<font color="#0000ff">I liked this part very much. In general commentary. And the bolded, very beautifully said. No matter how many action movies or soaps we watch or violent video games we can indulge in, the matter of someone lifting their hand to slap or beat someone, shows a temper that needs control. There is no excuse for that and the present times are not the barbaric times of old. Heros torturing their heroine in the name of revenge or passionate love is not in good taste and likewise heroines going around slapping men is also not warranted, keeping in mind how the weaker men can get violent in reactionary rage. India lacks the culture of asking when one is in shock..."Are you okay? Can you see clearly? Do you see my fingers?" Thanks for affirming what I said :) You are absolutely right, asking ourselves the question, "would we be okay in such a situation being dropped and prodded with a pin or even hitting another?" does put a lot in perspective.
The actors are awesome, their comic scenes are grin worthy but this shifts a lot of responsibility onto the writers, even if they write such tracks for TRPs, the progression of the storyline should demonstrate that such vile behavior is always punished, never rewarded. That is what made me mad when Pragya gave those "come hither" looks to Abhi. She should be shown of sterner stuff, standing her ground and teaching the cad a lesson, however endearing he appears, not forgiving all and begging for crumbs just because he is her patidev. If such feelings were to be warranted from Pragya's side as a stepping stone to the love story that is inevitable in the soap then the CVs should portray alongside of Abhi realizing he has feelings for her, an almost subconscious avoidance of Tannu and not an avid seeking out of bird brain for hugs and kisses at a family event.
