chapter 1
~very moving written account of Naku's catharsis regarding her not so distant past with Dutta, so it was based on respect and trust. hummh, does raise questions, did he actually trust her with his life, but it seemed not enough to repay her by love and married stability.
~ Naku , although understandably, contemplated thoughts of walking away ,it was a bit disappointing coming from the stoic lady. There has to be marriage in sickness and in health.Sickness for me here largely meant his mental set backs of previous depressive symptoms , along with his current head injury,which now triggered off any time in his life by the minutest to more magnified issues. Dutta's issue was commencing life all over with a person whom he had never his set eyes upon, a total stranger,whom every one allowed to pose as his wife! On the face of affairs,Naku had lived a lie, and that Dutta had been taken for a ride. I think he felt not hard done by her so called beauty, but the betrayal of his trust in her.
~Daya great description of wife actions in assessing his needs and offering her services and Dutta her husband rejecting them as best as he could.
~Baji's mention was well worded and certainly credible ,may be she should have used his assistance instead of falling back on her inner strength,s she hd hd a task in hand that she needed to administer,meds/food. Did make me wonder if she realized the message he was really sending out to her.
~ great scene when Baji empowered Naku, brilliantly penned.
Overall,very well written chapter Daya, honing on Naku's sentiments, a distraught wife in a serious predicament.A wife who considered all options to make her life the way it was. However,to me the crucial requirement in her situation had to be perseverance... the results of which were already seen slowly but surely in this chapter.

hi daya , nice ud. both of them ar suffering the impact of his accident still. no matter how long it takes for him to get well nakku won't leave him, she will stay and help him get better . seeing him in pain and thinking they are caused by her presence is the only reason she want's to stay out of his way. baji is too good, but i would like to see dutta realising it for himself what nakku is to him,rather than anyone giving him their piece of mind... AS gets the reward for best mother in law. well lets see what difference baji's gayan is going to make in ur next ud. thank daya looking frward to next chapter, i hope there are quite a few to come so we get more detailed version of him being khadoos and her love bringing him down on his knees again!
