Part 2

Its in the afternoon after college and Su arrives at home. He parks his bike and goes inside. He goes to the kitchen to get something to drink. His mom and dadima are also in the kitchen preparing the dinner. He goes and touches their feet.

Dadi: Arre Sumit tum aagaye. Kaisa tah tera college..?

Sumit: arre dadima, college was fine roz ki tarha.

Yashoda : jao beta tum fresh hojaawo aur phir dinner table pe aajana. Aur Simmie ko bhi bhool dena..

Sumit: Simmie aagayi college se? maine usse aaj college mein dekha hi nahi..

Dadi: aagayi hain apni kamre mein hain..doston se gupshup karrahi hain..aaj kal ki ladkiyan na..jab dekho tab wo kya kehte hain, wo mobile, uspe baaten karte rehte hain..patta nahi kab khatam hogi uski baaten..hamare zamaana mein ye sab nahi hota tah..

Dada comes also in the kitchen

Dada: oye phirse complaint karrahi hain meri Simmie ke bare mein..abhi to wo bachhi hain uske khelne khudne ki din hain..aur ji aaj kal ki zamaana to kuch aur hain, pehle zamana to gaya na

Dadi: malung hain mujhe..mmh

Yashoda and sumit laughs

Sumit smiles: theek hain main usse bhi bhulata hoon

In Simmie's room. She is sitting on her bed with her back to the door and talking to someone on her mobile.

Simmie on the phone: Achha to tum aaj mujhse milne kyon nahi aaya..? Jaante ho kitna miss kiya maine tumhe.?

On the other side of the phone Raj is talking to her..

Raj: arre jaanu u know na..aaj main nahi aapaya..aur maine sms to kiya tah na..aur main bhi tumhe bahut miss kiya

Simmie: haan sms to kiya tah, par phir bhi tumhe nahi dekha na..aur isiliye main roz bhaiya ke aane se pehle college aajati hoon sirf tumse milne ke liyee..aur tum nahi aaye…?

Raj: achha chalo im sorry baba, wo aaj Sumit ke aane se pehle main aane wala tah par phir wo Raksha aagayi thi na tumhare paas to main nahi aa paaya..

Simmie: ok ok baba..chalo maaf kiya..aur waise bhi main tumse gussa to nahi rehpaati, par promise me kal tum bhaiya ke aane se pehle mujhse milne aawoge..main tumhara intezaar karungi cantine mein..theek hain.

Raj: I promise jaan I will come to see u, aur ek baat aur, main bhi kaha tumhe dekhe bina rehpaata hoon, tumhe na dekhoon na tu dil mera bechain hojaata hain..tum to jaanti ho na how much I love u..mohabbat se zyada mohabbat hain tumse meri jaan..

Simmie blushes on her phone and smiles shyly

Simmie: main bhi tumse bahut pyaar karti ho, bas gharwalo ko bata denge jab college khatam hojaaye ga..achha ab main rakhti hoon isse pehle koi aajaye..

Raj: theek hain, I love u and sweet dreams aur haan sapna dekhna to sirf mera..

Simmie: I love u too, aur sapno mein to tum hi tum ho..achha baba ab rakho…

Raj: nahi pehle tum..

Simmie: nahi pehle tum..

While Simmie and Raj's pehle tum pehle tum silsila is going on Sumit arrives at Simmie's room, because the door is open he doesn't knock and sees Simmie talkin on her phone so he stands behind her waiting till she is done talking..

Simmie laughing still on the phone: Pehle tum baba…

And while talking she stands up from her bed and slowly turns and almost says Raj's name but sees Sumit and is shocked

Simmie: Raaaaksha, R..r.raksha

Raj confused on the phone: Raksha..?

Simmie: Raksha main main tumse kal baat karti hoon..wo wo bhaiya mujhe bhulane aaya hain to main rakhti hoon and she quickly cuts the phone.

Raj smiles on the other side and kisses his phone..

Simmie: b..b…bhaiya..wo wo wo r..r..raksha …raskha se baat karrahi thi..

Sumit smiles: Arre baba to tum itni darr kyon gaye ho..

Simmie quickly adjusts her hair from her face and her shocked look on her face..

Simmie: darr kaun main…hmmm haan bhaiya wo achanak tumhe dekha na to main darr gayi..

And both smiles

Sumit: tum bhi na…achha chalo neeche mama ne dinner ke liyee bhulaya hain..

Simmie: yes bhaiya

And Sumit turns and Simmie walking behind him looks up and whispers thank u god and smiles and follows him glad that he did not hear her conversation..

Everyone at the Raichand household is sittin at the dinner table and almost starting their dinner. Sumits dad and cousin Amit has also arrived. Amit did not finish his college and joined the family business. Sumit wanted to finish his college and after that he will also join his dad's business. Amit and Sumit have a very strong brother relationship. Both are good with each other and both love Simmie very much. Bua is also sitting on the table. Bua's husband passed away couple years ago and she came back to live with the Raichands after her only child and Sumits other cousin Mahek got married to a doctor. She lives in England. Bua is also very nice, her only problem is that she never keeps anything to herself, she never thinks before saying anything just says it even when her saying hurts someone. But everyone knows that deep in her heart bua loves them all very much. Bua is the one in the house who always keep talking about marriage of the kids. And today is also one of those days..

Bua: to Amit aur Sumit..tumdono shaadi ke bare mein bhi soch rahe honge na..? Arre bhai kab tak intezaar karaoge..ab to ek bahu aajaana chahiye..

Amit and Sumit look at each other with look like o noo bua phirse shuru hogayi..

Amit: Buaji shaadi karne ke liyee koi ladki bhi to chaahiye na..aur main koi aisi waisi ladki se shaadi thodi na karunga..

Sumit: haan Amit ur right, bua ji hum to aisi ladki se shaadi karenge jo hamare parrivaar ke layak ho na koi aisi ladki jo aaye aur hamare rishto mein daraar karde… aur main to abhi business join bhi nahi ki hain..aur waise bhi pehle Simmie ki shaadi hogi phir hamara…

Simmie: no way..bhaiya…pehle tumdono ki shaadi hogi..waise bhi jab meri shaadi hogi to meri bhabi ko hona chahiye na mujhe sadjaane ke liyee…aur shaadi ki shopping wo to sab main bhabi ke saath karungi na…warna kaun kare gha wo sab..isiliye pehle tumdono shaadi karoge…aur we Raichands humare yahaan to pehle sons ki shaadi hote hain..right dadaji..

Dada: absolutely right..meri gudiya ek dum sach baat kahi hain..to Sumit aur Amit aggar koi ladki hain tumdono ki nazar mein to batana..

Sumit: arre dadaji aap bhi aagaye buaji aur iss Simmie ki baaton mein..

Amit: haan Sumit dekho na ab lakta hain humdono ko mil kar hi kuch karna parega warna kahin buaji na kisi ladki ko lee aaye..hamare liyee..

All start laughing and teasing both Sumit and Amit..Finely dadi takes the side of the boys..

Dadi: oye chup karo tum sab, mujhe poora vishwaas hain apni do bete pe..dekhna kitna soni bahu ye dono laayenge..waise main yehi soch rahi thi ke waaki mein abhi tak tumdono ko koi ladki nahi mili…

Amit and Sumit both smiles and says no

Sumits dad Omi also says something

Omi: Arre maa tum sab kyon mere sons ke peeche pargaye hoon..Mere dono bete bahut hoshyaar hain aur jab waqt aayega to ladki bhi unke zindagi mein bhi aajayega…jaise aapki bahu aagayi thi meri zindagi main..

And he looks at yashoda wo smiles shyly..Amit and Sumit also smiles and everyone happy and all eat their dinner

Sumit thinking and into himself: Shayad..dad..shayad wo ladki jiska mujhe intezaar tah wo aagayi hain..shayad ..

And again he daydreams forgetting the whole world around him and suddenly sees kumkum infront of him, her smile, her beautiful eyes, he sees her, she walks and comes and stands next to him with her beautiful smile. She takes a paratha and puts it in his plate, Sumit keeps staring at her, she then takes the daal and puts some daal in his plate..Sumit still staring at her, looking at her beautiful face, with her sweet voice she says, ek aur paratha doon, sumit still staring at her… her bindiya shining in the light and in his eyes and Sumit blinks his eyes and when he opens his eyes he sees instead of kumkum Simmie in front of him who is confused looking at him..

Simmie: bhaiya kya hogaya aapko..itne dheer se main pooch rahi hoon ek aur paratha aapko doon aur aap bas mujhe ghoor the jaarahe ho…mujhe bhi bhook lagi hain na..ab tum khud lelena aggar tumhe aur paratha chahiye…

Simmie goes and sits and Sumit back to his senses smiles and slaps his own head and thinks

Sumit thinking: kya hogaaya mujhe… tu to gaya Sumit..

And he smiles and eats his dinner like everyone else..

In the same city at the Singh household everyone also just had their dinner. Ashu's parents Mr Rajvir Singh and Mrs Pooja Singh, her nana and nani, her brother Ashmit are all sitting in the living room and discussing about work and stuff and Kumkum and Ashu are with Kiran bhabi who is makin jai sleep. Ashu and Kiran are on the bed while jai is laying and Kiran is telling a story about a girl, while Kumkum is standing at the window looking at the stars and away in her own thoughts. Ashu notices and goes near her..

Ashu: Kumkum..kya hua..kya soch rahe ho..

Kumkum: kuch nahi bas bhabi ki kahaani sunrahi thi..aur mujhe anpni life ke bare mein yaad aagayi..

Ashu sighs: kumkum tum phirse..

As they could not talk loud coz jai was almost falling asleep Ashu takes Kk and they go to their room.

Ashu: Kumkum tum wo sab kyon yaad karna chahte hoon..dekho humsab tumse bahut pyaar karte hain na..tum please apni past life ko bhool jao yaar..aur tum hum sab ke saath khush hoon na..?

Kumkum: aisi baat nahi hain. Ashu main bhi tum sab se bahut pyaar karti hoon. Aur tumhara family ne jo mere liyee kiya hain wo to main kisi janam mein bhi nahi chukka sakoon ghi..iss zamaane mein wo bhi ek ajnabee ladki ke liyee jo tum sab ne kiya hain..aur mujhe apne ghar aur apne dil mein jagah diya hain..wo sab kaun bhala karta..

Ashu: Kumkum tum please aise baaten mat karo..aur kaun kehta hain ke tum ajnabee ho tum meri sister ho samdji tum..aur tumne to bhi hum sabko kitna pyaar diya hain..

Kumkum smiles and before she could say anything Ashmit from behind them comes

Ashmit: Ashu ne bilkool theek kahi hain. Kumkum tum meri behen ho aur tum kabhie aisa mat kehna ke tum ajnabee ho..samdji warna tumhara ye bhai tumse ruth jaayega..aur waise bhi ye jo tum har saal mujhe rakhi banda hain to kya wo ek behen ka pyaar nahi tah..?

Kumkum: nahi bhaiya..tumdono theek hi kehrahe hoon..main hi paagal hoon jo uss baare mein soch rahi hoon jo mujhe nahi sochna chahiye..im sorry

Ashmit smiles and hugs both Ashu and Kumkum and kisses their foreheads..

Ashmit: achha ab tum dono apni gupshup karo…main jaa ke dekhti hoon meri biwi kya karrahi hain..aur haan no worries okay..

Kumkum and Ashu smiles

Ashmit: aur haan main kal tum dono ko college drop kardunga, uske baat office chala jawunga..theek hain..

And he smiles and leaves the girls, while Ashu and Kumkum smiles and hugs each other..
