News Flash RJ Production Company sends its heartiest apologies to all the viewers! It was quite a swamped night yesterday, but to make up for it, there will be two back to back episodes aired. Enjoy!

~*~*~

Rajveer dismissed them, and Pooja lingered behind along with the other five. He went to his room and watched from the window as she approached Koel.

"Koel, woh..." Pooja searched for words to describe how much she regretted for her actions. "I'm... I'm really sorry. It was just that the person I used to think was my Ranjha, for whom I even joined a Military Academy, left me on the wedding mandap and I couldn't bear the thought of losing Ali too. So I guess I over reacted when he showed that he cared about you... since he never does that for any girl except for his sisters and me." she said quickly, blushing.

The five and even Koel herself stared at her in surprise; she had said more than one sentence without any reference to mobiles!

"Oye, what happened to all your speakers?" she asked. Everyone sighed in relief and looked at Koel for her response. She merely nodded and turned to leave.

"That can't be all!" said Ali. "Koel, Pooja has accepted her mistake and apologized... one can't just nod it away! It takes quite a lot of strength to do what she has done." he said, thinking back to his experiences.

"OK, I'll tell you what... a new start?" Pooja asked her. She nodded uncertainly and was surprised with a sudden warm hug engulfing her. She smiled in amusement unintentionally, and so did everyone as her smile seemed to brighten up their moods.

"How about a party to properly welcome Miss Koel?" Huda asked flirtatiously. She looked at Pooja and Naina, to find them signalling her to ignore him. Her smile widened and she let out a giggle. Unknown to all of them except for Naina, so did Rajveer from his window.

Naina lingered back whilst everyone else headed towards the mess. She gave a thumbs up to him, when he signed her to go to his room. She shook her head and caught up with the others, her cheeks burning red.

~*~*~

"Raj, what are you doing at the window?" Nandini inquired as she entered his room. He shook his head and closed the window.

"So what brings you here?"

"Well, since you ran off as soon as you saw the press, you forgot completely to say goodbye properly to Major Samar. So he decided to drop by!" she said enthusiastically. "He and Abhimanyu are at the mess now, I've come to get you. Come on!" she pulled him.

They reached the canteen, where incidentally the First Year Cadets were planning the welcoming party for Koel. It seemed that Abhimanyu, even though he was the Vice Principal, and Major Samar were helping!

"What's going on guys?" Rajveer asked innocently. Naina rolled her eyes and made a small move so that she was closer to him. Of course everyone noticed, but that didn't mean they would rat on her, not yet anyway.

"Sir, we're planning to have a party to welcome Miss Koel - properly - to our humble home." replied Huda. He cut low on his energy when Rajveer's piercing look reminded him that he was talking to her brother.

"That's great, but do keep the fact that your exams are coming up very soon-" Huda muttered "Too soon!" to himself at this, "in mind. I'm sure all of you will willingly help Cadet Koel to catch up with the studies. She will be excused for some of the physical tests, but will have to work extra hard later since she'll be giving those exams next year along with the normal ones."

The cadets nodded, and Rajveer gave a warm look to his sister. For once, she didn't ignore it.

"Finally, Raj knew what he had to do to keep his sister happy; to treat her like he would treat anyone else, and not return the hostility she expressed." Naveen's voiceover tell us. Koel is shown indicating something to Rajveer with her eyes. Realiation dawned upon him and he blushed slightly. She wanted him to get closer to Naina.

"Shekhawat, why is it that every girl, even your sister, makes you blush?" Major Samar asked amusedly. He saw the cadets' surprised and confused expressions, so he introduced himself properly. "I used to be in his place quite a long time back, and he used to be in your place along with his over-intelligent batch-mates!"

"You're Captain Samar! Bha-" she left off, not knowing how he felt about her brother.

"It's Major now, Ahluwalia Junior! And yes, I know he talked about me a lot. After all, I used to be the ones saving him and his friends from the punishments Major Nair used to assign them! Don't worry, you are free to talk about your brother with me." he said with a kind smile. Naina smiled back.

"Sir, please excus-" Rajveer started saying, but Major Samar cut him off.

"No, Cade - Major. I came here because you decided that a strong, brave and true soldier like you should run away from the media, and I will NOT let you run off again. You will help these poor souls to plan the best welcoming party KMA has ever seen for Shekhawat Junior and re-welcoming party for me!"

"You...?" Rajveer asked. Nandini and Abhimanyu grinned.

"He's taking Major Nair's position Raj!" Abhimanyu told him. He and even the cadets were immensely happy with this piece of information. It wasn't everyday that you have two GOOD teachers who are willing to plan a party before the exams!

"And that means a bit of Major Nair's temper and disciplines, too." Major Samar warned. "Your exams are coming up, so I suggest that all of you have extra lessons like Ahluwalia's batch did. I will be busy with the case, but feel free to knock on my door anytime that it isn't locked. I'm sure Virani wouldn't mind helping out during her stay here either."

"I'm staying here?" Nandini asked in surprise.

"You aren't? Oh well, now you are." he replied simply, confusing everyone except for Abhimanyu even more.

Rajveer was very impatient throughout all these conversations. He kept glancing at Naina, who tried to act like she didn't notice. Seeing the couple so restless, Abhimanyu decided to make up for breaking up their moment at the jungle and told the cadets they should start preparing for the party. He suggested that Pooja, Ali and Sai help with the food and Aalekh to help out when needed, since he was inured. Huda, Kamran and Yudi were in charge of decorations, while Naina was going to help out where ever needed.

"You know Naina, I don't think they'll need much help... why don't you show Koel around. Raj, help her!" he said. Rajveer agreed instantly.

"Chale?" he asked his ladies. Huda watched, longing to be in his place, and Yudi hit his arm to wake him up from the nearly impossible daydream.

As soon as Rajveer, Koel and Naina exited the canteen, Koel stopped and stood in front of them.

"OK look, we all know that I don't want to be shown KMA with YOU TWO, at least I know I don't... and it's too darn obvious that you two want to be alone, so I'll grant you this wish." she told them.

Naina and Rajveer exchanged glances and were about to speak when Koel interrupted them.

"BUT, under one condition..." she said with a mischievous smile and glint in her eyes. It was very unlike the Koel Rajveer knew; he had rarely seen her like this. One thing was for sure though, he was enjoying this new brighter side of his little sister, both for her and his own wellbeing.

~*~*~

"Sir, I hope you don't mind me asking, but shouldn't you be preparing for your classes tomorrow morning and the session at the afternoon?" Nandini asked as they sat at the canteen, tasting the samples of the wonderful shrimp toast Suriji and Pooja had made [I just helped my mom make these lol... she wants me to start learning cooking since I'm turning 15, and that is sooooo weird!]. "Mmm this is so good... I wish we had this when we were cadets!"

"Puttar, it wasn't made during your generation and it's not going to be made for any other generations either! If future soldiers eat these more than once, you can forget all about even stepping foot on a war-field!" Suriji scolded, handing out more samples nonetheless.

"Suriji is absolutely right!" Major Samar commented, taking some more himself. Abhimanyu and Nandini raised an eyebrow at him, but he ignored it. "And Nandini, do you really think I would leave my work till the last moment? If I did, Ahluwalia Shekhawat wouldn't make work their primary priority, would they?" he asked, referring to Naveen and Rajveer, who had been greatly influenced by Major Samar during their academy days.

"So you've prepared for tomorrow..." Nandini said nervously.

"Virani, I know you want to know about the case, but I also know how well you know that for a lawyer, discussing his case outside court with someone not involved would be unethical."

"But Sir-"

"No buts Virani." he said in an authoratative voice, closing the topic.

~*~*~

"Where is she?!" Rajveer asked himself frustratedly. He checked his watch once again, and stood up from his couch to pace around the living room of his small KMA quarters. He opened the door and came outside, looking for her in all directions. Walking down the hallways, he headed towards the girls' hostel.

"Good evening Sir!" the guard saluted him, and he barely nodded in acknowledgment.

"Is N - Cadet Koel inside?" he asked. The guard shook his head, and Rajveer turned around, annoyed. All he wanted was to spend some time, ALONE, with her. Was that too much to ask? And where was that Koel? She had said it would only take a five minutes, but twenty minutes had passed already!

"Looking for someone?" Her cheeky voice floated towards him from behind. Rajveer closed his eyes, calming himself as he inwardly promised to make his sister regret taking Naina away in every way possible. He turned around, and forgot that he was even irritated at all.

Koel stood in front of him, Naina beside her supportingly with a wide smile. Koel was for once, looking like a girl. A pretty, innocent, bright girl. The shaded blue and black salwar kameez would've looked quite lame or straight out ugly on anyone else, but it seemed to make Koel's presence brighter and brought out her inner side. Her hair let down instead of being pulled back into a tight ponytail gelled perfectly well with her whole image.

"I thought since I'm going to have the best welcoming party at KMA ever, I should look the part too..." she said with a blush, something not many people had seen on her. Rajveer wondered where this Koel was all these years. He went over and hugged her tightly.

"You look like an angel - oh sorry, I mean a devil in disguise!" he said, placing a soft kiss on her forehead. "Are you sure you don't want a grand tour of KMA with me and my best cadet?"

"I'd rather not." she said flatly. She left, and Rajveer took a step forward when he was sure she was gone.

"You know, I have to thank you for helping her so much..." he said quietly, taking Naina's wrist and moving away from the guard's view.

"Oh no, not at all! It was my pleasure..." she said, and for a moment Rajveer thought she really didn't understand him, but his suspicions were clear soon. "No need to thank me..." she said as she looked up at him. He took her other wrist and entwined their hands, stepping closer.

"Are you sure about that? You don't have to be so modest all the time Naina..." he told her. It was time to pick up from where they had left off in the midst of the jungle arresting Gehlot and keeping away from the poison.

~*~*~

"Done!" Huda said with satisfaction. He thumped Yudi on the back happily, making him choke on the shrimp toast. He started coughing violently when Dr. Shalini, who had just entered the canteen ran to him and performed the procedure to stop his choking. She sighed in relief when he stopped.

"Cadet Huda, be careful of what you do!" she said in an irritated tone. Huda merely raised an eyebrow as if amused. "Cadet Yudi, are you OK? Drink some water..." she handed him some water, rubbing his back soothingly.

Yudi nodded and gulped down as much water as he could, making sure that when he coughed, he was facing Huda. When Dr. Shalini went away, he was about to explode on Huda, but Huda stopped him.

"Before you say anything, you should thank me. If it hadn't been for me, Mother India wouldn't have gotten a chance to save your life, rub your back or hand you water..." he smirked and went off to annoy Ali, leaving a speechless Yudi behind.

Precap - "I have such a proof that no one can deny, that will prove Lalaji as the head, the 'Boss' you might say, of this cult." says Major Samar.

"Finally!" Abhimanyu whispers excitedly.

I thought of that idea too, but the thing is, I share the laptop with my family & my computer is quite slow... and I come back from school on Fridays around 5 PM... so all of it together kinda messes up a time I can air the episodes! Plus, we go out on weekends...

Anyway, here is tonight's episode! Very sorry because it is lacking the second part of the precap; I completely forgot about it! I promise I'll try my best not to slack off like this anymore!

Naina looked into his eyes nervously as he lowered his face. Her heart was drumming loudly against her chest. Everything in her view was now blurred, except for his intense and fiercely loving eyes that seemed to pierce her heart. She felt her lips tingle, sending a strange sort of pleasant shiver down her body as his lips brushed against hers with feather light touches. His fingers tenderly traced her jaw, moving up to her cheekbones.

A lightning seemed to strike them inside as they suddenly broke apart, taking a few steps back. Her breath was quick and shallow, almost coming out as soft gasps. What was going on? She didn't dare to look at him, but her instincts automatically steered her towards him, as they had many, many other times in the past. She couldn't stay away from him, no matter what happened.

"Naina... I - I'm sorry. I gu - I shouldn't have... I'm extremely sorry Naina." he apologized without facing her. She could see a turmoil of emotions running through his face. She opened her mouth to say that it was OK, and to console him, but nothing came out. He turned his back to her and said, "we should be going to the party now." She nodded and they headed towards the canteen.

As they walked, Naina reached out and took Rajveer's hand. He looked at her in surprise, and she smiled in return. He smiled back and kissed her hand softly, tightly holding it till they reached the party. Soon they were amongst their friends, chatting, joking, laughing, dancing and even singing in some parts.

Koel surprised everyone by blending in perfectly well with the atmostphere, dancing along enthusiastically with the Bhangda music. Huda and many other guys tried getting close with her, but Rajveer and Ali kept them away. Naina and Pooja both enjoyed the party immensely with the new addition, as well as of course their partners. Pooja even managed to get Ali to dance with the Bhangda music with Koel's help.

The scene ends on Koel's brightly lit joyful face.

~*~*~

A very familiar scene; my apologies for not getting it exactly right.

"R - Sir!" Naina called Rajveer, who was hurriedly walking out of his room, putting his watch on.

"Yes Cadet?" he asked. She looked embarrassed for a few moments. Rajveer was starting to get curious now. She shook her head and was about to leave when his authorotative voice called her back. "What is it Naina?" he added on a softer note.

Naina looked around, then took out a white handkerchief out. She handed it to him.

"What is this for?" he asked.

"Gifts don't need occasions." she said softly before turning to leave again.

"Cadet Singh! About turn." he ordered. She squeezed her eyes shut and turned around. "Hold out your left hand." she was about to speak when he demanded, "hold out your left hand Cadet Singh!"

She jumped in surprise and did as he said, still confused. He placed his watch on her palm, enclosing her fingers on it safely.

"Take care of yourself and your time." he told her before kissing her on the cheek and leaving. She touched her cheek with a silly smile. Looking around to see if anyone had seen them, she left for her class as well.

~*~*~

"He's on time for once!" Nandini commented about Major Samar, who was discussing something with an intern. Rajveer and Abhimanyu looked at her.

"He's always on time." Rajveer stated. She rolled her eyes and their concentration was diverted to the front as the plaintiff declared the beginning of the session.

Time passed by, points were made, arguements won and lost, proof were presented in and witnesses were heard. After what seemed like everything was done, Major Samar stood up.

"And now Sir, last but never the least, I have such a proof that no one can deny, that will prove Lalaji as the head, the 'Boss' you might say, of this cult." he told the judge and the court. Everyone from both sides looked at him in surprise and anticipation. The yall, even Majors Bhargav & Nair and Captain Salve and Gehlot, knew that when he made a point, he made it with a lot of thought and effort into it. "I would like to call upon Koel Singh."

It was as if the court was in uproar. Who was this Koel Singh? Was she related to Major Rajveer Singh? And why did Gehlot and Major Nair look like they were just given a round of electric shocks? Why was Major Bhargav and Captain Salve whispering furiously amongst each other? And... did the three Major Generals look extremely positive with a pinch of worry?

"Order!" the judge demanded. The court calmed down, most of the people turning their heads back to see who Koel Singh was. Surprising them, she entered through the side door. Without having a single glance at anyone, she looked straight ahead as she stood at the witness panel. Her eyes wandered around the crows nervously though, and Rajveer's encouraging warm smile brought back the confidence.

Precap - "That man isn't even worthy of being a husband or a father... how will he ever be anywhere near being a service to his country?!" says Koel angrily.

"I really think she likes me... what do you say Yudiye?" Huda asks Yudi as everyone else simple rolls their eyes.

"Sir my worthy opponent here is breaking the rule! There was no 'Koel Singh' filed under the witnesses!" Captain Salve objected fiercely. Gehlot looked like he had no idea of what was going on or what was going to happen. He kept looking back and forth Major Bhargav and Koel. The judge looked at Major Samar expectantly for an explanation.

"That is because at the time she was known as 'Sherry Singh'. And before you object that changing names loses the value of the witness, I had updated the witness list last night, authorisedly right after Cadet Koel Singh, a new cadet of Kanchanjunga Military Academy changed her name officially." he explained without letting Captain Salve interrupt.

"Finally!" Abhimanyu whispered excitedly. Till now, it seemed as if the case was balanced, so there was a 50-50 situation. Now that Koel had arrived, it was bound to have more effect from their side. Though they knew very little of Koel's life or what she actually knew they were confident that Major Samar had something big in store. Or else he wouldn't have saved it till the end.

"Now Cadet Singh-" Major Samar began, not knowing what effect it had on Rajveer. He fondled with the neatly folded handkerchief on his lap. "-what is your relationship with Lalaji?"

Koel took a deep breath before answering.

"He's - unfortunately - my father." she said with a loathsome glance at the mentioned man.

"Objection Sir. Opinions included." Captain Salve piped in. The judge nodded and indicated Major Samar to explain it to Koel.

"Cadet Singh-" more fondling lovingly with the initials knit beautifully on the handkerchief "- please refrain from adding your opinions. Only facts and straight answers to the questions asked, and if you have anything to add that you think is important, ask for permission first." he explained. Koel nodded. "So what exactly does your father do to earn his living?"

"People say he's a minister, but I don't really know." she replied with a shrug, then hurriedly added, "and that's not an opinion." Major Samar chuckled at her paranoia.

"Do you know what he did when you were a child?" She answered negative. "Why don't you believe those people who say he's a minister?"

"Objection Sir, dragging without any point."

"Obection overruled. A very unnecessary objection Captain Salve; it does relate to the case. But nonetheless Major Samar, speed it up."

"Yes Sir. Cadet Singh, you live with your father, am I correct? So what exactly does he or did he do all day for the past few years?"

"He..." she trailed off, thinking hard. "He was never around actually. He usually left me with..." she cleared her throat, looking down anxiously.

"He left you with...?"

"With people he said were working under him at his office..." she replied uneasily.

"Why? Where was your mother?" Koel glared at Gehlot angrily as she replied.

"I don't know! She's probably-" she stopped as she realized it was an opinion.

"Ah... so did these men who - looked after you - ever talk about work?"

"Yes. I've heard them say that their transactions or trades were failing... that's when he-" she nodded at Gehlot "-left me with them." After some thoughts, she added, "Oh and he always had to use passwords or codes... when I asked him why, he told me that it was for the government's safety." Gehlot looked like he was ready to jump up and put his hand over her mouth as he heard her reply. Major Samar turned to look at the judge.

"Point to be noted, Sir. I have never heard of such a law where you have to use codes or passwords unless at work or something extremely delicate. I have, though, studied the work Lalaji has done and the projects he had taken upon himself in the past 10-12 years officially, and none of them were anything even nearly as sensitive to use codes!"

By now, everyone was at the edge of their seats as if watching a thriller movie. Rajveer gripped the edge of the bench very tightly as he heard that Koel was left alone with strangers who were most probably terrorrists. His knuckles were turning white, but the sight of the white symbolo of love and support laying on his lap as he looked down in frustration automatically made his grip loose.

"Sir, there is no rule that you cannot use codes, either! Sensitive or not, he was merely thinking of the safety of his country and government! We should credit him for the care and dedication he has put into his work, not critisize it!" Captain Salve objected.

"Codes like 'fire off' or 'bull let go'? Oh and just in case you don't understand, the second one actually means 'bullet go', because one of the men who 'took care' of me was explaining it to his mate on the phone!" Koel fumed, panting with anger.

"Another thing I should add... he l-left his second wife, my mom, with those strangers he left me with, who tortured her till she was completely broken! He left her with them on purpose! I watched the whole thing... he - he..." she sobbed, resting her head on the railing of the panel.

Her painful sobs floated around the silent room and into all of their hearts like a sharp knife. Major Samar placed an encouraging and supporting hand on her head. Rajveer looked away as the tears flowed down his cheek. These tears were not only to match Koel's grief though. Abhimanyu and Nandini watched him and Koel in shock.

The defendants fumed at their clients as this was revealed. Gehlot merely shook his head continuously, his head bowed almost in defeat. Major Nair threw hateful glares at Koel and Major Samar.

"Sir, this is - this is..." Captain Salve looked for something to defend her client. Major Bhargav stood up and indicated her to sit down.

"If I may, Sir?" After getting confirmation from the judge, he approaced Koel. "You say you watched your mother being tortured, till she was completely broken? And that your father did it on purpose? What proof do you have? Just your memory? You silly girl, you were only four years old! It is merely a nightmare you had, probably after your parents had a simple-"

"She was four, but I was twelve, Sir." Rajveer stood up and told the judge, not looking in any direction except for straight ahead in his attention position. "And I can say that everything Cadet Koel has just said is true." It was as if thunder had struck the court room; it was in an uproar.

~*~*~

"Who can tell me..." Lolita Ma'am said as she added another point to the list on the board.

The First Year Cadets were in their history class, wrapping up their syllabus before the final exam coming up in only a month. Ali and Naina, as usual, were taking down notes occassionally, but even they were too bored as Lolita Ma'am lectured on about the topic.

Huda whistled softly to Yudi and whispered in his ear, "I really think she likes me... what do you say Yudiye?"

The rest heard him as well, and rolled their eyes. They wondered what he would do this time to get a girl's attention.

"I say: WAKE UP..." Yudi whispered back, checking to see if Lolita Ma'am heard him. "She's NOT interested in you... she doesn't even know you! Which isn't that difficult actually, knowing how shallow you are... oh and did I forget to mention that she's RAJVEER SIR'S SISTER?!" he said the last part a bit too loudly.

Lolita Ma'am turned around and placed her hands on her hips. "Come again, Cadet?" she asked in a dangerous tone. "Dreaming about a fellow Cadet?"

His friends, including Huda, laughed silently. "Ma'am, all he can do is dream... let him, na! He would never have the guts to do anything anyway..." Huda commented with a smirk. Yudi glared at him, and looked at their teacher in shock as even she hid her smile.

"I'll show you that Koel can be way more interested in me than YOU!" he whispered fiercely. Pooja, Ali, Aalekh and Naina looked at the two let them be. They would never grow up. Huda blew his comment away and relaxed in his seat, whistling.

Precap - "The jury has decided to-"

"Koel... are you OK?" Yudi asks, concerned, to Koel.
