, while Rajveer keeps looking at her. He snapped out of it when they heard something move a few meters away on the ground, or rather underground. They hid away behind some bushes and watched as two figures came out from under the ground, argueing softly.

"Chief you kicked my shoulder!"

"Shut up Nautanki! If anyone hears us they'll be kicking a lot more than that!" Rajveer grinned and got up.

"Cadets! Are you OK?" he asked as quietly as he could. Aalekh and Yudi exchanged delighted glances and came forward, but stopped when they saw Nandini come out.

"Nai...? Uh Sir... who is...?" Yudi asked uncertainly, slapping himself mentally for thinking it was Naina.

"This is Captain Nandini, my old batch-mate and good friend." Rajveer introduced.

"I'm not old... I'm younger than you! And you forgot to mention ex-girlfriend." she joked, not noticing Aalekh and Yudi's shocked looks. Rajveer did though, and changed the topic.

"How did you guys get out from - underground?!" They explained everything after taking shelter under a tree behind which they could easily hide if anyone came by. All four went back to the hole cautiously, taking a look at the ammunitions.

"These were banned so many years ago... and made even before that... but how did these get here?" Rajveer murmured to himself.

"Well many underground terrorrists get hold of old weapons in many ways, so this is probably one of those groups."

"No that's not possible... this model, called the 'Kate' in USA," Nandini picked up a rifle, "was banned due to classified reasons, and all of them were destroyed soon after they were made. Only the people with highest priorities could've gotten their hands on one even... so many of them proves that this terrorrist group we're dealing with is nothing small." Seeing their questioning glances, she explained, "I work in the Department of Ammunitions Defence, which means I had to research every type of ammunitions made in the past four to five decades..."

"So what do we do about it?" Yudi asked. Suddenly, Aalekh looked at Rajveer.

"Where are the others?" The colour from Rajveer's face drained.

"They're heading towards a place near Point 894!" he replied, horrified. "We have to stop them before-"

"Before what Sir?" Naina's voice asked. She was standing with Ali and Pooja, all of them carrying rifles on their backs, no doubt taken from the terrorrists. They explained that when they were about to leave, the men started talking amongst themselves about Point 894 being the trap. So Naina, Ali and Pooja followed Rajveer and Nandini, leaving Huda, Sai and Kamran in charge of their shelter along with guarding the terrorrists.

Naina eyed Rajveer and Nandini, but dropped her gaze as she saw Aalekh, Pooja and Yudi looking at her.

"The safety of my friends and her mentor wasn't the only rason my little sister followed them." says Naveen's voiceover. "And the thing that nagged her was that she didn't know what the other reason was."

"So, how do we find Captain Abhimanyu?" Aalekh asked, trying to get his friend's mind off the Army Captains as well as being truely concerned about the man who had stood by him at so many occasions.

"We have to get in there..." said Rajveer. There was a few moments of uneasy silence.

"Why don't we go back to the shelter for now? Maybe we could get something out of those goons..." Ali suggested.

"Yeah... plus, Qai - I mean Aalekh and Yudi's connections are damaged; they can get recharged." Pooja added. Rajveer gazed at Naina and nodded as he picked up the rifles and bombs they'd taken from the hole.

It was a quiet journey back to the clearing, none of them knowing what would happen if they broke the silence. Soon, they saw a small light somewhere nearby and knew that it was their camp. All of them were glad when they saw Captain Abhimanyu Rai Chauhan standing there talking to the cadets, since it got their minds off everything else for a while.

"Are you OK?" Rajveer asked him after he and Nandini hugged. He stood silently for a moment before giving his best friend a sad smile and shaking his head. They all looked at him confusedly. Abhimanyu thought carefully before choosing his words.

"I was... taken... by the leader of this cult, threatened that all of you are going to die, threatened that I am going to die, and then... I was released..."

"Who is the leader?" Rajveer asked urgently. Abhimanyu closed his eyes as he replied. The stricken faces of the cadets, the grave look on Nandini and the pained expression of Rajveer was not something he could bear to see.

"Gehlot." After a long period of silence, he spoke again. "It's a cult that has been running for decades all over this country, and anyone who has tried to stop it are now lying in their graves in this very forest." The cadets shivered unknowingly, realising the intensity of the situation.

"But an entire army never tried to stop them, and that's exactly what we are!" Nandini said confidently. She stretched her hand out, looking at each of them in turn. The spirit of fighting for and defending their country awakened, and they all added their hands to Nandini's. They would stop this cult at any cost.

"Why would he release you? There has to be a catch... I know he wouldn't let such an important factor go unless there's something in it for him." Rajveer told the group. He turned to Abhimanyu, who was rubbing his neck from a dull pain he complained about a few times. "What did they do? Explain all the details..."

"He had me at gunpoint and threatened to kill all of you, so I let him blindfold me and tie up my hands. Two of his men spun me so I wouldn't be able to tell the direction, then pushed me along to their hideout. They didn't take the blindfold or hand-tie off after I got there, but gave me a small beating. The strangest thing about it was that they seemed to... pull... at my shirt." Abhimanyu explained, frowning as he recalled the events.

"Where were you when he caught you?" This question was from Aalekh.

"At some sort of cave, trying to..." his eyes grew wide. "Oh my God how could I forget?! The Headquarters! I contacted them... I didn't turn it off when Gehlot caught me, so they must have heard everything... I told them our location too! Why didn't they send any help along yet?!" He looked around frantically.

"They did, but Gehlot's men got to most of them." Nandini replied. His frown deepened in confusion.

"Most of them? How do you know? Wait... you're...?" She nodded.

"Sir," Naina started, trying to determine how to describe her suspicion, but failed. "Well... about them - pulling - at your shirt... I don't think..." she huffed quietly to herself in dismay as she tried to describe it unsuccessfully, but looked up in shock as Rajveer backed her up.

"I've been thinking of this as well." he gave her a piercing glance, making her feel as if he could read her inside out. She looked away at the intensity, unable to stand up to such a strong emotion being conveyed through one glance. The next moment she looked back at him though, this time with excitement.

"Sir!" she called out, facing both Abhimanyu and Rajveer. She turned back to look at her friends to see if any of them noticed, and saw Huda with a look of slight recognition as he stared intently at Abhimanyu's collar.

Rajveer and Nandini understood immediately and exchanged glances. They quietly proceeded towards a confused Abhimanyu, signing at him to stay quiet as well. There was a shine now and then from under his collar fold, like light reflecting off metal or something shiny. Huda's expert eyes had caught it as soon as he saw Naina stare at it in surprise.

Taking out the white handkerchief, to Naina's surprise since she thought it was still back in the tent, Rajveer reached out to take a small chip-like gadget. Yudi and Abhimanyu gasped, both recognising what it was.

"Oh my G-" Yudi whispered in awe, but stopped when he saw Rajveer's sign of keeping quiet.

"Chauhan Saab are you feeling better now? That wound still looks very raw... are you sure you don't need rest?" he asked in such a genuine tone that most of them stared at him, confused. Nandini, Abhimanyu and Huda though, understood what he was doing, and smirked as they played along.

"I'm fine Raj... it was a small wound. Don't worry. It's more important to figure out what's going on right now!" Abhimanyu replied.

"No. You're going to rest Chauhan, and so will Cadets - Sahani and...?" Nandini asked, looking pointedly at Aalekh.

"Aalekh. Just Aalekh." he replied indifferently. She raised an eyebrow but didn't take it further.

"Cadet Sai and Cadet Kamran, could you please assist Captain Abhimanyu, Cadet Yudi and Cadet Aalekh to the tents and see to their needs? It's better to be well rested and freshened before going into such a complicated discussion." Rajveer suggested, looking at the chip. He looked back up at Abhimanyu and Nandini, trying to decide what to do.

"In our days as cadets, usually Raj and I were what Abhimanyu called 'front-benchers', while he was a 'back-bencher'. Nandini was both, depending on the situation and her mood." says Naveen's voiceover, showing Abhimanyu and Nandini's expressions, both looking at Rajveer expectantly. "So usually whenever we did a group work, one of us two were considered the leader, most of the times me. But now that I am no longer with them, my friend Raj was automatically given that position." We see his determined face as he looks around at everyone.

He reached out to the chip and put it back under Abhimanyu's collar. "Get some sleep Chauhan. And don't worry, we'll get them."

"Are you sure you're not trying to convince yourself and not me?" Abhimanyu quietly asked.

"Even though he was given the role of the leader, he was still a human being, one who would be one of the greatest friends but needed some himself too at times." says Naveen's voiceover again as Rajveer looks down.

"Don't worry Raj, we'll get them." Abhimanyu repeated his words reassuringly, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder before turning away and walking towards the tent along with Aalekh, Yudi, Sai and Kamran. For a few moments, Rajveer keeps looking on at the direction that Abhimanyu went in, deep in thought. We see flashes of Naina's worry, Nandini's understanding, Yudi's sympathy, Huda's admiration and Pooja's respect.

"One thing common in all of these people at that moment was that every one of them had vowed in a way or other to stand by my dear friend till the adventure or their lives came to an end, whichever came first." says Naveen's voiceover as we see the flashes of everyone's faces, stopping on Rajveer.

Precap - Rajveer is giving out directions to everyone, similar to a few episodes earlier.

He and Nandini are sitting by a campfire as Naina watches from a distance.

Abhimanyu was now in the tent with Colonel Shakti, who was still unconscious, trying to get some sleep. Indicating that he didn't need anything to Sai, who was there to assist, he became restless, and we see flashbacks of Gehlot taking him to the lair.

"Chauhan was in the dilemma about why a person even he considered a mentor would do such a thing, and why he couldn't figure out the conspiracy of the device found under his own collar." we hear Naveen's voiceover. "And also on the dilemma of how he could do his role as a soldier and a friend in this case." Abhimanyu sighed and closed his eyes.

Aalekh and Yudi were in the tent Captain Rajveer was resting in earlier, tending to their wounds. In this case though, they were happily ordering Kamran about.

"Get me some water, quickly." Aalekh threatened.

"No way, bring the first-aid kit for me ASAP; it's more important!" Yudi protested. Kamran looked at the two confusedly and with slight fear, he ran to get the water, knowing that Aalekh was the more dangerous one. On the way back, he saw the first-aid kit lying nearby and picked it up, grinning to himself. Now he wouldn't have to earn glares or threats from either one.

While Kamran was gone, Aalekh and Yudi moved closer and were discussing the device. The latter explained what it could be; e.g. a tracking chip, an eavesdropping device, an electrically run device, etc, and that Rajveer was just making sure that whatever it was it wouldn't be able to keep updated on their plans and discussions. Kamran found them both lying down facing the ceiling of the tent thoughtfully.

"Aalekh was in the dilemma about the state of his mentor, Abhimanyu. He didn't want to see him hurt through that chip in anyway." says Naveen's voiceover. We see flashes of Abhimanyu standing up for Aalekh and vice versa. "But our techno-genius Yudi's dilemma was what type of device it was, and if he'd get a chance to get a look at it properly. He wasn't in a dilemma about the trouble they were in though; this was an adventure for him where he knew they'd win someway or other." We see Yudi grin widely, and there are flashes of his memory of whatever happened earlier that day.

Outside, Rajveer was giving out directions to Huda, Ali, Pooja and Naina. Sai was sent back to watch over the two seniors just in case there was an emergency. The four cadets were once again setting up the traps, this time much better planned and complicated ones as well as the simpler ones from before. Nandini gave them some suggestions too, before disappearing from view behind the two tents, were Rajveer was sitting with his back turned to them in front of the small fire.

She joined him. The distance between them was shorter than Rajveer would be comfortable with. He squirmed a little and moved away. Nandini noticed this and looked at him thoughtfully.

"Nandini was in dilemma about her friend, batch-mate, team-mate, and mostly, her ex-boyfriend, who she had always known to be comfortable around her whether they were friends, more, or less." Flashes of Nandini and Rajveer laughing and fooling around are shown.

Soon, the flashes become more deep and romantic, for example, they are gazing at each other, abandoning their dinner as the only barrier between them is a flickering candle. That too, blows out, and everything fades to blackness as they get closer to each other.

Rajveer jumps up slightly as he comes out of his thoughts.

"Raj, who always had some kind of dilemma about others, was finally having a dilemma about himself and his feelings. He was torn between his past and present. The confidence that he only loved my sister truly was wavering slightly, but he held himself composure strong, something I failed to do with Ritu."

He looks at the fire, then at Nandini, who had been looking at him since she joined him. This was the moment that Naina captured in her mind and she was about to call Rajveer. She stopped on her tracks and quietly watched, her face looking troubled, as if she was fighting the storm of emotions passing through her heart.

"My innocent sister... only if she knew for sure what her feelings were, she wouldn't be in this dilemma of confusion about what she felt for Raj." The episode ends on Naina's troubled face.

Precap - "Sir" "Raj!" Naina and Nandini scream out as there is a gunshot.

"I told you that he shouldn't be harmed!" Gehlot yells at a man who meekly tries to offer an explanation.
