Part 15

Recap-Ranbir helps Kanya with getting her back in good shape. KT and Eklavya are back to being the couple they never thought they'd be.

2 Days Later

KT is back from Hospital and recovering well. She was glad to see the back of that place. She hated hospitals they always seemed so morbid and depressing. God knew how many times she'd come in these places as the Virani's had a connection with the place as they always seemed to end up there. She never expected herself to end up there for severe injuries but at least Eklavya was safe. Now all she wanted to do was spend every waking moment she had with Eklavya. He was her everything but their honeymoon was coming to an end and wanted to do something special for him. They hadn't been close and was nervous as she knew Eklavya wouldn't make a move he was far too careful with his approach to her and the reason she knew that too well.

Ranbir was around to help Eklavya out and in return Eklavya wanted to make sure his friend wasn't stalling in neutral and that he moved up a few gears in his pursuit of Kanya. Eklavya was amazed at how much Kanya had let Ranbir in with her wellbeing but needed to find out if the girl felt anything towards Ranbir and that it wasn't one sided. He needed someone a little crazy and Kanya summed crazy to a T. KT was in on this as she was very fond of Ranbir. Kanya might be KT's friend but she shared a different bond with Ranbir. He was more her brother-in –law than anyone of the brother's in Shantiniketan. She wanted to see both of her friends happy. KT would make sure their celebratory dinner for her and Kanya were being held in a restaurant where things would be a little more of an intimate affair.

E-Here KT drink some Hot chocolate it will do U good.

KT-R U going to keep on feeding me till i go huge. I've eaten too much and now drinking hot chocolate.

E-The sooner U get better the sooner we can go home where U will have people taking care of U. I think i'm doing a rubbish job. U keep complaining.

KT-Its only because i'd rather be doing things for U not the other way round. U put me to shame with all your fetching back and forth over me. I am really lucky Eklavya that i have a husband like U who takes good care of me. This was supposed to be our honeymoon not U looking after me.

E-KT U R worth it. I like looking after U. It makes me feel i'm doing something right after all the wrong i've done.

KT-What time R we meeting Ranbir and Kanya?

E-Another hour. I wonder how thoses 2 R really coping? I haven't heard them argue or complain for a while.

KT-Must be good news then. I hope those 2 work it out. They're so right for each other even though they R complete opposites. Ranbir is so funny he doesn't even know it.

Ranbir and Kanya in their room feeling no discomfort towards the other. They were used to each other's company which was quite freaky. They had never felt like that before. Kanya was aware of all of Ranbir's bad habits which was he was very organized like as in military. She loved all his quirky qualities about him and didn't find him annoying one bit. She'd even seen all the sweet things Ranbir did for her including burning his hands with boiling hot water for Kanya to put in her hot water bottle. Kanya applied a cream to the palm of his hands which still had blisters bless him. Ranbir had noticed Kanya's snoring which was horrendous as he hated that about the women he'd bedded before but with Kanya it was quite bearable. Kanya trusted Ranbir that he could sense but the only thing they bickered about now was him overdoing things for Kanya. He didn't quite know how much was too much. Kanya's room was filled with magazines, stuffed toys, chocolates, music player, fruit he brought in fresh flowers everyday.

Today they were spending their last night in GOA and Aditya bhaiya was last senn making a getaway to the nearest filming place as he was trying to make a movie with some director as an extra this made Ranbir laugh. His brother even now had dreams of making it in bollywood. Ranbir had once tried to bribe a producer into making a mive with his brother which ended badly that Ranbir would never make that mistake again. Ranbir was actually quite nervous. He didn't want Kanya to think he was being pushy. He knew when Kanya was pushed into a corner she was unbearable as she counter attacks and goes into her own safe haven.

K-Please don't tell me U got me something else to eat. Your just as bad as Eklavya. U both R like 2 peas in a pod.

R-Well nobody can say Ranbir Nanda is stingy and doesn't know how to take care of people.

K-Is that what i am Ranbir a person?

R-What kind of a stupid question is that? Hurry we have to meet up with KT and Eklavya at the Masala Goa Inn restaurant. We can argue in the car.

K-U think i'm stupid. U R the worlds biggest duffer i know. People R people U don't necessarily know all of them but i'm on about me here.

R-Kanya i won't get into this. There is only so much a guy can take but U girl R unbreakable. Always looking for a comeback seeking wins. I'm not one to back down either but U stated U don't want anything to do with me i accept that. Besides I'm too good for U. Eklavya is right about one thing. Sometimes no matter how much we try to make things happen they never turn out the way U want them. Thats life. Then again KT says life has its mysteries and if U want things bad enough it will come to U if its meant to be. I guess we aren't meant to be. I guess my love will have to remain unrequinted. Lets not dwell on it Kanya. Just enjoy the next few hours we have. [Ranbir is using reverse psychology as he'd got some advice from Aditya bhaiya. Only God knew why he was taking advice from him]

Kanya was left even more confused he wasn't going to woo her. She felt disappointed by him. Guys they were a mystery in themselves. She doubted they knew anything about their own gender. They drove in silence and met Eklavya and KT at the restaurant. KT looked gorgeous dressed all in a black Saree. Eklavya walked hand in hand in hand with KT that made Kanya feel a sense of jealousy. Ranbir had given up on Kanya maybe he thought she wasn't worth fighting for. Ranbir so wished he and Kanya could be like that but he'd tried the first 2 days trying to make her see he had a heart and opened his heart out to her on 2 occassions and both times she'd mercilessly stomped on his heart. Actually that was also the first time he felt what rejection was like. Maybe he didn't deserve love in his life after hurting far too many women. It must be Karma getting back at him for all the wrong he did.

R-Hi guys! Bhabhi U R looking almost too good. Wish Eklavya didn't get to U first.

KT-What so that I'd be one of your other women?

R-U can never be that. U R rarity that only guys dream of but can never get.

E-Ranbir i suggest U get your eyes back in your sockets and zip that mouth of yours. She's my wife and only i can compliment her like that. U R stealing all my lines here. Take care of your own date.

R-Eklavya it will keep U on your toes to come up with a unique one liners one that nobody has used. As for Kanya she doesn't like me complimenting her. Actually anything i say is fake to her.

K-Thats not true!

R-Of course it is otherwise U wouldn't roll your eyes everytime i speak.

K-U R so corny with everything U say.

KT-Guys please no more argueing. We R here to enjoy our meal together. Is our last night. Make the most of it.

E-I thought U guys were getting on.

K-So did I?

They sit in a corner with 2 tables candle lit a little bit of a waste as Ranbir and Kanya weren't speaking to the other. Eklavya and KT were enjoying their night and even went for a slow dance on the floor. They were so in love with each other that they'd forgotten there was anyone else here apart from the other. KT had felt different holding Eklavya in her arms. She had never experienced it with anyone before nor had she done so with Eklavya as for one their feelings were mutual.

KT-I wish time stood still with U and I here like this always. So much time we wasted.

E-We're here now is what counts. U look like a siren in this and that perfume its new isn't it? Good enough to eat.

KT-Glad U like it. Wish those 2 would get their acts together and quit messing the other.

E-Those 2 R a law on to themselves. I get headaches everytime i think of them.

KT-We have to do something.

E-I have the best solution but U won't agree with it. So i won't say for now.

KT-Tell me!

E-If U trust me don't ask me.

KT-Fine.

E-U go chat to them i will be quick.

Eklavya disappears for 15 minutes to make the call. He phones Malika. Ranbir's Mom. A firce woman that Ranbir never had the guts to say no to even if he tried.

M-Hello!

E-Auntie main Eklavya Goa se baath kar raha hoon. Mujhe apse kuch zaroori baath karna hain Ranbir ke ba re main!

M-Tum aur Ranbir tik tho ho? kya kiya usne?

E-Auntie woh ek ladki Kanya jo kea chi ladki hain usse apne kamre main rakhi hain. Uski izzat ki sawal hain. Ap Ranbir ko tho jante ho woh ladkiyon se kaise treat kartha hain. Kanya tho ab musibat main padgayi na. Aggar ye baat media ke samne agayi uski tho...... She's not like his other women.

M-Don't worry beta i will sort Ranbir out for good.

E-Aunty ap Ranbir ko kuch mat kehna mere ba re main. Dost hu its a form of betrayal and call him in the morning.

M-I won't say anything. I will surprise Ranbir myself that i can promise.

Eklavya gets Kanya's home number and dials. Pammi Kanya's Mom answers.

E-Auntie Namaste main Eklavya.

P-Ha puttar sab kushal mangal haina? Kanya kaisi hain?

E-Auntie woh sab tikh hain filhaal main apko bari dilse yeh kehne keliye phone kiya ke Kanya aur woh business tycoon dono ke beech samband ain aur aggar yeh sabke samne agaya tho phi rake tho bohut bari musibar main pad sakhte ho. Pooja ki shaadi main musibat....[Kanya and Ranbir have a fling with each other if the media gets wind of this then your family's reputation would be in tatters]

P-Yeh tu kya baktha hain?[Whats up?]

E-Sach auntie main chhot nahin bhol raha. Woh dono ek hi kamre main KT mere biwi apko sab keh sakti hain. Main kyun chhot bolunga. Apko Kanya ke haath peele karna parega woh bhi Ranbir ke saath. Ranbir ke Ma bhi Ranbir se dukhi hain. Woh dono ek doosre se pyar karte hain.[Its the truth. Ranbir and Kanya R together in the same room. They love each other. Malika is coming to deal with Ranbir U need to get them married]

P-Tikh hain puttar Kanya ko aane de uski khabar lethi hoon.[Ok i won't say anything]

E-Ap mere ba re main kuch mat kehna warna humara dosti katam. Main uski balai chata hoon. [Don't tell Kanya about me i want whats best for her]

Job done now the real fun begins. KT meanwhile has a little conversation with Kanya after learning Ranbir's stupid plan. Guys sometimes she's swear they acted like 5 year olds.

KT-I see U 2 R fighting again. Is it because Ranbir's given up?

K-Maybe. I hate him so much.

KT-U don't mean that?

K-No but he feels like i'm too much hard work. Am i really that bad? How can i love a guy like Ranbir so fast?

KT-Well i know he loves U. and U him. U guys R too stubborn. Kanya don't forget Ranbir has fallen in love once never before and to experience rejection for anyone is a bitter pill to swallow. Eklavya will vouch for that but i'm glad he persevered in his attempt otherwise we'd never get here.

K-What if he rejects me?

KT-U haven't tried or even confessed yet. Your problem Kanya is U play safe but give as good as U get.

Eklavya and Ranbir meet up. Getting some martinis straight up.

E-Please don't tell me U R trying your stupid games they never work?

R-How do U know?

E-U gave me a few stupid ideas thats how? Wish i could show U sense. Don't worry your game is set up just needs the delivery. Tomorrow. All your wishes will be coming thick and fast.

R-What did U do?

E-What U would do to me! Just wait and watch. Whats your view on marriage?

R-Not for me. Love isn't working so Marriage is a hell no!

E-Ok we can work on that.

KT comes to them and gives Ranbir the i don't approve look.

KT-U completely baffled Kanya we R not mind readers and nor do we all do reverse psychology well Einstein.

They all go back to their suite where Kanya and Ranbir R back to ignoring the other.

Eklavya and KT finally alone in their room and become one with the other. KT makes the first move kissing Eklavya and doing a strip tease for Eklvaya. KT finally had her man who made her feel like no other man. She'd gone to sleep in Eklavya's arms wrapped round her protectively with him too in a deep slumber.
