Still she remember the first time that she saw him, sitting there like a spirit of the wood. Yes a spirit, that was the feeling that nidhi got when she was with him,--ashutosh!! when she looked at him she did not get the feeling of being accompanied, being with him felt the same as being alone. She could just look through him, he seemed like such a transparant person, something that she had never experienced before. But now she know him better than that, he was not like a spirit at all. He was more like a locked book that did not allow people to see what's inside. But if you would manage to look inside, even if it was just one little sentence, you would just want to keep reading on and on, you would just try your best to unlock every page, it did not matter how much effort it took. At least, that was how nidhi felt about it when he first opened up to her, she felt so facinated. And everytime that some new part opened up, the warm feeling inside her started to grow.
She sat in the window with her favorite book and a cup of tea. It was drizzling lightly outside, but it was likely to be sunny again. It was her day off, she had nothing to do, ...so she decided to revisit those days when she found him---the treasure of her life--ashutosh!!
She was so much attracted to him...from that night of raining...that she didn't even realize when and how she had fallen in love with him...nd d same what happened to him also!!!
Though he tried...tried hard to b away from her...but may b...may b her love had something magnetic that pulled him towards her!!!!
ND that day...when she was about to go from India...living him...without allowing him to know abt her feelings...
She can still remembered d day nd his look when she got back kgh after a week bcs of high fever...
She stepped at kgh after a long week off for her sudden illness. She was an intern of kgh then...always chirpy nd smiling! Everyone in the hospital loved her...so when she wasn't well everyone in d hospital missed her a lot! Almost every1 in kgh visited her in home or used to call her! Bt 1 person she want to talk didn't call her at once...nd he is none bt the man with whom she was in love-dr. Ashutosh!
She was very disapointed...so decided to ignore him! Bt her bad luck d person with whom she met first was ashutosh.
She looked at the quiet man before her and froze, if only for moment, uncontrollably. This is what always happened when she saw him, and she hated it. Her feet would somehow just stop working and all of a sudden it would just be her looking at him and' And then she would catch herself losing control of herself and try to move, only it never was that simple. She doesn't know why exactly he did this to her, it was just something he could just do. It was the most amazing' and scary thing she has ever been through.
It was like she would see his face and it would cause her heart to literally explode. It's hard to explain but it's true. Each and every time she saw that black hair and those bottomless beautiful blues it would happen, without fail, and then once reality kicked in she'd be standing there like a fool. Then, her cheeks would flame and she'd do her best to disappear behind her chestnut waves. It's so embarrassing. Thank God, that him and his black-brown eyes hardly ever even knew she existed or else she doesn't think she could live with that kind of humiliation'
So there she was, staring like a fool at those glorious black locks falling perfectly in front of those endless eyes, when he looked at her. There, in that moment, it was black and brown, him and her. It was so wonderfully frightening that all she could manage to do was give a bewildered smile and begin to lose herself in her tawnyripples. She started to turn away, afraid, but secretly hopeful, that he might see all of the overwhelming emotions rushing through her. She was turning, hiding, and running all at the same time, when the most magnificent voice stopped her. His voice. He was calling her name. "nidhi!" he called, "nidhi wait!"
she sweard her heart skipped a beat as he jogged to stand next to her."You gotta minute?" he asked, completely smooth, and he even smiled. Then she spoke in a tone that surprised even her, "Ya, sure' What's up,sir?" It was completely smoothe, just like his. She still had no idea how she'd managed that.
"I was just wondern' if you wanted to' um' walk to canteen together?" he asked with nervous eyes as he ran his fingers through his hair.
Engulfed with so much emotion, it took all she had to say an even, "Sure." Then off they walked...they didn't know what to say! Only they knew how they missed one another in this whole week!
Ashu thought...thought to call her! But then a hesitation covered himself...he afraid...afraid to reveal his feelings fr her!
So he kept a distance frm her...bt in this one week he realised how badly he needed her...her one glimpse made his day!
Nd today...when he saw her...he..he felt an sudden intense of happiness! Nd so why he called her...
But now both of them lost their word...they walked silently towards d canteen when someone from behind called-- nidhi??
ND that. Was none but anji who was jumping in her excitement...she was the one who gave her the news that her father finally agreed to allow. Her leaving the profession nd could go abroad to continue. Her study due to her preference...
She still can remember his reaction hearing that news but couldn't understand d reason then!!!
And then that day come...when he came to her house with a bunch of red rose...to wished her a happy journey...then happened the miracle that she never thought to b possible!!!!
He stands in the large picture window gazing at his own reflection as he thinks of her. His eyes fall down to a book left on the window seat before him. The leather is a pale lavender. He picks it up and opens to the place that has been marked with a pink ribbon...
That was her personal diary...he though hesitated for sometime but then opened it...nd what he found there written made him the luckiest man ever...

Today I realize the most beautiful feeling of earth...nd I'm feeling heavenly peace realizing that I LOVE DR.ASHUTOSH!!!
He then turned the next page nd found written ----why he always so rude with me???why??...can't he understand it hurts...badly...!!!
Then again in one page he found written ---how can b dream looks so real???
Oh!god...i can feel his touch...his whisper in my ear...
Is this called love??? Is this the feeling what make U smile a midst of immense problem!!
Every page of that diary made him realize how fool he was loosing this TRUE love of his life...his nidhi!!!
He just turned back when he meet those teary eyes of her...
Nidhi backs up from the doorway realizing he has read it all. He lsees the embarrassment flood her eyes open wider with terror. She turns and begins to run towards the way she came. "Wait nidhi, wait!" ashutosh tosses the book onto a chair and takes off after her. She has a good head start but not good enough. He soon catches up to her and grabs her by the arm spinning her body towards him. "nidhi please stop." He sees the tears glistening in her beautiful black eyes. Pushing against him she pleads, "Do not do this dr.asutosh. Let go and let me be." "I can't!" She softens in his grasp. "I won't." he loosens his grip further. "Not ever nidhi. Not in this lifetime." He kissed her lightly on her forhead...nd pulled her in his arm to wrap her in a tight warm hug...
Nidhi smiled...yaah...that is like there love...there may b darkness...but in that darkness their love provide them with light...
She was lost in his thought when she felt a pairs of hand...nd automatically there formed a smile in her lips---aagaye ap???
He nodded resting his head in his neck...
---to din kaisa hahan apka???

She smiled nd turned to him---to ja ku rahe hain mujhe chod kar??--she pouted!!!
He pulled her in his arm...--nidhi!!mera bass chale to main tumhe chorkar kahin na jao...par...
