Part 13
Aditya bhaiya was still in the club. He makes another call to his brother. Hangovers he hated them. But he loved his liquer. He was locked in the club all night. Where was that mad brother of his. He was far awayfrom home so he couldn't call them. He didn't know the number to the club. He'd be stuck here all night again. Everything was locked up no sighn if people. Maybe he could break the doors or windows. Stupid double glazed window. Would break it wasn't made of glass. Maybe he should try his brother again. Its was on answerphone for ages.
Ranbir had arrived back to his suite. Took his shoes off and jumped into the shower. What a night he had. He couldn't believe the first time he confesses to his feelings that too to Kanya of all people and she didn't believe him. Good job he had Eklavya by his side. As for Aditya bhaiya where on earth was he? He couldn't find him anywhere. He had a quick was and put on his clothes grabbed a coffee that he'd ordered. He was just about to leave when he heard his mobile go off. He'd only just switched it off. It was Aditya bhaiya. He wasn't in the mood for anything major but he'd give a piece of his mind to his brother.
R-Hello! Bhaiya Where have U been?
A-Locked in the club where U left me. Come and get me out.
R-Not more drama bhaiya i can't take it.
A-What kind of brother R U. I'm telling U to get me out and U R in a mood. Please don't yell my head is throbbing.
R-Good U got what U deserve. U should drink more often U missed out on some heavy action. Did U know KT and Kanya R in hospital after they were attacked? Didn't think so. I'm on my way. Lucky for U i know the manager for that club.
A-Thanks and please don't mention this to anyone. They'd think i'm a laughing stock.
R-Trust me bhaiya they already do. U stay put i'm coming.
Ranbir didn't need this right now. He still had Kanya in his mind. He was relieved she was fine but those marks on her body were enough to make him kill those gangsters. He'd already got some of his friends to help him out with finding them. He made sure they were working specially on this case. Eklavya was also keen on finding the people that did this. He'd finally arrived at the club and got his brother he looked worse for wear. He definately needed a wash. He looked like somebody off the streets.
At the hospital Kanya was fast asleep catching up on it and the drugs were kicking in. KT was busy just lying there as Eklavya was toobusy fussing over her. Making sure her pillows were comfy and that if she needed anything to eat or music to listen to. It made KT laugh. He sure wasn't the same Eklavya she left at that club. He seemed almost like he was scared to leave her side.
KT-Will U STOP FUSSING. Will U stop fussing U R driving me mad.
E-Well do U want some chocolates then. I can go get some right away. Actually i'll send Ranbir he's on his way.
KT-I just want my husband to sit still in one place where i can see him clearly. U won't let me talk at least speak to me without fussing over me. I'm not a child. I do have my own voice. If i want something i'll ask. Please sit with me.
E-But then U might want something but won't ask KT. U never do its not U.
KT-If i promise then will U please just sit by my side.
Ranbir arrives at the hospital leaving Aditya baiya with his famous hangover cure raw egg yolks. He got some chocolates for the girls knowing full well what his sister's and cousins were like at home. It was normally their answer to lifting their spirits up. He decided he'd see Kanya first and saw she was sleeping. He put the chocolates on her table and have her a little kiss on her cheeks. He couldn't resist. He didn't care what she'd say probably pick a fight but was glad she didn't awake. He then went to KT's room. These two looked like they were newly in love. Well KT probably just realized how much she loved Eklavya but he was pleased his friend had finally got the woman to love him.
R-Hi Bhabie! Got U some gifts.
KT-Chocolates.
R-U spoiled it. How did U know?
KT-U and Eklavya both think alike except U R a little mischeivious than he is.
E-U 2 Chat 2 each other while i check up on Kanya. She's been sleeping the whole time.
R-I left her sleeping.
E-Either way relax bro and chat to KT for a bit.
KT-See already he's tired of being here for me. He claims he loves me yet he leaves me that too to go to his friend.
R-Its ok Bhabie let him go. Both of us will have a party of our own.
KT-That sounds like fun.
E-[Scowls]Don't U dare make a move on my wife Ranbir otherwise i won't help U get Kanya to even look at U. KT i will see to U later.
R-Blackmail. Bhabie look at what he's threatening to resort to.
KT-I'll just have to find another way to get your attention then. Don't worry Ranbir Kanya won't be charmed by Eklavya. Look at our track record. Its taken him this long to confess to me. He has no chance with Kanya. I will help U. U really do love her don't U?
E-U wanna bet KT?
KT-So this is how U want to play it. Go see Kanya but be warned U R treading on dangerous grounds.
E-Ranbir don't fret so much i was just joking. But U make sure KT is Ok though.
R-That i will.
Eklavya heads towards Kanya's room and checks. He see's Kanya is awake. He enters with a smile. One that made Kanya smile back. He could finally see Kanya's cheeck with colour. Kanya could now feel a lot of aches and pains all over now that the drugs wore off. She put a brave face on but Eklavya could see through her.
E-Do U want me to call the nure to administer more drugs for the pain?
K-No. I want to feel now. Been numb long enough. I look bad don't i?
E-Kanya U look beautiful. Those scars and marks R just war wounds. KT wants to see U. Ranbir was here but he's with KT now.
K-I know i felt him here. I mean he came over with the chocolates.
E-Kanya how long will U make the poor guy sweat it? He's good at heart. All he wants to do is be there for U.
K-We hate each other and out of the blue he tells me he loves me. What is he on?
E-Kanya guys R just weird. U saw what i went through to make KT mine and she paid for my sins. They say the sinner doesn't pay as bad as those he loves who R the ones to suffer. I had U to help me to tell KT my real emotions. Its not easy for us to lay it out there with our egos. Do U have any idea what Ranbir is going through? I doubt it.
K-U R just saying all this coz he's your friend.
E-U R my friend too. Both R equal to me. It took one sorry night to realize what my life without KT would be like. It was that fateful night KT told me she loves me not Laksh or anyone else. Ranbir isn't great with his feelings. U would have thought he'd be a pro with all them girls in his family but he needs someone Kanya. He wants to help let him. He isn't asking for anything in return. Do U love him or even like him?
K-I don't know. I don't hate the guy but i don't love him either. I could never love a guy that treats people like dirt.
E-But something about him is bothering U right in the back of your mind.
K-[Silence]
E-Don't be too hard on him that he reverts back to who he was. He's changed inside and now this Ranbir i see is a stranger. He bails people out. He prays and he donates which is a first. He's given the hospital 50 laks annonymously but i caught him with his check book out when he dropped it.
K-I'm scared Eklavya. Of him and of me.
E-Well i will open this milk tray and take the strawberry creme.
K-Thats my favourite. KT has a box of her own raid her box.
E-So U were awake then just pretending to sleep. U really R devious. I better go see if Ranbir is making a move on my wife. I threatened him that i'd make U my other woman and boy did i get the glares.
Kanya giggles. Eklavya leaves while Kanya attaks her chocolates. In KT's room Ranbir already opens the chocolates and gives it to KT.
KT-Don't worry so much Ranbir. Everything will be ok leave it to God and us. So far U have been anything but nice to Kanya. She's always kept herself distant after witnessing her parents death when she was 14 by her deranged older sister who killed herself in front of Kanya. She didn't even spare Kanya's Kittens nor her friends. She got adopted by The Godboles who she cares more than her own life. She needs stability and a lot of care.
R-She really is messed up. I mean thats a lot to happen to her.
KT-She gets these nightmares but the psychology sessions have taken care of that problem but now this. She thinks she's cursed. I know she's mentioned U were cursed to her but she means is herself. It will take time for her to open up. I heard she was going home right. Show her U care. I already know it she needs to know it.
R-Thanks for the insight.
KT-Thanks for putting Eklavya and I together.
Eklavya comes in and sees Ranbir and KT scoffing away on the chocolates.
E-I help clear your line and U and KT R in your own club.
R-I was leaving.
KT-All will be good U will see.
E-U taking Kanya home?
R-If she wants to come with me then yes.
Ranbir goes to Kanya's room and see's her eyes closed. He steps in and covers her. He was about to leave.
K-Thank U for the chocolates.
R-Its cool. U go back to sleep. U R coming home tomorrow. I hope U don't mind me taking U. Eklavya is busy with KT and i don't think its good she see's U like this U know why.
K-I know. Its Ok Ranbir and sorry for being a brat.
