Part 8

Dutta naku ki khoobsurat chehre se fully lattooo.. yeh dutta hi haina? doubt hota hai lol. Hmm babi ki darr sahi nikla. Kaunsa ustad apni chele ko ghar drop karega. Waise naku bhi kuch kum nahi, dono taraf aag barabar lagi hai. But our ever perceptive baji can sniff lou in the air, ok ok atleast a strong attraction between the two.

But i dont understand baji,s preoccupation with bhao,s lovelife when he can easily patao any damsel with his dimpled smile. He is happy seeing his bhao,s life bloom. Such a selfless character who has forgotten that he has a life of his own.

But It was a delightful conversation between the two buddies, baji hit all the right notes n then stopped just short at the right moment allowing his friend to take his own decision, a true soulmate.

The concern for naku when dutta drops her home, then seeing a worried babi makes him feel for her, him noticing her mood swings at the studio n guessing it right.. if all this isnt luv what else is i wonder. I thought He will take his own sweet time to realize his feelings, you never know with this man. Also the time was barely ripe for a full fledged confession.

For naku there seems a burden of an unpleasant past or a stumbling block which hangs like a sword. But naku wishes to move on, way to go lady.

It was amusing to watch dutta,s grudging self control, checks n balances.. he is testing the waters n just when he thinks there is little or no reciprocity of feelings he restrains himself, a tussle of pull n push. But its his own inability to freely express as he himself realises which is the biggest stumbling block. Banda buri tarah se phasega nahi bolega toh.

Dutta,s creation was a joy to read, hammie you just brought the whole exercise of his creation to life with your words, absolutely brilliant!

Hammie the USP of your writing stleast for me is there is a poetic feel to the flow of words, it has an old world charm.,. i luvd the line, "silence again descends almost as a comforting canopy on the two" there,s so much beauty n depth in the sentence cant explain. And then the 'bechaini rooh' aptly described for dutta by baji, top notch.

Part 9

Hammie honestly its been a while reading such a perfect episode, it had so much goin for it. The anticipation, restlesness, suspense, tease, passion, drama. lagta hai you have regained the golden touch(PR times) why is it that whenever i take a break from the forum you give such scintillating updates??

Seema appears only to dampen dutta,s soaring spirits, i am not feeling for him, but i feel for this lady.. you are so mean i mean dutta. she has in a way promoted prodded him to take up this project n hence indirectly responsible for naku,s entry in dutta,s life, yet she is loathed. To add to her woes he is raining praises on naku. Chalo atleast he,s opening his heart out inadvertantly, naku waga hoti toh phooljati..

God he,s so restless not seeing naku, arey bhai thoda wakt toh lagega usko ghar se nikalne mein, you luv struck puppy? bechaini rooh badan sabkuch hai yeh. But i suspect a pining heart is prone to such extreme emotions.

Then we have babi,s maternal pleas before bappa, hahahaaa.. can this get more hilarious, sabko apni padi hai, naku bhi restless n anxious to get upclose with him, hain? someone following her??? but im luving this suspense... kidnapping ka mamla toh nahi hai? hmm rubbing hands with anticipation.

And we have baji the busybody diverting all attention from bhao n his muse with his slapstick comedy n now he has an inkling of the lurking danger as well. Lekin as always he hasnt followed up with any action, gadhe ka chela gadha hi rahega. But Poor baji is busy in things other than those need his attention. nautanki, he hast to ward off unwanted attention towards dutta when he,s busy dana dalna kabootarni ko lol

Wah kya proposal pheka dutta ne, that is what it sounded to me except that it was all in riddles, head desk! "you want to pair up with me for a permanent structured work" Yaar yeh banda kya socha hai? naku jaisi ladki khud bolegi?? woh bhi itni jaldi? kaun samjhayega iss gadhe ko, jab ladki naa bolti toh haan haan hota hai lol. But NO, he couldnt handle the tension n had to dampen it by saying he is unavailable here onwards atleast on the campus, Great job DP, koi tumse seekhe ladki patana, shaking my head argh!

For a split sec i thought he was back on track, pushed the right buttons, well almost but but naku is the spoiler, she refuses to open up. Iske gale mein kya atka hai, machli ki haddi??? dat teri! Angry oaf, mute mousie, adjectives cutee hai hammie... PURFECT,

Aaaww it was a disaster in the end, dutta so wanted to hear something beyond the art, but naku cockblocked him totally.

Will wait for the next to check what the suspense really about, the looming danger behind naku.

But the last part of the update was beautifully written hammie, i was totally frustrated with the behaviour of the two, wanted to shake the two hard.

Part 10

Naku escapes unhurt but who are they, her assaulters? Hain??? INLAWSSS?? yeh kaha se tapak pade? so this is naku,s past, psst !

So Babi guilty for the mess she finds her daughter, no wonder but naku is more worried of the imminent messy situation. Their escape to safety Lo karlo baat! sher ke den mein seeda, whereelse.

AS expectedly without much ado welcoming naku n her family.

Huh, aathe hi bappa blackmail shuru, maa nahi toh beti, they take turns. Why is naku in White sari ?? dont tell me she is widowed ? Gosh! no wonder the father in law n the bro in law were looking out for naku n not the husband, huh so called shadi n so called hubby all buried beneath the ground. Any more skeletons to tumble ? how naku was widowed is yet to be revealed.

Hmm dutta,s new home assignment, what better way for the cat n mouse game.

"Lion,s den" coutesy baji all set to welcome its master, Hmm life without baji.. how dull it would have turned out for us all, luv his lines to the core n dutta thinks baji is useless. lagta hai dutta ke liye permanent ashiana banadiya baji for all present n future purposes. AS can forget dutta now. Perfect setting indeed.

Aur yaha gadha Krishna aur Gopi ke mural banayega, ladki patane ke liye acha start hai yeh, Lord krishna,s story should be some inspiration. Ab toh dutta ki raasleela pukka shuru lol.. ya shiv ka tandav hoga pehle rofl.

So dutta caught the sight of his real naku, i mean yet to be revealed naku on the terrace.

Part 11

Bhao for your eyes only bhao, such a sweet statement to make. tu drunk nahi bhao bas peeya hua hai, yeh toh tun hai pyar mein.

Bappa alone knows what his reaction would be when the truth is revealed, as naku hadnt come clean earlier. Can feel a storm brewing. I wonder why naku has this penchant to be caught wrong footed.

Jab bhi baji feels indebted to bhao, it puts me in a fix ki whether his luv for bhao stems from this generosity ? cause if its true then there will forever remain a barrier between the two n i noticed the same dilemma in LTL too. How i wish there was a genuine bonding on equal footing without the burden of indebtedness.

The naku baji meeting on the terrace was pretty dramatic n emotional. Naku,s guilt, baji,s fears for bhao are portrayed beautifully even thou i differ with baji,s protective instincts. He was right in questioning naku,s silence in her ealier encounters with dutta. im still perplexed as to what stopped her from revealing her past?

Damn Bajii ! he doesnt realise the danger of further hiding n stopping a guilt ridden naku. Why does he feel dutta has to be protected, woh doodh peeta bacha hai kya, duniya nahi dekhi kya usne? I see no good coming out of this, sense of deja vu. Her widowed status wouldnt have altered the equation much for dutta except he would have treaded more carefully. But for a scarred naku with her confidence at its lowest it must have been tuff to completely bare open her past secrets with dutta, i never know. To me nothing is more liberating n serene than truth.

And how long can she evade sighting by dutta is the immediate question, the aftereffects of such a revelation will certainly be devastating.

WOAW! hammie take a bow. The lengths you go to bring authenticity into your story telling is mindblowing, keeping in mind this is just a SS. The detailed info of the mural created by dutta has to be the highlight of this episode, truly epic in its detailing. My brief knowledge of hindu Gods n Godesess is refreshed. The coincidence if i can call it is just like dutta who was enlightened by his mother i owe it to my grandmother who had a habit of putting me to sleep with her mythological stories, reminds me of her contribution in my upbringing... Dutta,s dedication to his maa was so so divine n pure. Have to luv this man for this one gesture. Hammie Im doin the same to you as baji does seeing his work, i know you are not a pda person, phirbhi.

Gawd AS,s easiest route to getting her way is shedding tears, i mean how convenient to avoid inconvenient queries? Dutta is surrounded by insecure weak characters.

Hmm yeh ladki has an OCD for sure, to play with fire... i mean why cant she just stay out of bounds of dutta, she is inviting trouble big big trouble. Dutta after failing to convince AS will surely question her, tab kya hoga, im hyperventilating n chanting jagadamba ..

Waise again i repeat, whenever im away you come up with scintillating updates.. kuch toh lotcha hai

Part12

Baji instead of chiding naku for her recklesness should be pushing her to come clean. But his quandry to reveal or not to reveal will only postpone the inevitable. But dutta,s sharp gaze doesnt miss baji,s overzealous act of protecting the white lark.

Looks like baji is more or less resigned, hoping things to take its own course. Baji should rest his case n let naku decide for herself which she is more than capable of, waise bhi the white shadow is skating on thin ice.

Dutta toh chodega nahi bina jaane, his inquisitiveness is tipping... Its human nature to seek the unseekable like dutta,s obsession right now. But its her strange behaviour thats irking dutta n building his interest to know more. Naku too not totally in control over her feelings which is spicing things for us readers.

Hohohooo kaley khushi karditta with his appearance, dutta at his wittiest best. The chai breaks will soon break the glass barrier between the two.

Kuch zyada hi adventurous hogaya hai dutta widow ke peeche, bappa ke samne bhi nahi chodega, amusing hide n seek game here... hits n misses too.

Baji bolta hai he has never set eyes on any woman except naku, yaha toh banda ek bechari widow ke peeche pada hai, soo out of character hai yeh sher.

Baji prodding dutta to explore possibilities of finding the truth himself, in a way to use his instincts, not bad baji. White albatross ? Hahahaaa his imagination n adjectives have taken wings for sure.

Aah the splendid description of Lord Ram n Seetha paintings on the ceiling transformed me into another world, hmm a Ravivarma in action. Fabulous writing hammie, you push the envelope everytime enabling us readers to enlighten our knowledge in the process.

The red paint on naku does indeed give it a divine meaning, a divine intervention, i didnt find it flimsy dunno why. Why do i feel dutta will be more considerate with naku, maybe the dose of fine art is fogging my mind a bit.

Truly the last couple of episodes have been masterstrokes out of your hand hammie, one among your best writings in all these years i have known you. Hats off to you.

Huh! i need a break now, oye im no shy naku showing my chehra slowly but a totally confused screwed individual, moody cow. But hammie i remember my teachers would say something similar(shy) pulling me in their arms n teasing me on my blushing face, to my utter dismay.

So the cat and mouse game continues! Dutta is rather fascinated by the mystery lady in white...but is unable to determine just who it is. Well, an artist needs his muse...and after Naku ...this lady in white (who unknown to him is one and the same) is his newest interest...
now is this a platonic bond? dutta ko khud nehi pata..

I have to add here Baaji's words of wisdom or words of doom really! Even in the show when they hid her true color from him...it was all only prolonging the inevitable and making the situation much worse! But anyway...not much logic plays into decisions when only concern is your best friend's feelings...I'm glad to see Baaji having second thoughts about this whole thing!
baji is loyal and dutta always in the show believed in that.. but yaar people make mistakes, baji is without malice.. he too is dutta's breast plate of protection.. sher ka dil😛..

Now, Dutta in a state of curiosity and plain irritation over her behavior when he called out to her. No one defies DP! And he wasn't about to let her get away with it...but it sounds to me as though his concern has more to do with her possibly fearing him. But why should she? He is such a good boy!

Now, I personally think they need to tell Dutta the whole truth!

I think Naku's longing is giving her a strength and courage even she didn't know she had. Boldly climbing up behind him to help knowing she wasn't ready to reveal herself yet unable to stay away.

Oh I loved the scene where he is painting Shri Ram and Sita! And how it reflected his faith, life, and reminded him of Naku. And icing on top of it all...the way the red paint falls over the top of her head...very symbolic!

And what bang bang ending with him seeing the face behind the mask so to speak! Can't wait to see how this unfolds!
