Episode ~73

Kala's Room
Ravi and Supriya enter Kala's room. She looks across to them keenly, and bids with urgency, close the door. Ravi obeys and Supriya looks mighty uncomfortable, this could mean anything , Kala might even shoot them dead..
They both look at each other cautiously and then proceed to Kala, who asks , tell me then what should I do with the pair of you? vahini you do one thing go to Bhau and tell him the truth, that you love this body guard and want to marry, would this punishment be befitting for you two?, Kala asks them. Ravi replies, Tai, it would be better if you shoot us.. Kala gives him daggered looks , really ?have you got another option? what should really happen is that I should use your hides to make myself a pair of shoes! and then tell the truth to Bhau , but I don't know why when I look at this pathetic girl I feel pity for her, and Kala feels the side of Supriya's face...and confirms, ok I have decided to help you both. Both Ravi and a very tearful Supriya cannot show enough of their gratitude at this turn in Kala's attitude toward them.
Kala, quite plainly gives a plausible reason for helping them, I don't want bloodshed on the auspicious occasion of the turmeric ceremonies and other pre-nuptial wedding arrangements, plus I don't want my brother to marry a woman who has her love interest elsewhere. She warns them, remember one thing my name should not be mentioned in this. Ravi assured her, Tai we'd rather die than let your name be dragged in all this. She is satisfied, seems you are smart. Kala knows full well that they are desperate to run away and for that they will refrain from implicating her connection in all this plan.. her plan.
Kala then articulates the plan to them, now listen to what has to be done.She explains step by step.. the sound goes mute. Supriya's face says it all, surprise, unwillingness, horror, anxiety. Ravi too perplexed looks to Supriya as he hears Kala 's suggestions . Supriya moans , Tai ! Ravi ! I don't want to stay alone. Kala turns to face her and warns her, if you don't stay alone , then you won't leave this place alive! and she reasons and explains more to the pair of them. Supriya then has to wipe her tears , and Ravi too has to accept what is asked of him.
After explaining the task to them, Kala crosses her leg as she sits at the corner end of her settee. Supriya moves forward to touch her feet and seek blessings , Kala moves her toe with a feigned comment , after cheating on my Bhau , you expect me to shower you with my blessings?. Ravi sucks up to Kala , Tai we'll be eternally grateful to you ..we'll not forget this favour , and Kala snubs him , and so you should be! And you shouldn't forget this favour, it's the first time I am lying to my family for the sake of you two!.. she looks at their sorry faces and dismisses them rudely , now why are you still standing here, leave!
They leave shamefaced and Kala's eyes follow them to the door.. and she pulls out the folded note from under a cushion beside her, she holds it to the side of her shoulder and says..a person who does not understand love, or hate, how will that person understand Kalavati? god bless whoever sent this letter to me..
The deadly trio
The three sisters, clink three champagne flutes together and go cheers! After a sip Roops goes , Tai so cute isn't it ?action, suspense and my favourite romance! I am sooo excited Tai ! Leela glass in hand sneers ,excited Roops ? why don't you elope with someone? look around! there are multiple love stories happening in this house, so one more won't make a difference!
Kala with noir eye shadow around her eyelids to denote her witch like persona , sneers, love! ..why do people fall in love? Roops answers, Tai shall I ask Supriya ! she'll definitely know! orrr shall I ask Nakusha? Leela interrupts, Roops! Tai , you too only tell us bits and pieces of a story..tell us the complete story, how did you come to know about all this? Kala relaxes on the settee , with her drink and says, until the right time comes, this is all you need to know. But Leela challenges her , really? ok that's fine , but who could have sent that letter? could it be Ravindra ?. Kala replies with a sneer , don't tax your mind so much, you might burst a blood vessel! why would Ravindra come forward and show me his plan? Roops agrees, exactly why would Ravindra tell us his plan? but then Tai who has sent the letter? .. Kala replies slightly irritated, just said don't think so much , do I have to tell you separately... for the present let me do the thinking alone .. oh yes when you leave , close the door behind you.. She snubs Roops . and then icily waits for Leela to leave her in peace to relish over her victory..
Guestroom
Ravi enters his room and follows Kala's instructions and packs his luggage.
Then heads toward Supriya 's room where she waits for him. As par usual he enters her room and bolts it..ohhh the things that happen behind closed doors.. Dutta never bolts his door from the inside.. his life is an open book where the text changes according to his moods.. gadha unique hai..
They stand before each other like two passengers saying goodbye, it hits her and she says ,Ravi you are leaving.. most of his sessions with her have been about reiterating things to her, calming her down.. making her see reason.. brainless bimbo!
He replies, you know I can't stay here any longer.She snivels ,Ravi how can I stay here without you in this goon's house.. first I was scared of Dutta, now, it's his sister as well, she knows everything... who can I trust? He grabs her arms and says Supriya try to understand! if we leave together, that Dutta! will pull us out of hell! he won't spare us now... that's why he should think that we both are not related to each other! understand? it's just a matter of time and then we will be together for the rest of our lives and he reaches out and gives her a hug almost. Tai! says Naku , her faint figure standing between the open doors can be seen. With a startle Ravi moves back his hands and joins them in a goodbye sign , Supriya ji it was a pleasure to serve you, I hope I haven't let you down as your body guard , he says ..and Supriya tries to fight back her tears.Naku watches them from the door, as Ravi finally says, congratulations for your forthcoming wedding ..may all your dreams come true... I take your leave.. he says to her, picks his luggage and exits her room.
As he leaves Naku comes in and he turns back and with his hand signals I am leaving but I be around. Naku stands before Supriya , holding a glass of squash for Supriya, and asks, what's happened why is he leaving?. Supriya says, his job has finished here, therefore he has to go back... Naku accepts the answer but can see tears in Supriya 's eyes..
Dutta 's den
Dutta wearing a white kurta pyjama stands at his balcony, he looks down at the decorated house. He hits his palm on the other in a temper, how did this happen Baji ? how much money has he embezzled.? Baji comes to his side and says it's five lakhs! Bhau we beat him to a pulp !he begged for forgiveness, said his mother is in hospital and that he lost all the money at gambling...he said that was the reason for the embezzlement. We don't know if what he says is the truth says Baji . Dutta stands with his hands on his waist and then turns to look at Baji , then who would know?
Ravi comes up the stairs that lead to Dutta's balcony .
Dutta still at the overhead balcony says to Baji , if his mother is really in the hospital than we need to take care of her expenses ..and if he is lying we will make sure Damle ends up in hospital.. Ravi now stands directly behind Dutta with his suitcase. Dutta growls, I do not forgive people who cheat!.. Ravi stands behind Dutta almost fearlessly.. even after hearing Dutta 's words. He puts his suitcase down and the sound makes Dutta turn around to face Ravi. what is it? he asks as he eyes the suitcase... are you going somewhere ? Ravi fumbles, Bhau , I have to go .. Dutta says calmly , I said you work is finished now , so you decide to leave, will you not stay for the wedding and allow us to be the host.. Ravi says, Bhau your invitation is an honour for me, but I have to go as my mother's unwell.. Baji and Dutta look at him with sympathy.. and Dutta says, you're doing the right Aye comes first then rest of the family..
Dutta refers to standing up for one's family, to Ravi like Kala had done earlier where she says she is helping them for the sake of their family..
Ravi throws in , if my mother gets any better ,then I will be back in a couple of days. Dutta nods and says do come back.. Baji , and Baji goes humm, goes in and out of Dutta's wardrobe gets a bundle of notes .. Dutta says, if you need assistance in the treatment of your mother do let me know... and give my regards to your Aye says Dutta gently . Ravi replies, ji Bhau, with great respect. Baji returns and hands the money over to Ravi .. Ravi shakes his head, no Bhau .. Dutta nods, take it, it's for the work you have done here. Eventually he takes the money , and says thank you Bhau , it's been an honour to work for you. Dutta looks at Baji .. and Ravi goes down the stairs, as he pockets the money.
Dutta gracefully saunters into his room and Baji follows him .. Aye Sahib comes up the stairs to her son's room. Dutta with his back to the door , mutters vexed, Baji take care of Damle's matter immediately! .. and Baji replies yes Bhau. Baji pulls out his phone and yells, Damle! enough of your nonsense!. Aye Sahib enters the room. and Baji quickly changes the subject, you'll coming to the wedding with your family? Aye Sahib angrily snatches his phone. Dutta who was frowning changes his face to a shocked look...she says Dutta! I sent you here to rest ,and what are you doing?.. Dutta closes his folder he is checking and casually says, Aye we were just talking. Aye retorts, wipe off that anger off your face... your voice is giving away the nature of your discussion. She turns to Baji and slaps his arm, Baji! you! why did you have to discuss work with him can't you manage on your own?. Baji looks gobsmacked. Dutta turns from his wardrobe and listens to his mother who has a go at Baji , it's his wedding and there is no charm on his face! Baji defends himself, that 's exactly what I am saying, we were talking about some old matter! Bhau knows that , ask him, Bhau tell her , it's an old matter! pleads Baji , and Dutta looks amused at Baji and his mother from far. Baji shouts tell her! and Aye pinches his cheek and says I am your Aye don't try to fool me! and she pokes on the side of his head... now until he is married, you will not discuss work with him!got that ! , and Baji says yes Aye , as Dutta smiles cheekily. But then his mother comes up to Dutta.. the first wedding ritual will begin in some time, get some rest.. then come down stairs.. and like an obedient child he nods his head once. Aye smiles and turns her head from him and sees Baji still standing where she left him.. she goes, angrily.. you! are still here? Baji says I was.. just listening to stuff about Bhau's haldi . Aye yells leave! and Baji smiles and shouts I am leaving !. and Aye looks up at Dutta and says with a smile, this Baji rao of your is hopeless! , and she pats Dutta's stubble cheek and says, rest now.. and leaves a shyly smiling Dutta .. episode ends, Hamlet53 5.12.13.

Supriya and Ravi thank their lucky stars for not only getting a pardon from Kala Tai but also her assistance in their elopement.
It's very odd that the smart ass jackal Ravi did not once suspect's Kala's real motive in helping them.
Kala is brilliant, she judges a person well and accordingly can dissuade them of course, with a brush of a hand. all around Kala are made to look like headless chicken and Dutta tops that list.
Kala 's claim to supremacy that she is the think tank is not without evidence , she operates smoothly for Kala is mainly purpose driven.. to damn Dutta.
Dutta is a real gentleman with Ravi .. does Ravi mock the man's short sightedness or admire the man's sophisticated aura topped up by a heart of gold?
